Perhaps selfishly I was trying to keep it a secret to protect my stash access to some of my favorite wines in the region. Only 3 miles away from our home, Twill has been our local favorite winery for over 5 years. A small and intimate venue, every attention to detail has been considered and engineered into their presentation and guest experience. They treat you like a member of the family, caring much more about you than profit. Rare in this world. It has been the location of my daughter's wedding and engagement party. And no doubt more family or professional events if/when we're in need. Molly and Daryl are the most charming and warm "neighbor vintners" we know. No pretentiousness. All passion and commitment to excellence. So let's get to the wine. Our favorites have been the Steelhead Pinot (retired), their 2021 & 2023 Color of Orange and their 2022 Willamette Chardonnay. Add to that - the 2019 Johan Vineyards and Bracken Pinot Noirs.....WOW!
