Truth be told, I originally wandered in as a location scout for Alchemyic Artisan, but I happily stayed for the bubbles and the ambiance. And if the moon happens to be in the right mood, you may have the pleasure of meeting Melane'... an intuitive with an infectious spirit who occasionally appears to be quietly crocheting while waiting for the next spiritual download to arrive. If you're lucky enough to have her read your tarot cards, lean in. Whether you're a believer or simply curious, she's an absolute delight. Come for the Champagne. Stay for the conversation. Leave inspired. A must-stop for anyone who appreciates great wine, thoughtful design, and places with genuine soul.

Street parking available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came here on a Friday afternoon and grabbed a spot at the patio nook. It is a bit hotter than the inside, but that's because it has more sunlight hitting the room. For the wine tasting, we got one white and three reds. Makes sense since we were in Paso and they're famous for their big bold reds. I did enjoy their cabernet sauvignon the most in the tasting, however the puors were less than an oz, which was just enough to get a sip in. I was disappointed in that especially as a potential buyer looking to get understand the wine a bit more than a two sipper. THE FINAL BAMBOO: A wine tasting of four wines with a very miniscule tasting pours was around $40.

Huge thanks to that goes to our host, Tamara. She was an absolute delight! Our glasses were never empty and she was just such a funny, quirky host. About halfway through our flight, she took us downstairs for the cave tour. Wow, what a stunner! Such a unique touch to this winery. The other incredible thing is that Eberle doesn't charge for tastings so you might as well pick up a bottle or two :)

Since it's more of boutique, the bottles are quite pricey, mostly ranging near the 100s. But it was our favorite the whole weekend we went there. And we bought 6 bottles. We loved the spell and got 3 bottles of that! It's a Syrah cab blend. Has the Paso flavor that we love. It's not a vineyard, just a tasting room but worth a visit. We met the wine maker too. Friendly and attentive service. Can't wait to pop open a bottle at home soon!

The focus here is on GSM blends and other Rhône varietals, along with Bordeaux blends and varietals -- big, bold, and fruit-forward, but balanced enough to keep things interesting glass after glass. We had such a great experience that we joined the wine club before we left. We don't live locally, but the Ecluse Enthusiast membership is absolutely worth it -- especially with only a 6-bottle annual commitment. It's given us a great reason to make Paso an annual trip, and Ecluse is always one of our must-stop favorites. Since joining, the winery has gone through some exciting changes. They've built out a beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyard, and they were acquired by Thibido Winery. We were a little nervous about what that might mean for the brand we loved, but they've stayed true to keeping both labels separate and distinct -- and we've only benefited from it, since we now get to taste wines from both when we come for our annual pickup. We can't wait to spend more time on that terrace during our next visit. If you're putting together a Paso Robles wine itinerary, Ecluse deserves a spot on it.

I figured we would be seated but the tasting occured standing up at the bar, which was fine. The tastings were generous, and customizable. My friend decided to do a white tasting, and I did the standard tasting. It was pretty hot, so about halfway through the tasting, we sat down at a table in the shade and walked up for the rest of our tastings but by that time, a large group had come through so the server was busier but still managed to remember where we were in the tasting. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. When we were done with our tastings, we walked around the property to look at the sculptures and the grounds. I did buy a bottle of wine and picked it up inside where they had other items for sale from local vendors, including our server who makes soap with her goat's milk.

The breeze and weather and ambiance were all great, it was a perfect first stop upon arrival in Paso for the weekend!

I was looking for a specific Armenian wine that I couldnt find in Santa Barbara or SYV, and I had a Paso trip planned. I was happy to have found it at this store by searching the website. I called the day before and asked about purchasing online and picking up. They said no problem, they will pull and hold for me. The next day I stopped by and asked for the hold. A very rude lady accused me of always holdng items and not picking up (short, short hair). She said my name quite loudly. She said "let's be honest here Lisa, you have done this before". I had never been to this store or asked for wine to be held prior to this. Others in my party left and would not purchase because of this behavior. It was embarrassing. The other staff were very nice and helpful. In summary, it is a beautiful liquor store with an amazing selection of wine and spirits at fair prices, great website, and most of the staff at helpful and lovely.

They were super sweet and accommodated us within a few minutes. We got seats outside which was really nice. Brian was helping us with our tasting and was awesome. He knew so much about the wine and loved how passionate he is about what he does. To our surprise, since we don't ever get a tasting like that, he stayed with us the whole tasting. That was really nice since as we were tasting we had more questions about the wine, about the winery, about the owners, and we also fell in love with the wine and winery. Overall, such a cute winery. If you are considering coming, you should go and to be on the safe side make reservations so you don't miss out in tasting their wine. Today the tasting room. Tori the Operations Manager educated us, cared for us, and wowed us to the fullest extent. If you need a winery that is not only organic but AMAZING in every way, stop here. Someone taught me years ago in the Bay Area that you shouldn't be a wine club member unless you like all the wines, I thought to myself "Is that even possible to like all the wines at a particular winery?". I highly recommend Glunz for a casual and comfortable wine tasting. Lots of outdoor space, an area for kids to mini golf (if wine tasting with kids is your thing) and they waive tastings without an egregious purchase.
