I called and Amber was extremely nice and helpful in getting me setup for an appointment. She even gave me a number to send the video of the leak I had. My appointment was the next afternoon. The next day Amber had texted to let me know that if it rained the technician would reschedule since it would be difficult to find a leak in the rain but that the technician would let me know. However the rain held off and I received a text that the technician was on his way. The text had a picture along with the name of who was coming. That is something I liked and really felt stood out with customer service. The technician Joe arrived extremely nice guy down to earth very professional. He got right to the job and literally within 15 minutes checked out what was going on. He gave me the estimate-and military discount. I was ready to schedule for the service to see when they could do it. I pulled my calendar out and Joe was like are you going to be here and I said yes and he said ok I'll go get my tools. Lol! I was like this is great I had no idea he had time to take care of it today. It was perfect. Joe got to work and I mean this guy worked! He got the job done and made sure everything worked ok. Found the problem, fixed it better than before with better parts. He made sure that the work he did I was happy with and I'm telling you the service from this company from the first phone call to Amber to meeting Joe was "Top of the Line" excellent service! The quality of work and I felt the price was fair. I hope I do t have another leak but if I need any plumbing done, Smith's will be my first call. Choate's installed a complete HAVAC system for us 9 years ago. I called them on a Friday because…read morethe AC was not cooling. Was given a Saturday appt. from 1-7 PM. The tech spent over two hours and took 22 photos of the AC system, the furnace, the hot water tank, the main breaker box. 22 photos trying to find something else to tell us needed replacing. He said we had a leak but he could not find it. He said he could do a pressure test for $400. and keep looking, or we could buy a complete new AC system for $10,000. I asked if he would refill system with refrigerant while we considered our options. He said that would cost $190 a pound for the refrigerant which required 8 pounds, for a cost of $1,520. Our system still had 12 months of original warranty remaining but the tech was of no assistance in determining if the leak was even in one of the AC components still under warranty. He was only interested in selling more testing, or a complete new system. The next day I called another company. He showed up on Sunday no less, found the leak in 30 minutes, tightened a connection, added 2 pounds of refrigerant, and charged us $260. for a SUNDAY service call ! I paid Choate's $159. for their trip charge plus a diagnostic fee, which was " You have a leak." And remember my system was installed by Choate's and still under warranty. Stay away from Choate's, run away from Choate's as fast as you can.

When I asked that plumber if it could be fixed and put back the way it was, he said no. I realized later he just didn't want to fix his mistake. I had to call around for another plumber and got Nathan with Flourish Home Services. I wasn't feeling good about having to call another plumber but it was something about the conversation with Nathan that made me decide to go with him. Nathan came out immediately and assessed the situation and stated it could be fixed. Nathan came back two days later with what he needed to fix the waterline and put it back to its original state. Nathan was a nice, professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.
