Charcuterie with prosciutto, salami, and manchego cheese
    Milena N.

My family and I enjoyed delicious food and had a great time here. We were able to get seated right away on a Wednesday afternoon. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and kindly answered our questions about various dishes. Food came out fast, and several staff members passed by to ask us how everything was tasting. I started off with a strawberry lemonade and it was incredibly refreshing on a hot day. The charcuterie was delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it. Fruits were sweet and the pickled vegetables were especially good. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were very good, although I've had better elsewhere - Beechers in Seattle and tomato soup in Iceland, but I know that's not a fair comparison. For dessert, we ordered bread pudding, it was yummy and the perfect end to our meal. The ambience was nice and not too loud inside. Wish I was local, so I can dine here more often. OMG!! This restaurant right outside of red rocks is such a hidden gem! Everything is made fresh from scratch and all organic!! The server was soo sweet and funny. She gave us a whole breakdown of the menu and how they make everything fresh daily, she was joking around with us and always made sure our drinks stayed filled. The inside and outside were both sooo cute in their own ways. The inside of the restaurant felt like you were at your grandmothers house. The outside was so relaxing with the sound of the running waterfall. We all LOVED our meals and will be telling any and everyone who goes to red rocks that they HAVE to stop here when they're in the area.

Host was very kind, we asked to change seating locations because we felt crowded in the first table and she happily moved us to be closer to the outdoor fountain they have, which is beautiful to look at as you wait. Our waitress was also great at giving food recommendations. She suggested locations to visit that she discovered throughout her time in Denver and gave tips on how to prepare for our first time at red rocks. We started with the baked goat cheese dip and the server immediately confirmed that it was a good choice for an app. We also got the verlasso salmon and the filet, which was the special. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. We were very pleased with our whole experience and would recommend to come try their food!

Majestic perfection in every bite. Veggie burger with all the fixins.

Oh. My. Gourd. YES! The quality of the food is extraordinary, clearly made from scratch, skill and love. Vegan burger is quinoa and beet (vegan when ordered with sourdough - which was chewy and crunchy toasted to perfection). The pickled onions, heirloom tomatoes and mixed green toppings could be a salad in and of itself. Dredged fries are not to be missed. Possibly my best meal of 2026. Ricky D is a kind, adept and charming waiter who made the experience all the better amid a spacious outdoor patio with a water feature. Hungry Goat makes for an exceptional and memorable experience!

We have eaten here a few times, most recently a week or so ago, with friends before a concert at red rocks. Online, you can enter the number in your party, and enter the virtual queue, which we did. Our table for four was ready when we arrived, and we were seated right away. Our server was great, good energy, and made multiple recommendations on the menu, including what may have recently changed, or been updated, on the menu. He highly recommended the strawberry margarita, noted that it wasn't sweet, and that they make all of their syrups, flavoring etc. in house, and this was a standout newer addition. He was right - it was delicious, refreshing for a hot summer day, and best of all, not overly sweet. For dinner, I had the filet, which came with a generous portion of super creamy, delicious mashed potatoes, asparagus, and the most wonderfully flavorful au jus. My steak was perfectly cooked the way I like it (medium rare). The dessert, a 'creme brûlée' was not at all your typical creme brûlée, and honestly, for me, fell a bit flat. I think it was made with some type of goat cheese, didn't have the lovely custardy/smooth consistency, volume, or depth. The fresh fruit on top was nice, but I only had a bite or so of this dessert we shared. Maybe call it something else, or alternatively, make sure when people order it they know it's non-traditional creme brûlée. Otherwise, wonderful meal, with great friends and we will absolutely be back!

Had food here twice, consecutively. Came here in conifer last week and loved the food. Came in here as a group with kids, their menu is just so good. There are non meat options too which you'll devour. I loved their salmon specifically. The lamb chops were good as well. I think I enjoyed just about everything that I ordered. There was a lavender pear martini that I ordered with gin as it doesn't come with alcohol, that was a great drink I think! That said, the people here are so very sweet to cater the changes, our kids were just as happy as we were!

Super cute spot for brunch. Fresh ingredients and delicious entrees. There was definitely a wait, but there's a lot of small shops to walk around and browse while you wait. Service was great, despite them being busy and packed.

What a delicious and delightful find! Their patio is absolutely charming, a quaint little oasis with a homemade waterfall that sets the perfect ambience. The charcuterie selection was superb, beautifully curated and full of flavor. From the hostess to our waitress, every staff member was genuinely friendly and incredibly accommodating. Such a lovely experience from start to finish.

Wow! What an experience. Began walking near Hungry Goat and you start with a smell senses being aroused to come closer. We've never eaten at the location that has changed themes/restaurants over time. Feels like a home that has been transformed into a restaurant. Main restaurant is quant and the outdoor seating where we were was great in the evening with the lighting and heaters deployed. Our food was fantastic! Had clams, calamari, and libations to start! Drinks were perfect and everything was presented beautifully. The Cioppino was spot on, guest also had salmon, the tenderloin and the pok pok chicken. Each dish had a unique theme and flavor palette. We couldn't leave without giving desert a try. The pumpkin moose was amazing as was the bread pudding which for us was white chocolate with raspberry. Service was great and would definitely return.

Hungry Goat was great. The "scratch" in their name does some heavy lifting, as their underlying philosophy is to have almost everything on the menu whipped up right on premises (from scratch...get it?). The setting is pleasant, with a nice (albeit cramped) dining room and a lovely patio with some cover from the sun. And service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. I had a mocktail special, a watermelon and lemonade concoction (both made on site!) that was super refreshing. For entrees, the steak frites were calling. Each part of the dish was well executed. The salad had a subtle zest from a dressing that didn't drench the plate; the fries were crispy and full of flavor; and the steak was the right temperature and came in a balanced sauce. The portion left a lot to be desired; for $24 (as of August 2025), it felt like a half portion of hanger steak, and it wasn't the most filling entree. Maybe we ordered wrong, but other than the amount of food, everything else about the meal was excellent.

Really enjoyed this adorable little spot in downtown Morrison! We had gone hiking and needed some food before heading to a show at Red Rocks. Hungry Goat was the perfect place to stop! The drinks were really good. I had their specialty old fashioned and was impressed. My wife had a glass of the sparkling rose and it was pretty good. The cheese and charcuterie board was really diverse and well put together with accompaniments. My wife enjoyed the chicken and I really liked the quinoa dish. The s'mores dessert looked amazing! Next time, I'll try it. The patio looked so fun, but it was raining when we went. There's a really cool waterfall feature that made a nice sounds as we ate. The service was perfect, efficient and friendly. I'll be back!

We stopped here on a Saturday early afternoon after a ride at Lair o the Bear. Parking is a bit difficult to find. You utilized the town parking (paid) outside of a handful of spots at the restaurant. We sat outside which didn't have much air flow but was a nice area. There was a ceiling fan - we asked them to turn it up but they did not. We also asked the server to leave the water bottle at the table versus filling our glasses, since we were thirsty and were going through it quickly. He said that he can't leave it because then they have to wash them between groups but that he would be sure to keep the glasses full. He did not... The brunch menu was the offering at the time. One friend had the omelette. It had bacon, peppers, onion and it was huge and looked delicious-if you like omelettes. It came with some home fries and small side salad of just greens. Another had the veg-quinoa burger and said it was good. Another had the burger and said it was decent. Another had the French toast and did not think it was worth getting I ordered the grilled avocado salad and added chicken. The amount of greens in my salad was not much more than my friends side that came with his omelette and the salad was $16 with another $10 for the chicken. I am not sure if there would have been more greens if there wasn't chicken. Either way, it had good flavor and the chicken did as well but not for $26.

Had been wanting to try this place every time we drive through Morrison -- glad we finally stopped. What I found was a cool place that makes everything in house "scratch." Exceptional wine list too! Yes the name says it all --Scratch and wine - perfect. Inside the place is inviting with rock walls and open aired dining --perfect for a spring day, especially with all the blooming fruit trees nearby. Service was great. Shawn took care of us with solid recommendations and prompt service. The charcutier board was wonderful - meats and cheeses- along with some pickled items and lots of fresh fruit. The grilled cheese sandwich was perfectly grilled. Shrimp and grits were a hit. Finished with the beignets covered in confectioner's sugar that melted in our mouths and topped with hot chocolate and fresh strawberries. What a satisfying meal. A beautiful patio, fresh air, fresh food, friendly service The Hungry Goat provided a wonderful experience.

I went searching for a non chain bar or restaurant to support and was shocked to see that Lakewood CO of all places had a local distillery and just had to try it. It honestly exceeded my expectations as I originally planned on coming in for one drink but left after trying 3 because it was so good. My first drink was the Coffee, God and Cigarettes. This drink offered a well-balanced blend of bitter and sweet notes, both light and flavorful. The tobacco finish is present but not overpowering, making for a very enjoyable overall experience. The 2nd drink I got was the old fashioned.... Which was made with both whiskey and rum in it which left me a bit nervous to actually order it. But don't let the rum fool you, this is a classic-tasting delicious Old Fashioned. Ironically, the rum has more traditional whiskey character than their white whiskey (which tastes like scotch). If you like Old Fashioneds, you'll find this version delicious. I finished with the Serrano Cucumber Gimlet. It features a fresh cucumber essence and a well-balanced, subtle heat. A unique and excellent twist on the classic. All the in house spirits were great, Cameron the bartender on shift was able to answer any and all questions I had, the drinks were great and the atmosphere was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend giving this Lakewood distillery a shot

We wanted to really like this place based on all the great reviews. At the time of our lunch visit…read moreit was 4.4 stars. We didn't find anything that met that standard in our mind. In our opinion Coyote Table needs to decide if it's a Mexican Restaurant or Italian Restaurant. I had two street tacos that were ok and my wife had the meatball grinder that she thought was terrible. She also had a blue moon beer that was flat and on the warm side. We didn't have the pizza but watched it go by to other tables. It was a thin crust on the darker cooked side. More like a Mexican taco pizza than a NY style pizza. Although there was only one person serving the whole restaurant (bar and dining area), the service was good. Don't think that we will be back.

The "meatballs" were small little pancakes, flattened, maybe the size of your palm. Tasty but so odd. We ordered their 12" red sauce pizza, #5, otherwise known as Italian sausage, goat cheese and basil. Thin crust and a little skimpy on the sauce in some spots. It wasn't enough to deter me from enjoying a few slices, lol. Something was missing from the overall balance but I wasn't able to put my finger on it. My partner shared the same sentiments when he enjoyed a few slices I brought home. Still good, but missing a little something. Our waitress was a one woman show - serving everyone there: the bar, the tables and the gelato counter inside. She was great - friendly, mellow and just the right amount of attentive. I'm fairly certain my original review dropped a star for the for pricing. Same today. Lunch for two with a shared appetizer, a pizza and one glass of tea ran us right at $40. Not affordable for more than an occasional trip. Our gelato was another $10 for one scoop for each of us.
