I've had The Cooper Sub here twice. It's the best sub I've ever had, ever. They are located in The I-Square establishment in Irondequoit. The service is great. They're very helpful and friendly. Short wait time and you definitely get your moneys worth, as well. read more

If you order from them, be sure to double, triple check your order. We've been shorted on take out repeatedly- missing drinks, missing fries etc. And, when I raised a concern about this to staff it was a shoulder shrug response. Last week, I ordered a turkey Rueben that was just turkey and cheese, no sauerkraut or dressing. Honestly, at this point, it is unlikely we will go back. read more

Very disappointed in our experience last night. Came to listen to the Rochester symphony in the park. Grabbed a table on the rooftop to enjoy the evening. Ordered a burger and tots at Market Grill. Was told 30 min wait. Ok, no problem. At 30 min go down to check on it, they said it's going to be another 45 min. Wow 1.5 hours for a burger... it better be worth the wait. At 45 minutes the burger is ready. Ordered it medium done. The burger is so raw it's not even edible to a person that orders rare. This thing is raw! Ate the tots with the bad seasoning on them, tossed the burger!! I get it, it's busy! But come on. read more

This restaurant is located inside of I-Square establishment in Irondequoit. This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I enjoyed it. I had their corn beef sandwich which came with homemade chips and a speared pickle. The sandwich was good despite the $10.00 price tag but tasted worth it. The chips that they provided were tasteless and without flavor. I chose not to finish eating them in lieu of saving my taste buds. I prefer the I-Square establishment because they offer free EVSE for those with an electric vehicle. Also, for those who need it, they offer wifi too. read more

The Market Grill - Store front - Burgers Near Me - Rochester, New York

This is the third restaurant that opened in the I-Square market. It sits in-between Hong Kong One Chinese Restaurant and the Pasta Cucina (which will open soon). The menus are on TVs but they also have the menu on the counter by the register. I love the variety, not too much to choose from but i love the selections and its a good amount of selections at decent prices. i chose the Bistro Burger which had bacon, dijon mayonnaise, arugula, and egg. it had so much flavor and it was a pretty good size. kettle chips and a pickle came with it. we got a side order of sweet potato fries which was also really good. my boyfriend got the bbq chicken sandwich which had bacon, bbq, arugula lettuce, and balsamic glaze. he said it was delicious and also a great size. we were so full. the atmosphere was nice; a little loud, but to be expected. the layout will make it that way since the table and chairs are spread throughout the building. kinda acts like a food court in a mall, but nicer. once you're done eating your meal just head to the i-scream place. I will definitely return to try the other things on the menu. read more

Sorry, not a great experience! After having to interrupt an in depth conversation between the FOH and BOH staff so that I could place an order, I decided on the BLT. The bacon was chewy to the point of inedible without a bit of crunch. The single piece of lettuce was limp and tasteless however the tomato was surprisingly fresh and tasty and the bread was toasted to perfection. The tater tots were sublime! I'll be back to Pasta Cucina because they deliver consistently delicious meals. read more

Great looking food. The food came in a timely fashion. I ordered for my sister and she seemed to enjoy(she's disabled).

Unfortunately after several times coming here, the staff and preparing food are still struggling. Wait times are obnoxiously long and orders need to be corrected. Sad , because we really like I-square , but service and cleanliness have really gone down hill read more

Our go to is the BLT and the buffalo chicken wrap. Their homemade chips are tasty too, they have this seasoning mix on them. The cost of the items are a bit higher but the portions are large so it is reasonable in that perspective. read more

It is so nice to have a great ice cream shop in Irondequoit again! This store is part of the I-Square complex (hence its name). They have lots of varieties of hard & soft serve ice cream. One unique variety is madrigal mint--it is chocolate ice cream with a mint flavor and crushed Oreos mixed in. There are all kinds of toppings and they make milkshakes too. This store has been a big hit with residents of Irondequoit. Lots of locals stop by to celebrate after their kids' sports games, concerts, recitals, etc. There is a rooftop terrace with a nice view where you can relax with your ice cream. Or you can enjoy a free outdoor concert at the nearby stage in the summer (check I-Square's website for dates). read more

Market Grill is located within I-Square and serves burgers, fries, soup, quesadillas, and a variety of hot sandwiches. I have been here numerous times and each time I've had the quesadilla and fries, they've been spot on awesome. The burgers are a different story. My friends, family, and I have been happy for the most part but the burgers tend to be served dry and overcooked every once in a while. All of the restaurants within I-Square have been consistent but Market Grill has not. I love their food but this can be quite annoying, especially when you're borderline hangry for a solid burger and fries meal. I've tried checking to see if the inconsistency is due to specific chefs but I haven't had any luck in figuring it out. Hopefully I can provide an improved updated review in the future but I'm going to have to stick with 3 stars for now. read more

As a big guy I can eat a lot of food and I always tap out half way into the second half. The sandwich also comes with possibly the best home cut chips I've had. I remember when these guys opened. Not sure who was cooking then but the food was awesome, order a medium burger get a great medium burger. My how the standards have fallen, give these guys chances time after time, got a fish fry tonight took a very long time and the portion as very small for 12 dollars. Got a burger couple weeks ago with soggy wilted lettuce cooked well done, asked for medium. Wish those standards they opened with would come back cause this is pathetic read more

The burgers at Market Grill are not only the best in Rochester, they are the best I've ever had. I always get the Pub Burger (crumbly bleu and grilled onions) and my wife gets the Market burger. We always get them cooked Medium. They are absolutely spectacular. Cooked to perfection, juicy, flavorful and BIG. Not even joking around I would eat one every damn day. They're fries are really tasty too but I'd rather get 2 burgers instead of a burger and fries (although I never have pulled the trigger on that one). read more

The market grill is my favorite of all the food choices at I-square. I have had their bbq chicken sandwich several times and although messy it is delicious. The fries are also really thin the way I like them but a little too salty. My husband really loves the tuna sandwich as well. The best time to go is in the warmer months where you can enjoy your food on the rooftop garden area. read more

This place is surprisingly good! It's located in a food court-like space across the house of guitar. I had the regular burger, which came with chips. The burger was juicy and cooked to my liking. Tasted really good for a regular burger with no fancy fixings. The chips that came with it looks homemade and was sooo yummy. My bf also got the side winder fries. Omg these were just delicious! I'm still not sure what I-Square is or what it's doing here. I can't tell if it reminds me of a mall food court or an airport concourse, but one thing is for sure: the restaurants it contains are fast-casual dining at it's finest. My favorite is the Market Grill. Behind the modest, no-nonsense counter are created sandwich masterpieces. Wraps made with crispy fried chicken and fresh vegetables are wrapped tight to ensure that there are no surprises should you need to eat while driving. Burgers are juicy and come in several creative styles, and even the humble hot dog gets the royal treatment: no less than a plump Zweigles red hot is charbroiled and served on a fresh grilled and buttered roll with house chips--this is a treat not to be passed up. Don't forget to take your meal up to the rooftop so you can enjoy the sprawling view of, uh... Titus Avenue? Well, at least the food is good! read more

Not a bad burger place. They're by no means gourmet but if you're looking for a quick sit down place with other options (Chinese or pasta next door) this might be for you. Everything tasted good. Frys are cut pretty small but tasty, onion rings good, burgers aren't bad. Love, love love the burgers. The home made potato chips are soo delish! If you're looking for a real burger, not one of those paper thin ones, then this is the place to go. The mac and cheese is to die for. They will Make EVERYTHING made to order. The second time I ordered mac and cheese, I requested only bacon! Real comfort food. My hubby and I escaped one Saturday afternoon, ordered a burger while sitting at the wine bar. I enjoyed my glass of wine, he enjoyed his beer. PERFECT! We are looking forward to returning. What's also nice Is that you can go there quick for takeout, run in quick and eat and leave if you don't have lots of time. Or stay for a few hours in their cozy chairs. We also went with my woman's group one evening. Everyone individually ordered their own food. We all sat at the large table in the wine bar. The food was served to us all from the different restaurants. We all ate at the same time. Chinesse, Italian and grill. Everyone was happy!
