My husband said he booked me a birthday dinner here whilst we were in town visiting and at first we couldn't find it because it is inside a hotel but there was also construction on all the roads around. When we finally walked in we went through the pool area and it was like a resort in Mexico, stunning. The inside was modern and sleek decor too, I was hoping the food would be the same standard and it was. Both of our cocktails were delicious. My husband got the short rib which was so tender, very good. I got the steak and it was one of the best I've had in a long time, the flavour was amazing and it was cooked to perfection. Delicious Food, Cozy Ambiance, and Friendly Service Multiple Locations: I've been a fan of Corrine restaurant since visiting their Austin, TX location multiple times, so I was thrilled to find one in San Antonio. The waitress told me they've been open for about two weeks, so it's still new. If you have visited the Austin, the you know about the Warm Parker House Roll. While they don't have them here, they offer a fry bread alternative. Starter: Starting off with the Navajo fry bread was a treat - the whipped brown butter and spiced agave complemented the crispy, warm bread perfectly. The Mac & Cheese side was decent, though the charred jalapeños weren't my favorite. However, the combination of queso fresco, cotija, and crispy tortilla crumb made up for it. Main Dish: The star of the show was the Rosewood Ranches Wagyu Ribeye. Cooked to perfection with a delightful char on the outside, yet still tender and juicy inside. Paired with red chile truffle butter and crispy potatoes. Well worth it. Cocktails: For drinks, I started with the Signature in Old San Antonio - a well-balanced concoction of Elijah Craig small batch, vanilla sugar, and black walnut bitters. I love whiskey so this was a no-brainer. But my favorite was the Mezcal in The Garden, a refreshing blend of Ilegal Mezcal, Luxardo Maraschino, green chartreuse, and lime. It was the perfect sip to accompany the meal. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THIS DRINK. It was AMAZING. Dessert: Chocolate Bread Pudding - while the bread was slightly mushy and not quite sweet enough, the salted caramel and a la mode presentation made up for it. The ice cream and chocolate pieces were a delightful finish. Service & Parking: Service was friendly, and I appreciated the cozy, dark ambiance with uptempo music setting the mood. The parking is limited nearby, so I opted for valet parking at $15. The restaurant being inside The Plaza hotel adds to its charm. Highly Recommended: Overall, Corrine in San Antonio is a must-visit for foodies looking for delicious fare, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Where do I even start. This place is so amazing and the food is to die for, we are visiting San Antonio from out of state and we wanted to try a new restaurant and we came across this restaurant and we walked in and the tables are set with really nice lighting with candles. And we had a really nice and great waiter named Shanoa and she made sure we had the best dining experience. We got our food pretty fast and the waiter made sure that if we didn't know what something was she made sure to explain it and someone got a dessert they gave them a spoon so that everyone could try it. If you are looking for a restaurant by the Alamo this is the jackpot. My steak was very tender and had really great flavor it was one of the best steaks I've ever had this place is worth the 5 stars I gave this place. read more

My associate and I brought our clients here for a business dinner and it did not disappoint. I work in an old school industry where everyone just wants to go to a traditional steakhouse so when I came across the menu for Corinne I knew this would be the perfect place as they had an elevated experience from your traditional steakhouse options while still offering dishes that could please my clients. To start we ordered for the table the Navajo bread. This bread was sort of like a pita that had been deep fried. The outside was warm and crispy while the inside was fluffy and soft. Served with the bread was whipped butter with spicy agave which complemented the bread perfectly. A delicious mix of savory, sweet and spicy to start the meal. For my main I wanted very badly to order the steak Oscar but the many listed the pork ribeye as their signature dish so I couldn't pass that up. The pork arrived with a large bone in cut from the rib. The pork was cooked perfectly and spiced very nicely with a sweet sauce on top which I believe may have been some sort of agave. This piece of pork was so good that I had to hold myself back from knowing on the bone as I had finished the rest. The rest of my party did order the steak Oscar and really enjoyed but I still think I made the better choice. For sides we ordered the corn esquites, Mac and cheese and when my clients inquired about potatoes which wasn't an option listed for the sides, the restaurant was amenable and took the side potatoes that are normally served with another dish and offered as a table sized side for us which I was very impressed that they were willing to do. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Mac and cheese and a nice bite from the jalapeño and was delicious and creamy. My favorite side was the esquites. An elevated take on a typical street food, this dish provided sweet corn, charred jalapeño with cotija cheese to add a nice richness saltiness to the dish and hominy which I hadn't tried before but reminded me in flavor of a small ball of masa. Service and food were extremely well done at Corinne snd the restaurant provided a very nice ambiance for a quaint dinner. A successful business dinner was held there but this would be a perfect place to go out on a date. I hope that I will be back in the San Antonio area soon enough so I can come back and visit Corinne again. read more

We have been to Corinne before, the first time was a great experience, this time for brunch was not. First the hours of Corinne are posted correctly ONLY on the website. They close at 2pm and open back at 5. We made a reservation on OpenTable for 1:45pm, not knowing they closed in 15min. The lady who sat us seemed very irritated to see us, and our waiter was not nice or pleasant at all. At this moment we still did not know that they were closing soon. We ordered our 2 drinks, asked for straws, and ordered the food- this would be the very last time we would see our waiter (Alexis). We received our appetizer, and asked again for straws. The person who gave us the appetizer apologized for the wait for straws and she was even nice enough to fill our water cups, which had not been filled since we never saw the waiter again. We got the food- which was good (which is why the 2 stars). After waiting about 20 min for a waiter- I got up and asked anyone I could find for a check and a box. She was confused and told me they were closed- I told her we are already at a table, we JUST needed a check and a box for the food. She was very irritated but tried to help us. We left still never seeing the waiter we started with, I paid and we walked out. The restaurant may need to update their hours on other platforms to help people like us not make a reservation 15min before closing. This would avoid frustration on everyone's part. read more

Some feedback from New Year's Eve dinner: 1) there was only one valet working. That's INSANE. 2) most other places post their special event/pre fixe menu online or on open table. We were not expecting limited options as it wasn't disclosed anywhere. 3) service was a tad slow 4) omg the valet was worse at the end. The waitress stated the biscuits were made in fresh and in-house. This might be true but the date the batch was made was unknown. It appears that the biscuit was reheated which caused the biscuit to dry out and the entire bottom gave off the burnt cookie bottom; Hard, crunchy, and difficult to chew. Also, the eggs were very different in texture and gave off the vibe being from an alternative (gmo) source so be cautious of that. Suggest you come to this location for the ambience and atmosphere. Definitely a great place for date night for ordering a few drinks and sharing an appetizer. Definitely not the corneal biscuits. A friend had directed us to Anaqua Garden Bar there at the Plaza and then realized they had a full restaurant as well. Everything was on point. Our server, Hazel was wonderful. Walking into this restaurant you can that there was a lot of thought put into the decor and ambience. It is lovely. If only the food lived up to this as well. We've been twice thinking the first time it was just a fluke that we waited over an hour for our food and then had it come out cold but apparently not. It happened the second time we went as well. Both times, the food took about an hour and fifteen to twenty minutes to come out. I would have been ok with that except that both times one meal was cold while the other was warm. This was for the entrees, the appetizers were lovely especially the Naan bread and Barrata and grilled oysters. The steak was ok but barely warm, the Mac and cheese we sent back as the cheese was congealed and cold. The salmon had good flavor but again was cold. The pasta had nice flavor but had to be sent back because it was like eating a cold pasta salad. Although the outside and inside are lovely, we will not return. The food was not worth it with so many other wonderful restaurants in this city and the wait time is a definite turn off. read more

We came for dinner and enjoyed all of our food and drinks. The wait staff were friendly, attentive, and very fast! For the starter we did the grilled oysters and burrata cheese (I realize this is a random combo, don't judge us). Entrees were the kampachi filet (fish with crispy skin) and the short rib. I appreciated that though I would classify the dishes as American food, there's a Mexican flair that elevates them and keeps it interesting (e.g. chorizo & cotija on the grilled oysters, huitlacoche with the short rib, esquites-esque side with the fish, tepache mixed drink, etc.). I also have to add that the desserts here are amazing. According the waiter, they have an in-house pastry chef, and it shows! The key lime pie was sublime. Just a tip on getting there, the hotel has valet parking that you access from Arciniega St, but there's also plenty of public parking around, with a short walk. read more

And half the food was warm/tepid, as if they held it in the kitchen trying to give us time to finish the appetizers. The short ribs were excellent. The tomahawk pork chop wasn't even warm, very disappointing, and it's advertised as a Signature Dish. The Mac and cheese was the worst Mac y cheese I've ever paid for. Small restaurant and bar within Plaza San Antonio Hotel (Marriott) with excellent, personable service at a time when it was just moderately busy on a Sunday night. We were looking for a light meal late as guests at the hotel. Full bar service with beer, cocktails of all kind and many wine choices. The Caesar salad was fresh and prepared as expected with just the right amount of dressing. The apple and kale salad was also fresh and well prepared for my wife, who added some very tasty grilled chicken to her salad. Bad experience for the price point. Valet had no one on duty to check our car; when we went to pick up, took 10 minutes and we were THE ONLY vehicle there. No one available to help. Lunch service was slow and inefficient. Server brought dirty plates for our sharables and seemed annoyed we requested clean plates. Two managers on duty totally ignore us for any feedback. Only two other tables at 12:15 lunch, so it wasn't like they were slammed, but I will slam them. On the bright side, food was excellent. read more

After talking to the manager he comped our appetizers and we waited another 15 minutes then left. While we were waiting for car we talked to three other couples who also got up and left. I get things happen. If they were short help, explain that to me. I would have been happy to go and find another place and pay for what I had.
