The waitress was very helpful making food and drink recommendations to accommodate a food allergy. Fairly priced, Excellent quality. On a whim I ordered the Dubai chocolate bar. Fair warning, it did not have a listed price and ended up being $25. Would I do it again, absolutely! 5- 6" double layer chocolate bars stuffed with balaclava filling and honey and pistachios on top. I tried this place for the first time last week and overall my review is mixed. The inside is beautiful! They have a lot of seating inside and even outside. The employees were very nice and answered any questions I had about the menu. The food is my issue here. I loved the garden fries and I ordered some eggplant meatballs as well and they tasted delicious! The entree I ordered I was not a big fan of. The rice was so salty. I'm not sure if that's how they like to season it but I was not a fan. The shawarma chicken wasn't cooked the authentic way either, so you can tell it's not real shawarma chicken. The salad and dressings tasted great. The rose water lemonade is delicious I do recommend ordering that! Overall I give this place 3 stars because the service, appetizers and beverage was great. We ordered the garden mezza for 4 of us. What a great variety of chumous, baba Danish, grape leaves, falafel, and spinach pie. Everything was in the top 10 for us. The place is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly but we were disappointed with the taste of the food. We started off with the appetizers and the only one I enjoyed was the baba ganoush. Everything else had a different taste / twist on the dishes making the food not taste authentic from the Middle East. For our main course we ordered the gyro platters and wraps (falafel wrap and chicken ceasar wrap). The entrees weren't that great either. The gyros had a sour taste and the meat did not taste fresh - it tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. The wraps were okay but too much dressing making the taste empowered by the dressing. Overall this might be good for someone who isn't used to authentic Mediterranean food but for someone who is middle eastern it was a disappointment. read more

I was looking for something to grab to eat and came across this restaurant. I called in my order of a chicken wrap and chicken platter. When I arrived I had to find parking on the street. When I walked in I was greeted and waiting my turn in this small, cute cafe. My food was ready and I paid and left. When I dug in the food was good. The only thing I could of done without is the chips in the platter and the pickled cabbage in the wrap. All in all I had a good experience. read more

The staff is very welcoming and were happy to accommodate any requests we had, even to the degree that we tried the Arabic coffee and loved it so much that we have a large sample to bring home. This is a cozy restaurant with wonderful staff, and inside and outside seating. We sat inside. We were driving through the area and were craving Mediterranean food. We were not disappointed. The tzatziki sauce is lively and fresh, the salad greens are crisp and both the falafel and lamb exceeded expectations. The restaurant interior is a bit small but is airy and comfortable. Drove through Scranton and decided to get dinner here. The service was horrific and very unorganized. Placed an order for pick up over the phone and the owner doesn't even take a name down/give estimated time, just hangs up. Then when I show up, there's no communication going on (mid pandemic). No one knows how to match my order because there was no name given. Had to remind them of what I ordered... wait staff outside hanging out without masks and no sense of urgency or care. Finally, the food comes out and I am missing an item! (Ordered two wraps, one falafel and the other lamb, with spinach pie). Looking into the bag and only see lamb gyro. Happy I noticed before I went back to my hotel with my vegetarian girlfriend, who would've went without dinner. I ask about it and I'm told that I never ordered it... despite ordering it on the phone only minutes before. After a small confrontation, mindless waiting, and lots of miscommunication, I finally get everything and pay. As for the food: the spinach pie was subpar (lacked flavor, very thin and small). The gyro wraps on the other hand were flavorful and robust in size but terribly messy. All in all, I would say this place is probably not worth the hassle. Owners are dismissive and slow, food is pretty good though (but be wary of service). read more

I went here for a solo dinner after work just after 6. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and I was able to sit wherever I wanted. For my main course, I had the Moroccan Chicken. It was seasoned incredibly well, and wasn't too spicy. There was enough spice to give the dish a kick, but not so much that it distracted from other flavors. The lentils that were blended into the sauce made the dish more filling. The side salad was fresh with just the right amount of dressing. For dessert I had the baklava. First time at this restaurant while in the area for work. Parking is on the street at $2.00 per hour. The dining room is small but decorated colorfully. I was quickly greeted upon entry and seated. Water was brought to the table in a swing top bottle. After looking at the menu I had seen a few different dishes that caught my eye. Ultimately, I chose the Falafel Rice Bowl since it had several components to the dish. I figured I could sample the most items in this dish. It included fried falafel, hummus, pickled turnips, tahini and salad all sitting on seasoned rice. I asked for a side order of their house made hit sauce and garlic whip, both of which were items featured in other dishes on the menu. Additionally, I ordered a drink, Vitmo, whi h had blavk currants, black carrots, raspberris and pear juice. The time it took to prepare the food seemed appropriate. While waiting for my lunch to be prepared I noticed a couple bottles of olive oil at the host station. I had to ask about the. What I learned is the family has their own olive orchard in Israel and produced this olive oil. I was told the olive oil was produced using stone. Of course it is cold pressed and also unfiltered. They were availae for sale so I got one to take home as a tasty souvenir. My food was very good. The falafel was flavorful and not dry. A very generous portion was served and it was fresh and delicious. The pickled turnips added nice cruch and texture. The salad was light and refreshing. The rice that everything sat on was excellent. I could not figure out how they seasoned it but it was great. The garlic whip (I believe it's actually called Toum), was everything I could ask for being the garlic fanatic I am. I added small dollops to my bowl as I made my way to the bottom. This, accompanied with the hot sauce, made my palate rejoice. The drink I ordered was fruity and complemented my meal. If I am ever in Scranton, PA again I would return here for another meal. read more
