I think this place is so cute and trendy. They offer bowls, salad, or broth! They do have a lot of options, so picking one thing can feel a little overwhelming. I got the curry broth and really enjoyed it. They allow you to substitute anything in the ingredient list for something else if you would like. They also have homemade drinks that are really delicious. I got the tropical green tea- it was unsweetened! My friend for their cayenne lemonade and absolutely fell in love. I will definitely be back to explore more of their menu! read more

Good fresh food but I question the cleanliness. Several of the metal tins that hold the various toppings had caked on food residue that appeared days old (blackened and hardened) and the food prep area in general looked like it needed a good wipe down. The seating area was also dirty even though we were the first customers of the day several of the tables had not been cleaned from the day before and the floors also had pieces of food everywhere. read more

This is an update from my last review and I'm now giving them 4 stars instead of 3. The new bowls they are offering add a great new variety to their menu. My only complaint is that the dishes and broth bowls themselves are kind of small for a portion sizes almost to the point where you won't get full on a single meal. But what I will say is that there are usually pretty lenient to add extra ingredients into your bowl which makes things all right at that point. read more

Not bad, just average. Does not compare to Red Leaf. Red Leaf has more topping choices, better proteins and is super fresh. Build a bowl comes in two sizes and you get only 4 toppings. An egg is extra. They don't chop your salad and the dressings are super high in calories. I ordered the big bowl and didn't finish it, a lot of greens. Red Leaf has one size and it's enough for two meals. It's worth taking home. They also have noodle bowls and maybe they're good, but didn't try them. I'll stick to Red Leaf. Yuck, a floating salad in tasteless broth. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and new. But that food, ugh, wife and I tried to eat it, or drink it...whatever you are supposed to do with it. I would rank this as one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. I don't know which came first, corelife or redleaf, but corelife seems to me to just be a cheap, lazy, redleaf knock off. I have been to redleaf multiple times and have always had an enjoyable experience, so I figured I would give corelife a shot, (big mistake) The staff was very disinterested in helping up, there is barely any add on worth choosing from. Nothing was chopped up so you deal with a bowl of overgrown weeds and grass. On top of that you can't get a normal dressing, I don't want fancy cashew, lemon, Thai dressing that just tastes like lemon water anyway. It really annoyed me paying about 50 bucks for something I could have gotten in my back yard. read more

About 30 minutes after I ate it I had horrible stomach cramps and was really sick. My dog had a couple pieces of chicken as well and even he got sick. Thinking it was just because of the meat, I decided to go here for dinner with my friend and we both ordered green bowls without meat. A few hours later, my friend started throwing and having horrible stomach cramps that have continued into today. I should've never gone back after the first experience. As I couldn't wait to be able to try this restaurant, I know what I will not order again. I was so excited for the broth bowl. I ordered the Spicy Ginger Steak and Rice noodle broth bowl. As well as visually it looked wonderful, 1. it wasn't spicy at all and 2 it was so greasy/oily. I felt every spoonful I took that it was oil running down my face. It wasn't appetizing at all. When I couldn't eat it anymore the grease actually coagulated on the top. It reminded me of a sauce that needed to be skimmed of the grease. I will go back to try the grain bowl or salad but I was completely disappointed. read more
