The cheesecake and Nutella around the donuts really made it like a yummy dessert. The donuts were a bit dense for us and tasted much better when we reheated as leftovers. My dad brought me here for breakfast. We came early around 8:15 am. I was impressed with the pot of coffee brought to the table for the two of us. It was excellent coffee ! We both ordered the turkey sausage and biscuits breakfast. I ended up taking home one of the biscuits and potatoes. It was really tasty. Our server checked in on us at a comfortable time pace. My friend and I came here for breakfast recently. When we walked in, we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. We were told they were short staffed and unfortunately you could tell they were. The staff were still pretty efficient given the circumstances. This location has a small bar area and those seats are first come, first served. The 20 minute wait ended up being about 45 minutes. Once we were seated, our waitress came over quickly. I ordered a kale tonic juice and the BLT Benedict. I hadn't been to a first watch in quite some time, so I didn't have any expectations. Our drinks and food arrived quickly and everything was really fresh and delicious. Overall, our experience was good. I just hope they get hire more staff soon! read more

Even after several changes to our reservation, Adele, the manager, was incredibly patient and accommodating. Our server, Hannah W., and the entire staff were friendly and attentive. UPDATE: I really enjoy coming here and come here frequently since they opened. I am a regular at the one in Mayfield and usually go there but decided to order out from the Willoughby one today by placing an order on the phone. I had my dog with me at the time of pick up and didn't want to leave her in the car by herself so I had called the restaurant asking them if they could please bring my food to my car - they agreed and I had told them the make, model, and color of my car and was very grateful they could accommodate me and my pup. However, 20 minutes goes by and I called and asked them if they were still bringing my food out for me to my car and another women picked up after my phone rang for a long time and said okay yes the girl couldn't find you - which I find odd since I was parked outside in the parking lot at the time I had called her. Then the lady on the phone gets snippy and she's like you know you have to pay right. And I was like uh yeah I was going to give you cash or I can give you my card details. (I was going to let them keep the change for being helpful) and she's like no you would need to come inside to get your change and I can't take card over the phone. Ridiculous. I used to work at a cafe myself and this is common protocol for most cafes. Also the food was cold at this time and I told her that and she's like now you want me to remake it for you and I said to cancel the order instead. It would've been nice to at least give me a call to tell me you couldn't find me or actually come out to the parking lot and look for my car. This business has put me in a sour mood today and I didn't even get my lunch. Normally, I do not like leaving reviews on chain restaurants. But I will for this one, considering I did not expect to find a first watch in Cleveland. At first watch, you get what you pay for. This restaurant is the epitome of quality over quantity. Everything is always delicious! The food is hot, the servings are appropriate. my only regret was, I did not get the lunch special which is what my sister ordered. Her turkey sandwich looked amazing! Do not order delivery from this location. They NEVER include butter, syrup, or the promised and never delivered berry compote. I actually called the store today to personally request these items be included with our breakfast and still they weren't included. A $70 breakfast no one wanted to eat. I will preface with I went the second weekend they were open so of course they were swamped. We had about a 30-minute wait for a 2 top. They do have quite a few waiting benches, which are nice. They have a cute bar with stools, tables, or booths to choose from. It's a very bright, fun atmosphere. It is one of those places where you aren't assigned one server, and everyone just helps out. Everyone was friendly, but a few things slipped through the cracks (refills, a box, water). I think that will probably work itself out when they aren't so busy. The coffees were dessert in a cup but I loved it. We tried the mint mocha and the caramel honey one, and both were delicious! I wanted to order a second, but we didn't get a server in time. Our food was also delicious. We were both impressed with the quality of the food, and it did not take long at all. I ordered the chicki-changa on the breakfast side with breakfast potatoes. He ordered the roast beef sandwich with the salad. The horseradish sauce that comes with it was really good! I have been to First Watch several times, each and every visit, the eggs get to the table cold. They try to "gourmet" every dish instead of making each and all genuinely delicious and authentic, e.g.: Got the avocado toast: YAIKS, NOOOO! so much bad guacamole on top of a soggy toast? and two eggs on the side ( COLD). It's a very popular restaurant in USA, however it's like all fast food, starts good but the process and end is not really great for the price. Coffee , hmmm pretty acid , and service....nothng special. The whole experience pretty platic, CANE ASADA breakfast tacos....really good for a doggie. Food was good, ambiance is fine. The waitress appeared with our check and said we could pay via ApplePay. Great, I did that. I thankfully had the foresight to email myself a receipt. Right after I paid, a different waitress (who was NOT our waitress) appeared and said my payment only authorized for partial payment because she was "splitting the bill". I pulled up the receipt and credit card charge and both showed the full amount. She kept insisting I owed another $30, but would send over the manager. Mind you, my family was ready to go. So we waited and waited and no manager ever came over. So then we asked our original waitress for a manager. She asked why, and I explained. She went to talk to the second waitress who said I owed money. After a few minutes, suddenly the second waitress (again, not our original waitress) said it was all figured out and the manager would cover the missing charge for us. The manager never ever approached our table or ever said anything to us. My credit card was charged the full amount of the check and has cleared any pending charges...so what happened here? This second waitress thought she would get an extra $30 out of me? Just pay attention to your charges if you go here and 100% get a receipt for everything. We won't be back and we won't recommend this establishment to anyone. read more
