This place was pretty busy, so it seemed like it would be the best option in the area. The views were great from the patio and everything else was average Food: I was actually surprised to see a lot of Cajun options o the menu! I probably should have ordered one of those , but I opted for the burger instead. I ordered it "medium" but half way through it was rare (I'm not sure how they managed that but it's kinda impressive). The bun was soggy and the side salad was not worth it. The fried okra appetizer was the best part. Seating: They have some outdoor tables but those were full. The inside tables were packed as well. There was bar seating and seating at the patio railing (which had the views) Service: Service was a bit awkward. Everyone was nice, but it wasn't clear how to order, if the order was put in and I was good to go, how to get a water refill (I didn't get one until they refilled when I got the check) Price: Overall for the food (I didn't have a drink) it was pricey for the quality of the experience. Parking: The whole area was a bit challenging parking wise but that was expected with a downtown like this

Great find if you like Cajun food they do a decent job. Rotating selection of local taps and cans. Service was friendly and spot on, the place is clean and decently priced. We enjoyed blackened catfish and shrimp & grits (creamy and delicious!) with jalapeño cornbread. The cornbread is not listed as a side, but for $2 they give you a big slab which is toasty and easy to share. Spice level was mild on our dishes, but hot sauce is on each table. Good for groups. Inside/outside and bar seating. If you are in the area give them a try. They have a big burger and sammie selection along with a kids menu. Enjoy!

This was the best burger I had the whole trip! We sat outside on the street and had a great time! We started with the cheese curds that were 10/10 when dipped in their homemade ranch. They also came with a side of BBQ sauce which I didn't really understand, we preferred the ranch. The Mardi Gras burger was piled high with bacon, pickled jalapeños and other toppings that complemented the juicy burger patty perfectly. The jalapeños packed a punch so I knocked half of them off and went back to munching. Delicious! The side salad was fresh and I enjoyed one of their homemade vinaigrettes. Our waitress was a lot of fun and we got in and out of there in about an hour. Not busy at all on a Friday night around 8p.

Beer, wine, ciders they have all the drinks!

Casual dining, scrumptious food and after a day of hiking a cool beer and hard cider made it a complete 10/10! Downtown Golden Colorado has lots of places to choose from for dining and we picked one of the best! Friendly, fast service reasonable prices, mystery beer deals on Thursday. What more could you want? The menu has clever wording to describe the options for food. We got a Mountain Fig Pizza. Delightful flavors to the palette! Yes, I will be frequenting this restaurant again, as should you! The beer and ciders are cold and go down easy on a hot day!

My group of friends needed a place to watch a football game on Saturday night, and this place fit the bill. There were a few TVs, and we got them to change the channel on the TV above our table to the one we wanted. We got some truffle fries and boneless wings to start. The wings were a lot better than I thought they would be, but they were a bit pricey. I got the chicken sandwich with Cajun fries. The sandwich was a little thinner than I expected, but the fries were very good. You do have to pay to upgrade from chips to fries, which was annoying. This place had a good amount of seating and could seat a large group. I do think it is overpriced, but the food was good.

We chose this place on a whim because it looked fun and smelled good. We also wanted some local beer and this place delivered exactly what we were looking for. It's cute inside and out, and the service was all around great. Delicious beer and totally scrumptious food! I loved the Storm Peak Maestro West Coast IPA and practically licked the salad bowl clean and devoured the sweet potato fries. Definitely a wise choice if you're in Golden!

We really loved the Blackened Catfish Cajun Po'Boy sandwich. The fish was well seasoned but in a way that really allowed you to taste the fish itself. I was very impressed, and almost ordered another one if my stomach only would've had more room for it.

I said it was the best burger I ever ate. My husband, whose hobbies include crushing joy with logic, said, "No it wasn't. It was an ordinary burger. You only think it's amazing because you almost died." Had to settle that debate, so we tried it without the kill-me-hike warmup this time. Food I don't like my burgers swimming in their own juicy filth. And these burgers are dry, juicy, beefy, and didn't almost drown in their own fat. Even the bun (brioche, I think) stayed dry as summer heat. Plus, their fries are that kind that almost seem battered. Crisp on the outside, potato-y on the inside. We also tried the deviled eggs, which was a nice update to an old classic. Atmosphere This is perfectly casual with outdoor dining (great for dogs). Big umbrellas and coverage from the summer sun. I've never eaten inside because why. Service Perfectly competent. Nobody gave us a pony. Nobody accidentally set us on fire. The food arrived quickly, while the check took its own scenic route through the restaurant. Everyone was friendly. No complaints. Value Expensive burgers at $18-22 each. But I only have burgers a few times a year, so when I do, I'm going to demand one of these from now on.

We spent half a day in Golden and well the other restaurants and bars are nice, this one felt like it perfectly split the difference between a locals only and destination spot. Also, and this is a very specific thing, I absolutely love that they had cloth towels in the bathroom. We were looking for a quick bite in Golden and unfortunately ended up at Miners Saloon. After seating ourselves, our server took his sweet time making his way over. We ordered the charcuterie board and the whipped ricotta, the former wildly overpriced. The charcuterie board was fine, nothing to write home about. The ricotta, though, was missing in action (we never got it), just like our server, who never once checked on us after taking our order. I think he said maybe three words to us the entire time we were there. We left hungry, frustrated, and disappointed by the service (or lack thereof).

Sat at a tall table and after a while we grabbed a menu for ourselves. We were a party of 5. When the server approached she sort of said sorry for the wait and we all said no worries at all! There was a special shot highlighted at the bar and so I ordered it, asked everyone else if they wanted one and another said yes, but I had a question about a drink someone had at the bar. When I tried asking the server she appeared more t h and annoyed and responded with a sparky tone and a "I'm not waiting for you guys to decide!" And stormed off. We were SHOCKED. So I said nope, not doing this....approached the bar and asked her if she preferred we take our business elsewhere. She angrily yells back that we should've been ready and so sure, get walkin." Not a problem, we walked. Had an awesome experience down the block. Never ever have I seen nevermind experienced firsthand such horrible, miserable and disrespectful treatment of a customer. She should be fired ASAP.
