Our waitress was amazing. Our drinks were served, and within minutes our appetizers were brought to the table. Within minutes, my salad came out. Before I could finish my salad, our dinners were brought to the table. She kept our cups filled with ice cold in house brewed tea with lemon. The food was absolutely piping, hot and full of flavor. Every bite became better than the last. Definitely adding to our list of favorite places for dinner. all of their desserts are made in house. They have an extensive dessert menu of which content, various ice cream options, fresh milkshakes, fruit, pies, and they even make in-house homemade rice pudding - Yum. My boyfriend got the peanut butter pie that was very decadent rich and truly delicious. I got the tiramisu to take home and it looks like heaven. Still too full from dinner to even be able to taste it. Will definitely be back.

Corned Beef Hash and Crab Cakes omelettes! Delicious! Top notch seasoning and flavor.

Blue Ridge Grill was amazing!!! The service (Debbie) was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was home-y.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. Some of the best breakfast food we had in a while. Corned beef hash was fire, same with crab cake omelettes I mean what the heck! So much flavor and seasoning. Pairs great with orange juice. Omelettes came with home fries or hashbrowns and pancakes or French toast. I couldn't even try my boyfriends home fries or French toast because he literally ate everything in 10 minutes. Don't be afraid to get the corned beed hash as a side because honestly, it's a true game stopper. This restaurant makes me want to go back to Rochester. Loved it!

I've not been here in years and will not hurry back. Stopped in on a Sunday night around 6pm, they're open until 8pm. All the booths were taken but they had plenty of tables available. We were seated right away. Tammi came over, introduced herself and took our beverage order. She brought our drinks and then she disappeared. We saw her check on other tables and not look at us. She'd come out of the kitchen, grab something and go back again - at least 3 times! I finally asked the hostess if there was an issue or if we could have another server - it had been at least 15 minutes - and it was not a good sign. A minute later Tammi comes out apologizes, takes our order and said she'd get it right in. By then the place had emptied out so our food did come out quickly. Hubby's pork loin special was good, but the mashed potatoes were dry (even with gravy). My mom's roast turkey dinner was also good but they forgot the cranberry sauce and my mom didn't realize it until she was almost done. My salmon Mediterranean was delicious but the salmon was a bit overcooked, artichokes were very dry/burnt, and the sauce had way too much asiago . And they were out of rice pudding for dessert, sigh... Lackluster meal and mediocre service. I will give it another try one day, but not anytime soon.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We went to the blue ridge grill on Sunday morning for breakfast and again we got lucky and got a booth.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However I will say the booths don't seem to be as sturdy as they should be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the place was starting to get really crowded and loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But anyway the waitress who was pleasant and talkative came to the table rather quickly and took our drink & food order. We both got ice water with lemon and coffee along with our breakfast mine was eggs, toast and home fries. No complaints the food was good.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has been renovated since I last visited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a large dining area with mostly booths with tall dividers which is nice for reducing Covid/sickness this time of year and quieter/more private eating spaces.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They did have a handful of tables available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathrooms consist of 2 large single stall bathrooms (a men's and a women's).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was friendly and quick, we came in right when they opened around 7am on Black Friday. The food was good and cheap amongst our group of 4. Would definitely stop in again.

It is beyond obvious the amount of time he has spent (and spends) cooking to make his already delicious food even more so using only traditional ingredients from Belgium. I also greatly appreciate all of the attention to detail; especially the quality of the fruit even when it's not in season. Thank you. Furthermore, I love that it's a house. It's quaint and brilliant to start small when starting a new venture. All of the staff was kind and gracious. Thank you again. On a separate note...I am utterly disgusted by the amount of negativity and ugliness in some of these reviews. Yes, we are are all entitled to our opinions. However, when you walk through someone else's front door you are entering the heart and soul of them. It is just sad that some have nothing else to do with their time than to just be negative. I, for one cannot fathom how brave and challenging it is to own a restaurant. I wish that some of the gloomy pessimistic unfavorable weak internet bullies would give it a try. Until then stay in your lane! Cheers for these waffles, kindness & grace.

The majority of the menu is Turkish, and they are using authentic ingredients either imported from Turkey, or from the region. Our food was yummy and very reminiscent of the breakfasts we enjoyed when we were traveling. First, this place is in a strip mall and may not be easy to spot; second it's small, and despite their efforts to jazz up the interior with themed seating areas, it has a very take-out sort of vibe; and third, there are other things on the menu that I'm guessing they offer because of their proximity to RIT, but take my word for it - stick with the Turkish items and you will not be disappointed! Our order included the 'sucuklu yumurta', which is basically eggs with Turkish sausages served in it's own metal pan, plus the bagel plate, and I had the 'tray' (the name of which I cannot remember) which came with hard boiled eggs, fruit, cheese, tea, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and a roll. It was almost exactly the breakfast we had every morning in Turkey, except the fruit we had there was fresh and here it was a kind of preserve. The portions may seem a little small, but prices are very good, and I would definitely recommend getting more things than you think you need just so you can try more and ensure you will leave satisfied. We are looking forward to going back and eating more of the menu!

I am not sure what happened, but the menu we were given didn't have any of these cool, unique things on it. The place is pretty cool inside, with a lot of board games. There are video games too, but the Nintendo switch didn't seem to work. We ordered a cereal milkshake thing to start. It was okay. The blended cereal inside of it gave it an odd texture. My daughter asked for a Cinnabun, which is a Cinnamon Roll Waffle w/ Icing & Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It didn't have any Cinnamon Toast Crunch in or on it. I ordered a 2 Piece, which is a Cheese Stuffed Waffle Topped w/ 2 Pieces of Bacon & 2 Eggs. There was no cheese in it. I asked for poached eggs but they said they didn't know how to make them. I asked for over easy instead, but I don't think they knew how to make those either, because the yolks were hard and not runny. This place is a great and fun idea, but the food was executed poorly, and inaccurately. Even worse when it was 2 meals and a drink for one adult and one tiny child and it racked up to $40.

Call ahead or hop on OpenTable, because walking in without a plan means you'll probably be waiting... and trust me, this place is worth the hype. From the moment we sat down, everything felt spot on. Our server, Ashley B, absolutely crushed it--attentive, friendly, and somehow always there exactly when we needed something without ever hovering. That kind of service really sets the tone. Food and drinks? Incredible. My husband went for the chicken and waffles paired with a whiskey sour--perfect balance of savory and sweet with a cocktail that hit just right. I had the Maggie with a classic mimosa, and it was brunch perfection. The vibe is another standout--quaint, cozy, and a little elevated since it's tucked inside the museum. It feels like a hidden gem but with a lively energy. And if you've got any room left (big if), they carry Cheesy Eddie's desserts... which is basically your sign to loosen that belt a notch and go for it. Already planning our next visit.

We came here for their Easter brunch buffet, so I can't speak to the normal quality and service…read more The Brown Hound had one of the more affordable Easter brunches in town, and while the menu wasn't posted when I called to make reservations, it sounded good. Once they posted it, it was a little less impressive, but at that point, we were committed. I will say that it wasn't the most efficient dining experiences. They didn't have online reservations, so I did have to call in. When we arrived, about 15 minutes early, they weren't ready to check guests in, so we sat down to wait. The manager came around to ask how many were in your party, and tell you which line to use to check in - they had 2 seating areas and 2 check ins based on party size, I guess. Then we had to check in and pay, but this didn't include drinks, so we still had to pay again before we left. The buffet itself was fine, there was a barbeque station that smelled pretty good, and a breakfast station that was OK. Vegetarian options were very limited. I had homefries and some scrambled eggs, neither of which was hot when I got them. There were sugar waffles, which were really good, and some fruit, several breakfast meats (I don't eat beef or pork), and some garlic parm chicken that looked good, but was incredibly overcooked, so neither of us ate it. Barbeque was only beef or pork, so I had salad and some of the mac and cheese, which was pretty good. There were some mini desserts - OK mini cannoli's, a pretty good chocolate cake, and some carrot cake that my guy ate while I was away, so I assume was good! I believe the desserts got picked over pretty fast and were not all replaced. Condiments were in plastic squeeze bottles at the end of the buffet line, and coffee extras were all disposable as well. So, it was fine, and the guy was full and happy at the end, but I was not super impressed and ate mostly salad comprised of lettuce, cucumber, and croutons.
