Cork and Pig was so good I went here 2 nights in a row. The first night I ordered the Asian salad and it was incredibly delicious with a peanut sauce, perfectly marinated wood fired chicken and fresh greens and other veggies. I watched the open kitchen with the wood fired oven churn out one amazing looking dish after another to the other tables and knew I had to come back. I also saw several people come in to get the pizza for takeout. The next night I returned with 5 colleagues that were in from out of town like me. We ordered the wood fired pig pizza as an app to share and everyone had the same reaction as I did "wow"! Others had the ribs with bourbon sauce, which I also tasted and they just fell off the bone and had a delicious smoky bourbon taste. We also tried the wood fired pork chops...fantastic, and I had the smash burger. You get to choose your sides and I selected the slaw which was one of the best I've ever tasted. The atmosphere and service is also top notch. This place checks all the boxes. Solid 5 stars.

I have been here twice and both the food and service is excellent. I also love the vibe, it's low lighting, tucked in a corner and very cozy. The spicy crispy shrimp is to die for and they have an excellent wine selection!

This restaurant has been under our nose for a while now and we are just now trying it. Social Hour weekdays 3-6pm and they had some pretty good items on it. For drinks I ordered the So. 7th margarita and my husband got their aged old fashioned. We both liked our drinks. We got their deviled eggs as the starter. For dinner we got the truffle pizza and the filet mignon. We were happy with everything we got! Ambiance was nice. I liked that it was loud enough for us to have our son in there without causing a scene if he was a bit talkative.

Tucked in the strip mall across the parking lot from Central Market is Cork & Pig - what a place, the food is as beautiful as the decor! Came for brunch and it was extremely busy - while unfortunately the eggs for the Benedict turned out to be overcooked, the server did everything in their power to get it re-made as quick as they could, which I appreciated. If I were to do it all over again, (which I would) I would try to arrive early to beat the rush especially on a weekend. Overall a pleasant experience on a Sunday afternoon.

Amazing!! 7 diners with us and every single drink and entree was delicious. Our out of town guests were delighted with the selection and experience. I recommend Lydia as a waitress. She was delightful, attentive but not annoying, and spot on with recommendations.

Came to Cork & Pig Tavern for a birthday dinner. The staff was lovely and the host kept checking in on us since we had 2 young kids in our party. This was much appreciated and she made our kids smile. I got the chicken sandwich. Overall, it was quite good but I thought it had a bit too much coleslaw. I felt that was the main thing I was biting into as opposed to the chicken. Otherwise, an overall fantastic experience!

As often as we have been in the vicinity of this restaurant, I can't believe we haven't been before. The restaurant is so nice and spacious. The service was amazing, from the minute we walked in and were kindly greeted, to our sweet waitress and as we excited. The menu has so many amazing options. I have shared with a few friends and they want to go and try it. My husband and I went for lunch and had the deviled eggs and the crabmeat salad to share. I cannot say enough about how delicious the crabmeat salad was. I am very picky about deviled eggs. I do not really like having bacon added, but my husband does like them that way, so I put my bacon on his. I have to say these may be the best deviled eggs I have ever had. They are even better than my own. I love cocktails, but sometimes a mocktail is what is needed. I loved the porch swing mocktail. We will definitely be back to try some of the other delicacies and cocktails.

Our server, Zoe, was so great! Our first time here. Just made happy hour! The beer & wine selection was great. I had the steak salad. 5 oz. filet was melt in your mouth tender with a wine reduction sauce YUM! Hubby had the Fish & Chips. The grease needed to be changed in the fryer but that was our only complaint. We'll be back!

First of all let me start out by saying that this place is amazing! I walked in and was greeted by two gentlemen in suits and was escorted to my table by one of them. I was waiting for my daughter so I got a chance to look around. This restaurant is very upscale, classy and clean. My server came by and I ordered something to drink. Shortly after my daughter arrived. We ordered a crab & Parmesan dip for a starter and it was delicious. For our entree we ordered The Pig and the smoked mozzarella & panchetta pizzas. They were so good! I was very impressed with this place and the awesome way in which we were treated. We'll definitely be back soon to try something else on their menu!!

Friday lunch IPA and balckefish tacos. Good spot and good atmosphere. Good IPA, good service and quick meal. The fish tacos were good, you must use all the lime to get the needed acid. There was a pleasant spice that built up very nicely. There could have been a little more seasoning on the salmon. Good overall meal.

Our server forgot to put our order in, so we ended up sitting at the table for 45 minutes without food. However, he immediately owned up to the mistake and made no excuses, which isn't something you see often and is definitely not easy in a customer facing role. Mistakes happen, but he fixed it. 10/10 service. The food was delicious once we got it. The chicken was very crispy and lightly breaded. I didn't leave the meal feeling disgustingly full. Perfect spot for a late afternoon lunch.

Both the Tavern and Tycoon are in Flower Mound, and I have not visited, but I have made stops at both Jane and now Volstead. And I have to say, I wanted to be impressed, and I just wasn't. When I went to Jane, the cocktails were not up to snuff. My visit to Volstead, the cocktail was fantastic but the ambiance and food disappointed. I came into Volstead to check out the happy hour. They have a discount on wine, and half off their signature cocktails and martinis. They make craft cocktails, which were impressive, but only have one bartender. It takes time, but they could use another. I ordered a Volstead Vesper. It is a bold martini. Josh made it well. It was well balanced. Boozy yet balanced. And I love a lemon curl. A garnish can really elevate a cocktail. Five stars for the drink. I will come back and order another one. I also ordered their spicy tuna crispy rice. It was rather a disappointment. The serving size was generous, the crunch on the rice was there, and then it fell short. The texture of the rice was on the mushier side. The tuna was NOT spicy. It had been dressed in something, but it brought absolutely NO flavor or anything to the tuna. There was a wasabi cream and a sauce (maybe eel sauce) that dressed the plate, but the tuna was bland. A little soy, citrus, yuzu, sriracha or SOMETHING to elevate and brighten the tuna would have been EVERYTHING. So it just ended up being bland tuna, on undressed avocado, on fried mushy rice with some tasty sauces. It absolutely was not spicy. And with a little something something it could have been rather tasty. Even with mushy rice. When I walked in and sat down, there was no music playing so you were just hearing conversations bouncing off the walls. After about a half hour someone decided they needed some tunes, but then it was too loud and it was hard to hear the bar tenders. I loved the decor, and again, my cocktail was really rather good. The overall feel just felt kind of sloppy. It could have been awesome, and fell short. They claim to have Southlakes best burger, and maybe that is a better choice than the tuna. I may give it a shot. It got rather popular as I was leaving, the crowd a bit more mature. And maybe that is their bag. They have great reviews and high stars, I just didn't feel it.

The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.
