I drive by this place all the time and have never given it a try, but I'm so glad i did. their website is updated and easy to use, i placed my order there and it was ready even faster than it quoted. Inside i was happily surprised to see the place full of people dining. I got home with the goods and it was honestly better than i hoped. I had the lamb masala, it was perfect. Generous chunks of lamb with such a delicious savory sauce. The rice was also perfect for it but i got the garlic naan too of course. We also tried the butter chicken it was also really good. Everything was so yummy. The prices aren't cheap but that's everywhere these days. If it was a little more of a deal I'd really find myself here more Often! Liked the garlic naan, samosa, and mocktail. Service was good. Nice ambiance. Tandoori chicken and biryani were okay. Vegetable curry and butter chicken were ridiculously sweet, to the point where it was actually disgusting. The saag was so flavorless. Portions were meager, so value is poor, given that their curries were awful. No one else seems to be complaining about how sugary all the entrees are. Cheese stuffed naan was basically cheesy bread. Nothing wrong with it but fits Italian restaurant more than an Indian one. Paalak paneer was decent. I had specifically requested for very little paneer. It came with a lot of it. My boyfriend took me to this place for lunch on a Sunday. He's been to the one in Denver and raves about it. Service was great, they were very attentive and kind. We ordered drinks. I had the tamarind margarita and he had the Punjabi mule. Both were tasty. I loved the tang of the tamarind. I got the lamb biryani. The lamb was soooo tender and flavorful. I would definitely order this again. It was way too much for one sitting so I got take the rest for my work lunch. My bf ordered the butter lamb. I tried some and proceeded to steal more throughout our meal. The sauce is divine! I could drink it. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and is clean. Hands down the best Indian I've ever had. We stopped in and got it to go but inside was clean, staff was friendly, service was quick, and the atmosphere was nice. I got the chicken vindaloo (spicy) and my boyfriend got the butter chicken (medium) and garlic cheese naan. It took about 20 mins but it was so fresh! All the food was fresh, piping hot, and smelled great. The chicken vindaloo was a vibrant orange with so much heat - I was so happy to finally get spice when I ask for it! It made me sweat which is what I want! The rice was so fluffy and flavorful too, perfectly absorbing the sauce. The butter chicken sauce was creamy and the chicken in both dishes was tender. Visiting Golden, Colorado for a wedding and yelp led us to Coriander for lunch. We were greeted by Navi, excellent service! We even got lucky with a Diwali treat that was on the house. We happened upon this place when in the Golden Colorado area. We love Indian food and wanted to give them a try. We seem to be the only people in the place and got served and seated right away. The food is spectacular. The mini samosas are just perfect and the sauce they use is phenomenal. The soup is rich and creamy and tasted delicious. The paneer butter masala was also rich and flavor and the rice and Naan were fresh. We would recommend this restaurant if you like Indian food and exceptional service. The ambience is nice inside. There was a huge beautiful floral wall painting near where we sat. The staff were very attentive & helpful with great service from our waiter. We started with the achari wings - they were good and flavorful.. so was the murg tandoor. My friend got the fish tikka, she liked it. I think everything grilled was flavorful and freshly made. We also got the paneer makhani and butter chicken - both were okay,sweeter than your typical curries. Naan was as if it was reheated and given to us.. all 5 of us with slightly uncooked naans.. disappointing! Craving butter chicken and delicious Indian food, we stopped by Coriander on our way home after hitting the slopes of Copper Mountain. I must say, that Indian food hits hard after a cold day on the slopes. Coriander has been on my list for a while so we made it a stop. First off the staff are attentive and friendly. We decided to get 2 dishes and a samosa to start. The samosa is good but I'm having a hard time telling if it's frozen or not. The tamarind sauce that accompanied the dish was great. The butter chicken was good but I did have one criticism about the taste...it was too sweet. The sugar overpowered pretty much everything and it's pretty much like how American Chinese cuisine is heavy on the sweetness, which makes it less authentic. The mattar paneer was the same, it was on the sweeter side but was good enough to finish. In the end, it was a good experience, but I'd rather have a less sweet dish and heavier on the savory side. As soon as I walked through the door of Coriander, I was convinced it was going to be an amazing dining experience. The fragrant aroma of aromatic spices fills the restaurant. The staff seated us right away, and we were quickly served our drinks and appetizers. The lychee martini was very refreshing and sweet, while the panjabi samosas were rich and served with a spicy green sauce. Our entrees were incredible. Ordered takeout from coriander tonight, and everything was exceptional. Our meal consisted of chana masala, butter chicken, several types of naan, samosa, and lettuce paneer wrap. Ladder was the first I have had of its kind, very inventive and tasty. I ordered through Uber eats, and several items were marked buy one get one free. Coriander - Golden is a small Indian restaurant located in a tucked away strip mall in the city of, you guessed it, Golden. I am quite the fan of Indian food, specifically spicy Indian food, so I knew I had to try this place out as many of you fellow fans will understand. My experience was a bit mixed here and I will detail my visit further below. Food: I thought the food was pretty decent. The vindaloo was spicier than most I found in Colorado which I enjoyed but where there was an abundance of spice, I felt there was a bit of lack in flavor. The butter chicken was very sweet and seemed to be very "Americanized". The Punjabi samosas were tasty but I thought it was quite a bit overpriced. Service: Here is where I was the most disappointed. Our experience until the end was great. However, for how well staffed they were and not busy it was, I had a very hard time getting our check and getting out of there. We were also told that our ginger beer drink was $2 but was charged $5. Not a huge deal, but it was not great. Overall, I am not sure I would return but others seem to enjoy it! Edit: my girlfriend and I both woke up early in the morning with mild stomach pain for me and severe stomach pain for her. We believe it was from the butter chicken because she had most of it and I finished off what she couldn't finish. Disappointing. read more

Didn't expect Indian food in Golden to be so good, but our food was delicious with generous portions. The restaurant staff were so nice and even provided us with extra portions of rice/naan. First time trying cheese+garlic naan which my daughter claimed was the best thing ever. We are from So Cal and this has got to be one of the best Indian we've had in a while. It may not have the street specials or the desirable pastries like the huge dosas, but everything we've ordered from Fish tikka to Butter Chicken had their own flavor characteristics. I was amazed at how tender the fish was yet it didn't taste like they had used baking soda to tenderize it. The sauce is on the sweeter side for this dish. I was between Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken but since hubby got the Fish Tikka, I ultimately decided on the Butter chicken. It's so buttery and I loved the tomato flavor. Concise, clear, plenty of veg and non-veg options + breads and desserts. We got: gobi manchurian app, veggie pakora, daal soup, coriander bullet naan and garlic naan, veggie biryani entree, butter paneer masala entree, saffron rice, and gobi masala entree. Lots of food for only 2 people but we have leftovers for daaays. Portions are huge. Food came out piping hot and fresh, my mango lassi was tangy and not too sweet. Spices were well incorporated, flavors reminded my boyfriend of his favorite childhood foods. I believe this is their 2nd location and I'm quite happy it's here.
