Our waitress was amazing. Our drinks were served, and within minutes our appetizers were brought to the table. Within minutes, my salad came out. Before I could finish my salad, our dinners were brought to the table. She kept our cups filled with ice cold in house brewed tea with lemon. The food was absolutely piping, hot and full of flavor. Every bite became better than the last. Definitely adding to our list of favorite places for dinner. all of their desserts are made in house. They have an extensive dessert menu of which content, various ice cream options, fresh milkshakes, fruit, pies, and they even make in-house homemade rice pudding - Yum. My boyfriend got the peanut butter pie that was very decadent rich and truly delicious. I got the tiramisu to take home and it looks like heaven. Still too full from dinner to even be able to taste it. Will definitely be back.

Corned Beef Hash and Crab Cakes omelettes! Delicious! Top notch seasoning and flavor.

Blue Ridge Grill was amazing!!! The service (Debbie) was great. Ambiance was home-y. FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. Some of the best breakfast food we had in a while. Corned beef hash was fire, same with crab cake omelettes I mean what the heck! So much flavor and seasoning. Pairs great with orange juice. Omelettes came with home fries or hashbrowns and pancakes or French toast. I couldn't even try my boyfriends home fries or French toast because he literally ate everything in 10 minutes. Don't be afraid to get the corned beed hash as a side because honestly, it's a true game stopper. This restaurant makes me want to go back to Rochester. Loved it!

I've not been here in years and will not hurry back. Stopped in on a Sunday night around 6pm, they're open until 8pm. All the booths were taken but they had plenty of tables available. We were seated right away. Tammi came over, introduced herself and took our beverage order. She brought our drinks and then she disappeared. We saw her check on other tables and not look at us. She'd come out of the kitchen, grab something and go back again - at least 3 times! I finally asked the hostess if there was an issue or if we could have another server - it had been at least 15 minutes - and it was not a good sign. A minute later Tammi comes out apologizes, takes our order and said she'd get it right in. By then the place had emptied out so our food did come out quickly. Hubby's pork loin special was good, but the mashed potatoes were dry (even with gravy). My mom's roast turkey dinner was also good but they forgot the cranberry sauce and my mom didn't realize it until she was almost done. My salmon Mediterranean was delicious but the salmon was a bit overcooked, artichokes were very dry/burnt, and the sauce had way too much asiago . And they were out of rice pudding for dessert, sigh... Lackluster meal and mediocre service. I will give it another try one day, but not anytime soon.

We went to the blue ridge grill on Sunday morning for breakfast and again we got lucky and got a booth. However I will say the booths don't seem to be as sturdy as they should be. And the place was starting to get really crowded and loud. But anyway the waitress who was pleasant and talkative came to the table rather quickly and took our drink & food order. We both got ice water with lemon and coffee along with our breakfast mine was eggs, toast and home fries. No complaints the food was good.

The restaurant has been renovated since I last visited. It has a large dining area with mostly booths with tall dividers which is nice for reducing Covid/sickness this time of year and quieter/more private eating spaces. They did have a handful of tables available. Bathrooms consist of 2 large single stall bathrooms (a men's and a women's). The service was friendly and quick, we came in right when they opened around 7am on Black Friday. The food was good and cheap amongst our group of 4. Would definitely stop in again.

Despite that I keep thinking about what I want to try next time I go. The atmosphere, scale and feel of the dining room is fantastic. It sort of feels like a Rochester version of Cheers. I love that they had all the doors open and the beautiful summer evening climate was enjoyable whether you sat inside or outside. This meant dealing with a few gnats or flies at our indoor table. I started with a Caesar side salad which was very good. The entrees we had were Salmon and Chicken Riggies. The Chicken RIggies were great. Not spicy at all but made-to-order so it could be made spicy. The pasta was perfectly tender but firm, the diced chicken was flavorful and easy to eat. It was THE most successful Chicken Riggie dish I've tried to date anywhere and I took the leftovers home to enjoy for lunch the next day, a rarity for me. The salmon was not a hit. It seemed pretty fishy especially in the areas that were thinner and had become chewier from the grill drying it out. What they call roasted corn is really 'chili powder roasted corn'. The chili powder flavor was quite pronounced and not very well integrated into the dish. It tasted like very ordinary corn with very ordinary chili powder sprinkled on it. I'm sure that isn't how the dish is made but that's what it tasted like. The Cheesy Eddie's carrot cake was absolutely perfect and tasted like it was just made. It's hard to defend the pricing. Our 2 entrees, 1 side salad, 1 soft drink and 2 small glasses of wine and 1 piece of carrot cake ended up being 145 dollars after tax and tip. If the wine pour had been a nice 9 ounce pour I would have had a single glass but I had 2 because they were small. Even with 1 wine this was going to be WELL over 100 dollars for 2 people even before tip. In any head-to-head comparison with something like The Distillery or Genesee Brew House, this pricing is probably out of line. If we go back, it will be with great appreciation for the setting and modest expectations for the food.

We ordered the panzanella salad, street corn, and a large, shareable ribeye with potatoes. Everything was superb--truly excellent. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was romantic and low-key, and the entire experience was outstanding. They struck the perfect balance of making us feel celebrated without being over the top. For dessert, we had the funfetti cake, which was absolutely divine. I look forward to trying from the fall and winter menus as well. I'll definitely be trying a dessert next time. Their s'mores one and funfetti cake both sounded delicious. I was too full from the appetizers and dinner to attempt a third course.

I've been there a few times, but it's been a few years. My wife had never gone there, so I thought it'd be nice to introduce her to the place. It was a nice warm night so they had the doors open and everybody pretty much was sitting outside. They have a lot of tables outside - some on the patio and a whole bunch out on the lawn. It's a very family friendly place, with games to play out on the lawn for the kids and adults. They have a decent menu of sandwiches burgers and the usual appetizers/starters. I wasn't that hungry so believe it or not. I ordered off of the kids menu! The burgers were huge. They were double patties and I didn't think I needed that. So I ordered the chicken strips/chicken fingers which came with their potato differs, which are like thin potato wedges. You had your choice of sauces so I got barbecue and lime Crema. Both were really good. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and could only eat part of it because it was huge too. It also came with the potato dippers. She liked what she had of it! So there is a farm that is part of Blue Barn Cidery and they just harvest it a whole bunch of blueberries so they are selling blueberry confections in their gift shop. When you first walk in you walk right through the gift shop which sells honey and candles and T-shirts, etc. They have a whole bunch of choices of cider, but I'm more of a beer guy so I got my favorite, which is Other Half Green City IPA. My wife hasn't been drinking, but she absolutely loves root beer and they have Saranac root beer there so she was happy. It was a very relaxing place to have some dinner and a drink and listen to some music outside. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back.
