Decent all upscale All American restaurant. The seating is very intimate and the decor is pleasant. We tried the Ahi salad which was fresh and delicious and very filling. We started with the Sriracha Queso Dip with Piranha® Pale Ale Chili. When it was delivered it was just plain queso (and honestly tasted like it was right out of a can). Asked the waitress about the "chili" that was a main ingredient and she was confused. Manager was confused - said they changed menus and didn't know this was a new item w the chili included in the description. They were all very pleasant in explaining the mix-up. Our waitress just brought us out a side of chili, but probably important to review your menu if it's new. I ordered the spicy peanut chicken with soba noodles and it was pretty good. Nice flavor. We ordered dinner and dessert for delivery directly from BJ's app and it was anything but enjoyable. Food took 30 minutes to arrive after driver picked up and we live 10 minutes from the restaurant. I called and spoke with the manager named tara who said she would remove delivery charges and then called back after receiving a cold food but at that point she suddenly became unavailable but whoever answered the phone said tara would call me back or email me credit but after 3 days I received nothing and then got a finalized credit card charge for the entire amount including the delivery which of course I am disputing now. BJ's has always been a favorite, but after my latest visit on 9/27. I will be hard pressed to go back. The server was very personable but the food was AWEFUL!!! 1. Fries came out cold. Asked for hot fries and it was obvious the fries were thrown back in the oil to heat up. 2. The chicken sandwich was served on burnt toast. The burnt toast ruined the flavor of the sandwich. 3. The classic personal pizza was literally four globs of dough, not even smoothed out and way too much cheese. It is hard to ruin a pizza, but the cook managed to do this. The server did take our drinks off our check, but it was too little too late. The ambiance was good, but just not enough to go back. Great experience with a group of seven ladies. We're pretty picky and Ruban attended our table perfectly. Wonderful service. Even great food despite one person complaining. Replace the meal. Walked in on a Saturday night with wife, we sat at the bar. No exaggeration, 20 minutes went by, and not a single person even acknowledged our existence. Walked out. Listen, if the bartenders were shortstaffed, overwhelmed by drink orders, etc, that's understandable. Would it have been so card for any of them to just say, "Hey you guys, oh my God, we're so sorry, we're slammed right now, it may be another x minutes before we get to you." Celebrating my anniversary. Wanted to order the $13 Pizookie mini pizza dinner but they were ALL OUT of mini pizzas. Settled for a cheeseburger which was adequate but not great. My wife ordered a mixed drink that cost more than her dinner. My bloody Mary had 3 olives dumped in the glass rather than suspended on a skewer which made the last few swallows taste like an olive instead of tomato mix. Our server was pleasant and attentive, and she apologized for being out of pizzas, and for the olives being dumped in the glass, but that didn't change the problems. My wife and I stopped by last Wednesday November 14th. The staff was great. The food sucked. My wife's Chicken Alfredo dish didn't have any Alfredo sauce just cheese. The chicken was overcooked,the noodles were cold. The over all dish was bad. My burger had no taste and it was dry as a bone. The fries were old. The avocado appetizer was fair. We ate what we could. You would think that an $86.00 meal would taste better. It didn't. We're not coming back to a once nice restaurant. Applebee's is better. The food is hot and fresh. And it is cheaper. Our server was also really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I loved their clam chowder, no complaints there. The chili nachos were ok, but the serving size was way bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. And the fried cous cous balls were so delicious, I just wish they gave more cheese sauce with it. And pizookies are always A+. The monkey bread one is my favorite and the fudge brownie is pretty good. But I was not a big fan of the strawberry shortcake one. read more

I like this place, I compare it to Applebees and Fridays. The food is always solid, my friend who enjoys beers thinks the beer selection is next level. The big thing for me is the desert, you need to save room for the pizookie! I'd go just for this, a warm cookie and scoops of ice cream on top. Historically this restaurant has been pretty solid- I like the ease of use on the app and the take out having an easy access place to pick up food. My hubby ordered a steak, I forget what kind. It came with mediocre mashed potatoes and a mediocre Ceasar salad. I think they need to jazz it up a bit with those 2 items. And the beer! Wow! Took a long time to be seated even though restaurant was not crowded. Dirty dishes were left on adjacent tables around us and the sides with one of our dishes came out with items we didn't order. The waitress appeared to be overworked while many of the staff did not appear busy. The person at the front taking reservations was sitting back texting on her phone along with another employee while some of the staff were struggling to get everything done. No teamwork was evident. Not a good experience. Things don't appear to be coordinated and organized very well. I see this as a lack of training and leadership from management. Calamari was over cooked and we asked several of the staff for a lemon wedge which took about 15 minutes. Pizookies are freshly baked cookies topped with toppings such as ice cream, caramel, chocolate chips, etc. The toppings depend on the pizookie you choose. I loved the atmosphere. They have lighting on the shelves behind the bar where the alcohol bottles sit. They have their own brewed beers. I was excited to see they also had A cider - berry burst cider. It was light and refreshing. Not too sour and not too sweet - just perfect for my palate. We had the spinach stuffed mushrooms, broccoli cheddar soup, Mahi mahi tacos with fries, brisket bacon burger with honey Sirracha Brussels sprouts, and salted Carmel pizookie for dessert. The mushrooms were a great starter. The soup was ok I actually prefer Paneras broccoli cheddar. The fries I LOVED! Double fried ... crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife and I decided to split a full rack of baby back ribs with a side of creamy couscous Mac and cheese and a side of steamed broccoli. The ribs were phenomenal, the Best I had in a long time. They were done to perfection, Juicy, full of flavor. The real surprise was the creamy couscous Mac and cheese. That was mind blowing. I would order that every time.
