I love all their yoga classes like hot yoga to restorative, I'm there! The studio's clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Check-in is a breeze. Staffs are friendly, and instructors are super helpful. Cube storage by the entrance. Lockers are in the restrooms with showers available. There are two studios from what I recall. I usually come to this location for a more challenging class or one with a sound bath. Also, parking is spacious, which makes it super convenient to find a space easily. They adjust the room temperature (high) which is so good for my body. I liked the yoga and exercises there but some employees (or maybe SET team member) there are rude. They offer SET (studio experience team) where you get discounts and unlimited membership with lower price if you work 2.5hrs a week. I am guessing the rude person was SET member or an emoloyee. I don't think a full time employee would do that, or maybe they will. I stopped going and cancelled. I really like the experience in the classes but I am not happy with the rude interaction. Too bad. I signed up for yogasculpt with Paige through classpass. It is a tough class and the room gets very hot. You will be a puddle by the time class is halfway but it was worth it! It was a very full class and Paige walked me through the studio to show me where everything was located for class. At the end youll have to wipe your weights down and they give you a cool face towel. I love that they have early morning classes so that I can go before work. The heat makes me feel like I'm getting a great workout and my favorite class is the yoga sculpt. The bathrooms are clean. There are mat markers so that everyone can fit into the class without it being overly crowded. read more

The instructors are awesome. With a variety of personalities, there is an instructor for everyone and every mood. It was so easy to religiously go at least three times a week. The schedule is fantastic for those who work during the day. The only reason I let my membership go was because I moved from the area. I miss it so much!!! I haven't found anything like it. I'm from out of state to start - used to different studios. But the moment I walked into the studio I was hit with odor. It felt like I was walking into a pool of bacteria the smell was so strong. This is my favorite yoga studio in Salt Lake City! They have a wide variety of classes you can take including your basic beginner classes, yoga with weights/cardio, restorative yoga, etc. My favorite class that this CorePower location offers is the C2+Restore yoga taught by Brooke F. This class is incredible. It starts off with two flows, the first is usually pretty gentle and the second is typically a little bit more challenging. The second half of class is a basic restorative yoga class - gently holding poses for an extended period of time. I love the combination of the C2 class with the gentle relaxation of a restorative class after you've gotten your heart rate up a bit. I've taken both C1 and C2 classes, which are both great. C1 is a more all levels class, and C2 is a bit more challenging and intermediate, although the instructors always give modifications to the poses if you're not all the way at a C2 level. I've also taken Yoga Sculpt which KICKED my butt. It's a combination of yoga, cardio, and weights and can get pretty intense. I had to sit in child's pose for a portion of it to get my heart rate down. It's a phenomenal workout. I've loved every instructor I've had here, and love coming back here every week! read more

I did the C1 class 10:30am on Valentines Day with JoJo as the instructor, and the intentions were all directed towards self love !! It was amazing! The instructor was amazing with such good energy! I am still just a novice with only 10 or so yoga classes under my belt, but they have been so welcoming with no judgement towards my advanced age or lack of flexibility! Their C1 classes are great at only $15/class no membership required and your first week is free!! Their studio is always clean and welcoming!! I love the cold washcloths soaked in essential oils that are offered at the end of class! Can't wait to attend another class!! read more

If you're one of those that likes to sweat then this place is for you. Don't expect to just glisten with sweat, but get ready to start dripping droplets of sweat from your whole body. You'll notice a big puddle of sweat around some people. How is this place different from other hot yoga places, you may wonder??? They have the bikram classes like other places which is 75 mins long. Other than bikram, they have classes where you go through different poses in a room lit with candles, guitar player, theme music, or work with weights. A great thing about this place is that they have showers that you can use so you can come before work or have a workout before something you need to be at and not show up all dripped of sweat. If you forget your mat or towel you can rent one from them. Forget your workout clothes??? They have a whole bunch of yoga clothes that you can buy from all different brands. read more

This is my favorite of the Salt Lake City Corepower locations. Both studios are large, with mirrors running the lengths of two walls, good ventilation and also good black-out for the candlelight CP2 classes. My favorite teachers - Robyn and Lisa - also happen to teach at this studio, which might make me slightly biased. My only gripes would be the limited space of the women's locker rooms - frequently they run out of lockers and locks and I prefer not to leave my work laptop in my car or an open cubby. Also, one of the gentlemen who checks me in during the week is particularly grumpy - no matter my attempts at friendliness. Perhaps he needs to take one of the yoga class offerings before starting his shift at work. Overall, Corepower has a great selection of classes and their unlimited pass allows me to visit any of the three studios in the Salt Lake City area at a more affordable price than any boutique yoga studio can offer. read more

You guys! What's not to love about yoga. Good: The low lighting. Helps you focus on your breath and not on your bottom playing peek-a-boo for the yoga behind you. The music. Changes pretty frequently. Always just chill and puts you in an immediately better mind space. The teachers. Are pretty different so that every class doesn't start to feel the same. LISA gets my vote for #1. Not so good: Not the most welcoming structure for beginners. The classes move so quickly, there is literally no time for play or help with techniques. It would nice if there was just one or two classes a week dedicated to form and inversions so that novice yogis could get more comfortable using them in faster flowing classes. Give it a try! You won't leave with a dry spot on your clothing. read more

I accidentally Class Passed for yoga at this studio thinking it was for the one on Foothill. When I realized I was at the wrong place, I called the Highlands Studio to let them know so that ClassPass didn't charge me. I was able to cancel the class but not because I got any help from the Highlands Studio. Have no idea what their yoga is like but beware - they are not customer centric or helpful. At least not in my one experience, which will be my only experience with this studio. read more

I love practicing yoga here. Every teacher is incredible. They choose amazing music and are always ready to help with anything. The temperature makes it heavenly to move and sweat. Lisa is not only an incredible teacher but an awesome person and manager of this studio. I haven't been able to practice since the pandemic began and they have been more than accommodating for my health issues; I have asthma and get pneumonia very easily. I appreciate their kindness so very much. I can't wait until I can practice here again. If you haven't tried hot, power yoga or sculpt, try it! You will love it! read more

Some of my girlfriends and I thought we'd try out the free week deal that corepower yoga was offering since none of us had ever taken a real yoga class before. You sign up on their website which is super quick and easy. Inside is beautiful and smells wonderful with all the essential oils diffusing through the humidifiers. They sell yoga pants, shirts, water bottles, and you can rent a yoga mat for $2. The class we took was yoga 1 which I think is the most basic one. During the class I was dying from heat but it felt good to sweat like that. We did poses that hurt a little bit but gave a good stretch and challenged my flexibility. Every now and then our instructor would come around and give each of us a little neck massage which felt amazingggg. At the end, she had a little rolled up wash cloth sitting at the corner of our mats waiting for us. This was honestly the best part because these wash cloths felt as if they were sitting in a cold bath of ice which felt so good on the skin after sitting in that hot humid room. Overall, my first yoga experience was awesome! I felt relaxed and was able to de-stress for a little bit. I would recommend coming here and doing the free week or 2 week trial for $15 if you can't afford their membership. read more

I love CorePower! My favorite class is sculpt, it's a total body workout that incorporates core, cardio and strength. This studio has amazing teachers shout out to Lauren T, Robyn P, Robin and Cynthia. They all have great music and will whip you into shape. This location has classes early in the morning on weekdays so I can get a great workout in before heading into work, it gives me the energy I need for day. The classes and instructors here are some of the best I have ever taken and I get everything I could ever want out of them - spiritually, mentally, and physically. The Highland studio was my first introduction to Corepower and it's wonderful! During peak hours, parking has been a bit of an issue. However, this studio is home to some wonderful teachers. I highly recommend Robin's yoga sculpt class if you're looking for a great workout! Corepower is very exercise oriented so many of the yoga classes aren't purely yoga. However, restore is one of my favorites and it often features live guitar! Highland is one of the bigger and more popular studios in the Salt Lake CPY trio so be aware that it can get very crowded. Really like this place. They have a 1 week free yoga trial you can try out! You also have to bring your own yoga mat and towel--or you can rent--with the exception of the very first day which they will provide you with if you don't have. I invited a bunch of my friends and we would go to their classes. All their classes are heated--so regardless you leave feeling like you got a workout lol First class I took was Hot Power Fusion with candlelight and live guitar--this class was very hot (as expected) so I prob. wouldn't go again. But I loved the live guitar music--there was someone actually there playing for us and it was awesome! My favorite instructor was Cynthia--not only was her body goalsss but she was upbeat, fun, and her Sculpt class had great music too--felt like I got a great workout. At the end of every class they give you a lavender scented cold towel which feels heavenly. Wish they had classes a little closer to my home though--coming northbound for a afternoon class I would always hit traffic! read more
