3.5 rounded up to 4. First tried coming on a friday evening and it was packed. There's an ipad stand at the entrance where you go and enter your name and number and guests. Then you get a text message when your table is ready. For some reason the restaurant was so busy there was something like 18 groups ahead of us, so we went elsewhere. Tried again on a Monday evening and there were plenty of available tables. Ordered the combo LA Kalbi and cold noodles, the yukgaejang mandu guk (spicy beef soup with dumplings) and tempura calamari. An impressive number of sides came out, including raw crab and shrimp. The eggplant and greens were probably my favourite. The LA kalbi was tasty. The cold noodles I wasn't huge on but it might be my preference and nothing to do with the noodles. I've had cold noodles a few times in the past and only once really enjoyed it. The soup dish was packed with stuff like glass noodles and big long dumplings, but was very spicy. The only thing my kid liked and would eat was the calamari. Service was attentive and nice. Atmosphere was good because we got a booth and it wasn't too busy.
Came here on a Saturday around 6pm not to hard to find parking. I had added my party to wait list while on the way there thru snappy so didn't have to wait much. Food is average priced good selection of choices. Good amount of banchan including raw crab! The seating is spacious and has tall ceilings! The food was good not overly salty or oily. I got the pork bulgogi and galbitang.
On a Saturday evening we craved Korean food for dinner and saw Coredam was highly rated. We were on the waiting list for about an hour till our table was ready. Note the host is at the end of the restaurant so you will have to check in there after you get your text that your table is ready. It appears most tables were for groups so if you are dining solo or two people it will be a longer wait. We ordered the bulgogi and seollangtang. Both came with a bowl of purple mixed rice. Surprisingly it also came with a generous portion of banchan, 12 side dishes! These were all tasty except the raw shrimp which I didn't try. I would visit again, perhaps at a less busy hour as it was quite the long wait at peak dinner time.
Another great Korean restaurant just opened up in this neighborhood. We popped by and enjoyed a delicious meal here with an abundant of side dishes. Definitely highly recommend the sweet bulgogi pork!! It's so good with their perfectly cooked rice! The Galbi Tang (beef short ribs soup with cabbage) was loaded with huge chunks of short ribs, but we found that it wasn't quite tender enough. Also want to note that service here was excellent!

The good part is they're in the same plaza as Galleria, or else we wouldn't wait. They would call you and let you know the table is almost ready. By the time it was our turn, we were already so hungry. We each got our own entree and was surprised to see marinated crab and shrimp as part of the banchan! However, it was just one time including the eggs. The rest of the banchan were unlimited, but they were all overly salty. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. There were bibs in the draw, but no gloves, which was odd. Most of the entrees came with the hot rice, and it reminded me of Gwangjang Market. Overall, they're decent but definitely some improvements especially the saltiness.
We came across Coredam when shopping at the newly opened Galleria. My mom ordered the clam Kalguksu, the clams were good and did not fall out of the shell. The soup was on on the saltier side. However, this is really personal preference. Maybe others will find it just right. The Sundubu, soft tofu stew served spicy with vegetable and seafood. The squid in there were tasty, and the soup was on the spicier side. My dad ordered the Doenjang jjigae-soy bean paste stew. The spicy crab and marinated shrimp were tasty. The side dishes were a good variety. I really liked the spinach. The service was very friendly and attentive, fhe staff always came back to refill our tea and we were given wet napkins. Ambiance was simple, comfortable and spacious. I will come back to check out other dishes!
This place opened around the same time as the supermarket. After grocery shopping with my mom, we thought we should try it out since it's right there. I forgot what my mom ordered and didn't take a photo of it. I ordered the Bibimbap; it was big, but the sauce wasn't the same and not spicy at all, which was disappointing to me, but overall it was all right. They even gave 12 side dishes to start after ordering. All of them tasted great. The service was satisfactory; they always made sure we were good and greeted my baby all the time. The noise level is perfect--not too loud, but you can hear the background music. I'm definitely coming back to try other dishes, but parking might be an issue.

I've dined in multiple times with my family and friends, and my experience here have been excellent. The restaurant is very comfortably laid out and the staff are courteous and efficient. I love the serve-yourself utensil drawers built into your table which also holds bibs/apron for messier meals and individually wrapped flossers to get those finicky gochugaru out of your teeth...etc that elevate your dining experience. Attention to detail here is very much appreciated! Their banchans are good variety with a rotating mix of solid favorites and some rarer ones like marinaded shrimp and crab (spicy). All the entrees are generous sizes. I loved my Yuk-gye-jang mandoo guk, which was seriously tummy-busting even for a big back like me. Everyone enjoyed their meals here and my mom had high praises for their Naeng-myun as the restaurant makes their Naeng-myun noodles onsite. Only thing I didn't like about Coredam is the fact that they won't let you pack your leftover banchan to take home. Our server explained that it was to deter diners from ordering extra banchan, just so they can take them home, but let's be honest here, the leftover banchans were just going to get tossed anyway, so I don't see the point in enforcing the no leftover banchan takeout policy this way. I will be back to try out their other menu soon and I look forward to bringing my Korean food loving friends to see what they think! read more

Apologies for the long review... but it was a train wreck of a dining experience. Came here for dinner with a party of 8, including two young kids. From the start, things went downhill. First, we were told the fryer was broken, so no fried items could be served. That's understandable, but it became an issue because the kids only wanted fried dumplings and shrimp. We asked a waitress if we could run next door to McDonald's for Happy Meals and bring them in. She explicitly said yes, and we confirmed we'd clean up all trash ourselves. Only with that green light did we go and purchase them. Later, a different waiter came over and accused us of bringing in outside food without permission. When we explained we had approval from his colleague, he made a face, said it wasn't allowed, and told us he'd have to "call the boss." It felt like he said that to scare us or make us feel ashamed, especially since bringing outside food isn't something we'd normally do. We only did it because we had explicit permission and because their fryer was down. He never came back to tell us the outcome, leaving us in limbo with two hungry kids. Our order was also messed up, a cold noodle from a completely different menu section was brought to our table. When I pointed out I didn't order it, the waitress brought the menu back to our table and pointed at it, as if to prove I had made the mistake. It felt condescending and embarrassing, rather than just apologizing and correcting it. When we tried to order an extra bowl of rice (and clearly said we would pay for it), the waitress cut us off mid-sentence and started lecturing us that our table only ordered enough dishes for a certain amount of rice. We had to wait for her to finish before we could even reply that we understood and simply wanted more rice and were willing to pay for it. She never actually listened to what we were trying to say. For a table of 8, they split us into two groups of 4. Our side got 11 side dishes while the other got only 9, which made things awkward. And for the six adults at our group (the two kids weren't eating from the restaurant), they brought out a side dish with only four pieces of shrimp... not even one per person. Clearly not portioned for larger groups. After all these mistakes, no one checked on us, refilled our side dishes, or tried to make things right. I don't know if we were treated this way because we're Chinese, but the dismissiveness and condescension definitely left us feeling unwelcome. To be fair, the food itself tasted pretty good, which makes it even more disappointing. We would've come back, but after this experience, it just doesn't feel right to return. I don't recommend this place for families or large groups. Or if you don't speak Korean. The food might be fine, but the service and attitude completely ruined the experience. read more
A Korean restaurant that are so generous with their banchan side dishes. Food here is quite spicy though so come prepared! Came for dinner here and was mainly because we wanted to try something new, knew they had a variety of banchans and wanted to try their raw marinated crabs. But to my surprise, one of the banchan dishes actually has raw marinated crab and shrimp (of course in a much smaller portion), but it was nice to have if you didn't actually order the dish itself. Here's what we got: Seafood pancake 4/5 - Large, delicious and crispy on the edges! Good variety of seafood in this. Fried calamari 5/5 - This one surprised me a bit since I thought they looked like onion rings but the pieces of calamari were super fat and juicy. Mandu 4/5 - Pretty good and typical mandu! Welk salad 3.5/5 - Thought this was okay. Have had larger pieces of welk in other places and this was spicy! Cold noodle 3.5/5 - It was nice that there are watermelon pieces in this cold noodle but I was thrown off by the perilla taste in the noodles. Not what I'm typically use to. Army Stew 3.5/5 - This was good but spicy! Our group can usually handle the spice at other Korean restaurants so didn't think to ask for mild. But wow was it spicy here! My other friends that have dined here before said their server have warned them about their spice level being higher than usual other restaurants. But unfortunately we weren't warned of this. Left the restaurant with a burning mouth but full stomach! Good food overall though. read more

Came here with my friend after seeing this new place on social media with a ton of side dishes. We were able to get a table without a wait. They bought out 11 whole side dishes, including a raw spicy marinated crab. Most of the side dishes were spicy, but I enjoyed them. The main dish portions were pretty large in my opinion too. I had the clam kalguksu, and it was very peppery. There were a good amount of clams in there, and it was very easy to get the meat out of the shell. At the end of the meal, we were given the thickest wet wipes I have ever had the pleasure of wiping my hands with too. Great time. read more
