Corned Beef Hash and Crab Cakes omelettes! Delicious! Top notch seasoning and flavor.
    Jess M.

Blue Ridge Grill was amazing!!! The service (Debbie) was great. Ambiance was home-y. FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. Some of the best breakfast food we had in a while. Corned beef hash was fire, same with crab cake omelettes I mean what the heck! So much flavor and seasoning. Pairs great with orange juice. Omelettes came with home fries or hashbrowns and pancakes or French toast. I couldn't even try my boyfriends home fries or French toast because he literally ate everything in 10 minutes. Don't be afraid to get the corned beed hash as a side because honestly, it's a true game stopper. This restaurant makes me want to go back to Rochester. Loved it!

I've not been here in years and will not hurry back. Stopped in on a Sunday night around 6pm, they're open until 8pm. All the booths were taken but they had plenty of tables available. We were seated right away. Tammi came over, introduced herself and took our beverage order. She brought our drinks and then she disappeared. We saw her check on other tables and not look at us. She'd come out of the kitchen, grab something and go back again - at least 3 times! I finally asked the hostess if there was an issue or if we could have another server - it had been at least 15 minutes - and it was not a good sign. A minute later Tammi comes out apologizes, takes our order and said she'd get it right in. By then the place had emptied out so our food did come out quickly. Hubby's pork loin special was good, but the mashed potatoes were dry (even with gravy). My mom's roast turkey dinner was also good but they forgot the cranberry sauce and my mom didn't realize it until she was almost done. My salmon Mediterranean was delicious but the salmon was a bit overcooked, artichokes were very dry/burnt, and the sauce had way too much asiago . And they were out of rice pudding for dessert, sigh... Lackluster meal and mediocre service. I will give it another try one day, but not anytime soon.

We went to the blue ridge grill on Sunday morning for breakfast and again we got lucky and got a booth. However I will say the booths don't seem to be as sturdy as they should be. And the place was starting to get really crowded and loud. But anyway the waitress who was pleasant and talkative came to the table rather quickly and took our drink & food order. We both got ice water with lemon and coffee along with our breakfast mine was eggs, toast and home fries. No complaints the food was good.

The restaurant has been renovated since I last visited. It has a large dining area with mostly booths with tall dividers which is nice for reducing Covid/sickness this time of year and quieter/more private eating spaces. They did have a handful of tables available. Bathrooms consist of 2 large single stall bathrooms (a men's and a women's). The service was friendly and quick, we came in right when they opened around 7am on Black Friday. The food was good and cheap amongst our group of 4. Would definitely stop in again.

I had breakfast alone at Blue Ridge Grill. They have improved a bit since my last visit. The environment was quiet, with about four other customers dining. However, the waitress was mostly in the kitchen and not attentive to us. I had to wait quite a while just to be able to pay. The menu offered plenty of options, including mimosas in different flavors, all at great prices. I ordered a dish that was a mix of eggs, cheese, veggies, olives, and potatoes--just one big plate of an unappealing combination. The flavor was okay and edible, but not particularly enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant for breakfast to families or groups, mainly because of the affordable prices. Just be prepared to wait for service.

The majority of the menu is Turkish, and they are using authentic ingredients either imported from Turkey, or from the region. Our food was yummy and very reminiscent of the breakfasts we enjoyed when we were traveling. First, this place is in a strip mall and may not be easy to spot; second it's small, and despite their efforts to jazz up the interior with themed seating areas, it has a very take-out sort of vibe; and third, there are other things on the menu that I'm guessing they offer because of their proximity to RIT, but take my word for it - stick with the Turkish items and you will not be disappointed! Our order included the 'sucuklu yumurta', which is basically eggs with Turkish sausages served in it's own metal pan, plus the bagel plate, and I had the 'tray' (the name of which I cannot remember) which came with hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese, tea, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and a roll. It was almost exactly the breakfast we had every morning in Turkey, except the fruit we had there was fresh and here it was a kind of preserve. The portions may seem a little small, but prices are very good, and I would definitely recommend getting more things than you think you need just so you can try more and ensure you will leave satisfied. We are looking forward to going back and eating more of the menu!

I am not sure what happened, but the menu we were given didn't have any of these cool, unique things on it. The place is pretty cool inside, with a lot of board games. There are video games too, but the Nintendo switch didn't seem to work. We ordered a cereal milkshake thing to start. It was okay. The blended cereal inside of it gave it an odd texture. My daughter asked for a Cinnabun, which is a Cinnamon Roll Waffle w/ Icing & Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It didn't have any Cinnamon Toast Crunch in or on it. I ordered a 2 Piece, which is a Cheese Stuffed Waffle Topped w/ 2 Pieces of Bacon & 2 Eggs. There was no cheese in it. I asked for poached eggs but they said they didn't know how to make them. I asked for over easy instead, but I don't think they knew how to make those either, because the yolks were hard and not runny. This place is a great and fun idea, but the food was executed poorly, and inaccurately. Even worse when it was 2 meals and a drink for one adult and one tiny child and it racked up to $40.

Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences. We spent 2.5 hours total at the restaurant. After waiting an excessive amount of time, we watched two tables that arrived at least an hour after us receive their food first. When we politely asked if our ticket might have been missed, we were told those tables ordered before us, which simply wasn't true. We were then told the delay was because burgers take a long time but a nearly two-hour wait for a burger is pretty wild. It took about 25 minutes just for someone to take our drink order, and we were never asked if we wanted additional drinks. We had to flag staff down for everything. No ketchup, no hot sauce, nothing offered. The $30 mimosa flight served in tiny glasses also felt like a complete scam. When the food finally came, two people in our party were served 15-20 minutes before the other two, and the food was cold. One dish had completely raw eggs. When I let the server know I couldn't eat it, she came back and removed the meal from the bill, which was appreciated. However, the interaction itself felt tense and dismissive, which made an already frustrating experience worse. They did give us a round of breakfast shots to try to help pass the time which was appreciated. The food itself was disappointing overall. The breakfast burrito was basically all eggs with raw, bitter avocado, and my husband's burger was missing requested toppings. We also noticed food sitting in the service window while we continued waiting. The only person who was happy with their meal got the biggie fries an it was hot when it arrived. To make matters worse, the bathroom was unheated on an 18° day (feels like 2°) and not clean. We're a pretty chill, patient group and understand that kitchens get backed up but man, this experience completely missed the mark. Ironically, the cooks thanked us for our patience and servers said goodbye pleasantly on the way out. We honestly may have let a lot of this go if the service hadn't felt so dismissive when we calmly raised concerns.

Our server, Ashley B, absolutely crushed it--attentive, friendly, and somehow always there exactly when we needed something without ever hovering. That kind of service really sets the tone. I had the Maggie with a classic mimosa, and it was brunch perfection. The vibe is another standout--quaint, cozy, and a little elevated since it's tucked inside the museum.
