Pretty good food. Service is crap. Atmosphere is great.Chocolate Lava Cake. It's expensive but worth the price. Overall pretty good.

This was such a nice restaurant, great ambience and delicious food. We hosted a goodbye dinner for a coworker here and we ended up having such a nice time. Be ready to spend $$$ like no other. The only reason I have 3 stars is because there was a roach in one of our drinks. The staffed apologized and immediately took the drink away and gave us a round of shots on the house. 3 stars is being nice at this point.

I have to start by saying I am not a big fan of kosher restaurants in general. I find them overpriced and food not as good. This was the first time I went to the Cork & Spice. There were a total of 5 of us and the service was excellent. The place is mostly a expensive pizza place with specialty pizzas for one or two. I had a caesar salad and a pasta dish which was pretty good. I did not have any of the pizza, But my wife and daughter polished it off. I found the atmosphere very nice and the whole place was nicely set up. I found the bill to be on the expensive side and overpriced for what we ate. However the food was good and if you are looking for a good kosher dairy restaurant then the Cork & Spice is a great place to go. I give it 5 stars for quality of food and service.

Great spot! The menu is unique and service is excellent. Everything I saw come out to other tables in addition to ours looked excellent. The service was good, they constantly refilled waters and asked if we wanted another drink. My watermelon salad was good but needed some more lettuce and dressing. The sea bass tacos were fresh and flavorful. I would definitely go back when I am in the area

I was in the neighborhood with my daughter and decided to grab a quick bite with her. In front of the establishment there were a group of ppl crowing the front door which made it a little uncomfortable having to ask for space to enter. Me and my daughter both had our mask on and were not greeted. I had to ask for a table. I must say the price of EVERYTHING is over priced!!! $20 for a small plain cheese pie and $14 for a glass of wine. The service and food quality gets a 2 star from me. I highly down I will be back and I highly recommend that management frequently trains staff on customer service and takes a look at their prices

You would think that finding a great kosher diary restaurant in New York would be easy but you would come to learn that it isn't.  There are maybe two (maybe 3) kosher dairy restaurants worth going to if you want to have divine melt-in-your-mouth dairy and fish masterpieces in the tristate area.  For me and the wife trekking from queens is always worthwhile when going to Cork and Slice.  First off, the ambiance is phenomenal.  You can tell how much thought went into even the minute details in the setup of the bar, the tables, the dark dyed wood walls and brick overlay - even the handles and door jams in the bathrooms were specifically chosen to set the mood that C&S was going for. In addition to the very modern interior feel, there is great music playing in the background. Once inside, the staff is noticeably attentive and we found no issue with service. In fact, our waitress often came to our table to refill our glasses with water and asked if we needed anything (as it should be, always!). Now to the best part - the FOOD!  We tried the following items, fries, eggplant polpette, fish tacos, French onion soup, Bucatini pasta , the Russian pizza and the crème Brule - not one thing didn't exceed our expectations.    The eggplant polpette, was a refreshing twist to eggplant parmesan (NOT breaded and fried), beautifully crafted and presented in a small caste iron pan.  The dish was bursting with flavors.  We opted for the fish tacos and that was a great addition to our meal, which was the ultimate bite.  It was balanced, crunchy, flavorful and brings so many different tastes in every single bite.  The fries were the perfect crisp and was the first thing we finished eating, simple yet addicting.  The home-made pasta, bucatini, was our favorite dish.  It was creamy, boiled to a perfect consistency that made a party in your mouth.  It was  a whole new take on how pasta should be made and delectable one at that.  The pizza didn't fail to impress either and was crispy and contained sparks of flavors.  Finally the dessert, hands down the best crème Brule, I've had in the longest time.  The only issue we had is that we couldn't finish the entire meal!  Highly recommended!! Big shout out to Cork and Slice once again.

Such a cute place in Cedarhurst. Convenient to the railroad. We had the grandma pie which was absolutely delicious. The cheeses and sauce were . I love to have a few drinks and the bartenders were skilled the drinks taste amazing. I have to go back to try the iced coffee. Saw one in the making and they really take their time to craft even the coffees. Worth the trip. Super friendly staff!

Went out last night for a last minute birthday dinner for my best friend and finally got to try @corkandslice Before I get started on how amazing the food was I just want to say that for me service is most important and we had a really nice waitress! Shoutout to orly she was super nice and great with her recommendations! Now onto the food... just order everything! Yes it's literally one of those places that everything taste good! Pictured are the bucatini pasta in a mushroom truffle cream sauce. Then the pan fried mozzarella, there is no explanation necessary for that, did you check out that cheese pull mac and cheese is life i don't care what anyone says! Then we got the French onion soup, pizza, fish tacos and the fish special which was grilled seabass with an amazing dipping sauce and those lemons Ended off with a crazy deep dish choc chip skillet and all was good! Guys i haven't said this in a while but you def have to try this place, trust me I know good food!!

I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is fantastic. However I don't suggest coming here on a Saturday night. We were two people got there at 10:15 and we were only seated at 12. The wait is ridiculous. Came from Brooklyn and this is the only restaurant I like in the five towns. They told us an hour wait but it ended up being 2 hours because hostess(not her fault) kept saying soon it'll be ready.

My Sunday's lunch! Nice setting and clean place. Service was great and food was delicious. I ordered sweet peach tea and Bucatini. The pasta has garlic creamy sauce with mushrooms and spinach. The weather is cold today so this high calorie hot dish hit the spot!

We kicked things off with the Zucchini Fritti--crispy fried zucchini strings that disappeared into marinara faster than anyone would admit. Then came an espresso martini that was absolutely flawless. Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced, and topped with three coffee beans symbolizing health, wealth, and happiness. After one sip, I was ready to believe in all three. For dinner, the veal cutlet Parmigiana over penne with marinara was pure comfort food done right. Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The Chicken Francese was incredibly juicy, swimming in a buttery lemon sauce over rigatoni that made it impossible to stop eating. Then came the special: Chicken Cacciatore with melted mozzarella, sautéed jalapeños, red peppers, and white wine sauce over spaghetti. It brought the heat--and I happily accepted the challenge. Dessert sealed the deal with a rainbow cookie cake layered with colorful sponge cake, covered in chocolate ganache, and finished with whipped cream. To top it all off, the staff surprised my mom with a sparkling candle that made the celebration even more special. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a great night with family. The only thing hotter than the Chicken Cacciatore was the argument over who got the last slice of cake. That's how you know you picked the right Italian restaurant.

I've also spent time in Napoli, and Via Cuma is about as authentic as it gets. The pizza genuinely reminded me of the pizza I had in Naples. The owner told us they import their ingredients directly from Napoli, including the dough, and you can absolutely taste the difference. In my opinion, this is the best Neapolitan-style pizza I've tried in New York so far, and that's saying a lot because I've tried many! The place also has a cute, quaint ambiance that makes it feel warm and inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds even more to the experience. Great pizza, great people, and a charming little spot that I'll definitely be coming back to. If you're a fan of authentic Neapolitan pizza, Via Cuma is an absolute must!

Now let's talk about the food, the tower of salad and cheese with prosciutto was well dressed. Tortelli soup hit the spot as a summer soup that included summer squash and zucchini. The server had an attitude the second he came over to us, it wasn't too busy just yet so unsure what his demeanor was about. He told us the specials and walked away. We ordered the fried calamari which came out in a timely manner. After that when we placed our entree order the server didn't come back to ask if we needed refills on anything. The entrees took a lot longer than expected. A table that came in 15 min after us got their food very fast. Once we got our entrees they were good, the food is consistently yummy here. But again our server did not come to see if we needed anything after the entrees were dropped at the table. I had the pasta with clams, it was good but lacked a flavor in the sauce. The calamari was great, crispy and flavorful. And the gnocchi bolognese was good as well, very ricotta leaning. Over all it was good but the waiter put a bad taste in one of my guests mouth which was disappointing. Overall I would give Gran paradiso another shot because they have good Italian but not rushing there due to the service.
