Items looked dry and old. The restaurant was was run down and dirty. It's very unfortunate that this has happened.

My kid is sick so I went here to get some broth and a side of naan. Here's their full review: "chicken better than beef. sodium levels off the charts." My mango smoothie was mostly banana. But tasty enough.

Fast food with a variety of salad, poke, Tex-mex mix. Wished their salad portions were bigger. Their broth was really good. Chicken broth is my go to.

A nice location of the Corelife chain. This is conveniently (or perhaps inconveniently) located on West Ridge Road near the mall, so the parking lot shared with Petco and Party City can get hectic. Ingredients are fresh (minus a couple of icky salad leaves today), and they have a variety of fun fountain drinks like cranberry cayenne lemonade and fig & vanilla iced tea. There is ample seating and it's always seemed clean whenever I'm here. Other pros: Eco-friendly bowls and flatware Staff is friendly Lots of protein in one meal Minor quibble: No mushrooms as a topping choice #TeamMushroom

My girls and I are following Weight Watchers, and it's a little difficult to find good salads out there. Sure, I can make a salad at home, but somehow it's not the same :) CoreLife is a great place to go. Order off their menu or make your own (which I always do). Ingredients are always fresh. The amount of greens you get is amazing... the other stuff, they could give you a little more (for the money you pay). Food is overall good but pricey. We don't go often, but love it when we do!

All sorts of lemonade. I got the basil lemongrass one. Tasted interesting at first, but pretty good after a while.

Had a quick dinner here tonight and was pleasantly surprised. I was looking up yelp for something healthy and close to the hotel, and CoreLife showed up. I decided to give it a try. Since I'm in the mood for healthy light dinner, I ordered the broth bowl. Just like what the other Yelper said, it's like a chipotle for salads and soups. I customized my mushroom and tofu broth bowl with the addition of steak (with a fee, can't remember how much) and instead of veggie broth, I have mine in the chicken broth. They assemble your bowl right in front of you, and then they dump everything into a boiling pot for a little bit. After it's cooked, they take out the solids and put it in a bowl and add the broth right there. The broth tasted pretty good. It has a little kick to it thanks to the sprouts they put in there. Tofu has great flavor, but the steak is not so good. Next time I'd probably do double tofu for the protein. I also tried cucumber basil lemongrass lemonade and the beef lemonade. The cucumber lemonade tasted a little like cough syrup at first , but it gets better after you take a few sips. The beet lemonade however was surprisingly good! I actually filled my cup with it before I leave. It doesn't taste beety at all, just a hint of it. Very good! If I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely come back for a health meal.

My build-your-own bowl was awesome sauce with spinach, quinoa, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and tofu. Hubby had Spicy Thai chicken bowl and said it was great. Love this place and all its options!

So many locations and I love a coupon. I hadn't visited since they hosted a YELP event in Victor. I had the tuna poke fire bowl, he piled on the jalapenos. At this location I was offered an additional veg topping when requested without an up charge. The bowl was fabulous, fresh veg, pickled veg and sizable tuna chunks. I would totally recommend the bowl and the location.

Southwest Chicken w/ Wild Rice (no tomatoes, $8.45), and a cup of Cranberry Cayenne Lemonade ($2.95)

It looked good and close to where my customers work place was. It turned out to be a good choice. I called for a lunch reservation but turned out it wasn't needed. There were a few tables filled but there was plenty of room. The tables were nice as we got a high top that reminded me of a bowling lane it was kinda cool. The chairs were mismatched on purpose and I loved it. They had a sitting area with a big soft looking couch. The menu was a good size and I liked a bunch of options. I went with the rice bowl with portobello. It was delicious. It had picked vegetables, rice, pico and some sort of wasabi drizzle. I would have eaten another. We got an app that was pita, veggies and pita. The hummus was good and the pesto was very good the only down side is it could have had more pita as there was a lot of pesto hummus and roasted red pepper dip left. Staff was quick and chef was on top of her game I would suggest for anyone that is in the area. Stop in give it a try. I will come back and try some other meals. The burgers that came out looked amazing as they went by

I enjoyed mine, but my dining companion's (the Saturn) tasted like straight juice. With dinner, I wanted to get a draft beer and was able to sample the two IPAs. While one was tasty, I didn't order one because the beer was lukewarm. I got a burger, and companion got the black cod. The burger is $32 and a full pound and served with a heap of fries. For the price, less than impressed. The overly thick patty was just too much. It was dry and just not for me. I would rather have two well-seasoned and juicy thinner patties. The fries and sauce were good. But not $32 worth of good. The cod itself was decent but it came in a sauce that was cold and odd tasting. Ambiance is fine. It was loud and crowded, but clean. Service was friendly.

I finally had the opportunity to eat out at REDD for a friend's birthday a couple of weeks ago…read moreafter years of trying to come. I really have to say - for the most part, the wait was worth it. First and foremost, I have to call out their drink menu - while ultimately we came to enjoy a nice dinner, their cocktails were by far the biggest star of the show, with our entrees trailing very closely behind. If you like to partake in alcoholic beverages, I can say without a doubt these are the best cocktails I've had in Rochester, let alone all of Western NY, and this is even put up against drinks from the likes of Cure, Bitter Honey, and Avvino. I don't know if the bartender is just using higher quality spirits as a result of REDD being an upscale restaurant, but the "Burn after Reading", "Wise Guy", and Manhattan are some of the smoothest, most delicious, multi-noted drinks I've had in my entire life. If I don't come back for the food, I will absolutely be back for the drinks, because my goodness, abso-freaking-lutely phenomenal. My friends and I still talk about them now even weeks later. For our entrees we had the NY strip steak, grilled chicken, and a poached salmon, and every single piece of protein was cooked just perfectly. The steak was a beautiful warm medium rare, the chicken was glistening with succulent juiciness, and the poached salmon which I had for my main is one of the softest pieces of fish I've had in my life. It beautifully flaked away on a bed of potato puree and extremely well herbed and seasoned home fry-like potatoes that were ever-so-slightly just-undercooked intentionally to act as a perfect foil to the gorgeously soft puree and salmon itself. If I were to knock anything at all, the winter squash, turnip, and green vegetable medley that came with the chicken and steak was unfortunately far too undercooked for my liking, almost to the point of being completely raw, and while I appreciate letting vegetables sing and respect the beauty of raw, fresh vegetables, I was hoping for a little bit more of chef-y flair, seasoning, or even cooking of them. Besides that, the wait staff was simply top tier and were extremely inviting throughout the entire evening. We felt taken care of and checked up on often and they were the utmost professional. The only thing that was a true negative was the desserts -- if there's one thing I would NEVER order at REDD again, unfortunately our dessert missed the mark entirely. My best guess is due to lack of a pastry chef, but our chocolate tart was muddy and flavorless, not even tasting of chocolate, and the two homemade ice creams we tried - chocolate, and oatmeal followed in suit. We ultimately wrapped up at REDD but then ran down to Char Steak & Grill at the Strathallan for what ended up being a phenomenal dessert experience there. But overall, I have to say - I will definitely be back! The entrees were awesome, the cocktails were life-changing, and the ambience and wait staff were without fault. Thank you for a wonderful experience, REDD, and see you again soon!
