Like the old adage goes, you are what you eat! As someone who is very selective about what I put in my body, I am often conflicted about eating out due to the prevalence of unhealthy food options that are littered across the American landscape. Thankfully, businesses such as Corelife Eatery have altered the status quo and provide health conscious patrons with viable options that won't fuel a guilt trip or lead to illness. I decided to stop in to the Mentor location as I had a gift card that was collecting dust in my wallet. The first thing that stood out was the sheer variety of nutritious toppings such as rice, beans, noodles, and an assortment of vegetables, broth bowls, soups, and even tacos! I opted for the 'Build Your Own Bowl' and got thai noodles with tofu and some vegetables mixed in. What an amazing compilation of flavors! There are simply too many good options here to not be impressed. I will be back for more. Your body, your life - Core Life!

Stopped here for a quick dinner. Had the spicy chicken Thai salad. It was tasty, fresh and quick.

Not a five and a generous four. The organic fast food concept is in and of itself amazing. However to keep prices very reasonable they hire kids who are not exactly invested. Their prep of food is often careless. They have to be reminded that you asked for double chicken routinely, which is a good example of staff's frequently-encountered inattention. They close at nine pm. I know with working out I tend to get their late. But as early as 8 pm I have been urged by staff to take my food in plastic "to go" containers even though I would prefer to sit in a booth for a half hour. Something about sitting in a restaurant and being urged to eat out of plastic containers and to use plastic utensils is a turn off. If you voice your objection, it is met with a sigh or a long look because someone doesn't want to wash an extra bowl or a spoon. So the enjoyment of stopping by is compromised by the inability to have things prepared the customary way. The customary way is not favored by a young staff itching to get out of work. Core Life has great potential. But their managers, if one is on duty, do not appear to be keeping an eye on whether customers are content. That is CL's biggest wrinkle. Great food nonetheless.

5 stars....5 stars...5stars!!!! My first time getting food from here and it most certainly will not be the last. Food was absolutely delicious. All of it. We ordered spicy chicken warm rice bowl and a pick 2 that consisted of small ranch flank steak bowl and cup of broccoli cheddar soup. So filling!!! If this is healthy eating then sign me up!!!!

Great food if you eat in, but ordering from the app is laughable. So DON'T skip the line by ordering through the app--go ahead and stand in line. It will be much faster.

This place is trash!!! Everything was completely frozen and the workers were so rude and rushed us. Never coming back again

The Chipotle of Health Food . Whatever food preference or intolerance you may have they've got you covered. The food is delicious and you don't feel guilty indulging in this giant bowl of greatness. Also the unique iced teas and lemonades are incredible.

They are generally very good. Just a piece of advise. Watch them make your bowl. I always ask for double protein (chicken in my case) and every time including today I've had to remind them. "It's double chicken"! Otherwise they put once scoop. It's getting a little annoying since all they have to do it read the ticket. But they don't.

Always good and fresh. They had live music on my last visit. Healthy choices and the free slice of grain bread is a nice touch.

They had a great selection of food, apps, drinks, entrees, i mean everything! We all shared and we all enjoyed everything we ordered. The truffle addition was our favorite, we love anything truffle. We ended up speaking with the owner and he was very friendly and personable and you can tell his employees like working there. So glad we chose this place!

Servers are still quick, pleasant, & attentive. The food is still very good. What brings my rating…read moredown from 5 to 4 stars is the wait to be seated. First, there really is no seating while waiting for a table. Second, the hostess underestimated our wait time. We were told 20 minutes when it actually took 45 minutes. To be fair, I don't entirely blame her. When I mentioned how long we had been waiting, she apologized for being understaffed. EVERY PLACE seems to have the same problem so I get it. But what the real issue may be for Ridgewood Kitchen is an ability to be even semi-accurate in how long it will take a table to turn over. There were three elderly couples seated at a table when we arrived. They had clearly finished their meals & were conversing. They did so for another hour & forty-five minutes! How can a restaurant deal with that?!? Ridgewood Kitchen is still a great choice for food & table service. Just be aware the wait time for a table may be considerably longer than quoted.

My friends received complimentary house salads. I wish I had gotten that. I had the chicken Marsala which was great, but pasta was bland. Would have been better paired with a mashed potato. I also ordered the braised beef ravioli. The sauce lacked flavor. It was a little better with salt and pepper added.

A friend and I visited on a Thursday evening, the restaurant was small, quaint and cozy, with a steady stream of customers. There is a small bar. We were warmly greeted upon entering and immediately seated. Our server, Domenic, approached our table a short time later. He explained the menu, letting us know that bread and salad were included with our entrees. We proceeded to order cocktails, wine and a yummy pomegranate spritz. I ordered the chicken parmesan, my friend ordered the chicken marsala. Our salads and bread basket arrived quickly. The salad was generous, freshly made and tasty. The bread was fresh, served with a olive oil, infused with balsamic vinegar. Our entrees arrived just as we finished our salads, perfect timing. The chicken parmesan was prepared and plated nicely. The chicken was tender, seasoned, and topped with cheese and marinara, on top of penned pasta. The chicken was tasty. The pasta was a bit overcooked, for me. The marinara was a bit bland. I ate the chicken and skipped most of the pasta. My friend's Marsala was plated well, lots of mushrooms, but she commented that the entree was somewhat bland. The best part of the visit was our server, Domenic, he was attentive and friendly. Overall the meal was good, I would visit again, but this won't be my go-to Italian restaurant.
