Still dealing with the repercussions of ordering here. I placed a delivery order online around 6:30. Not only was the delivery estimate over an hour later, but the delivery was still almost a half an hour late. They also forgot part of my order, and the two toppings I paid extra for. This pandemic has encouraged me to try new restaurants and resources to keep my meals interesting. Took a look at the online menu for Parmagianni. Called and ordered Parma salad, Shrimp Parm and Shrimp over Sautéed Spinach. This place is now on my top 10 list. Salad was excellent, dressing light, and 1/2 order was easily enough for 2. The shrimp in both dishes was obviously fresh and cooked perfectly. Sauce on the Parm dish was tasty and plentiful. Also important is that the order taker was accurate and delivery was very efficient. Placed the order with a charge card and added the tip. Delivery person was prompt, left the delivery on my front step, rang the bell and waited in his car until he saw me retrieve the order and take it in. They really do a great job here. Its rare that the entire staff of a restaurant actually gives a damn, but they do here. My girlfriend and I go there usually on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, and it cannot be beat. Meh. Why order here when there are so many other stellar Italian delivery places within the Rockville Centre. Here's what we got: Fried meatballs...my husband thought they were regular meatballs when ordering. Why fry a meatball? It was just odd. The red peppers with it were good though.... Chicken parm- was yum, but didn't come with pasta and for the price it DEF should have. Spinach- was good. They know how to do vegetables. Maybe eat here if you only like veggies . Outright bangin everytime I visit such a fantastic experience. Family style restaurants are rare, but always a great time. Those who follow my reviews know that 4 stars is fantastic. My cousin ordered catering from here yesterday. He had penne alla vodka which was the best I have ever had from a catered place, veal Marsala which was very good and veal was very tender, chicken francaise which was phenomenal, meatballs which also phenomenal, and eggplant rollatini which seemed to be the hit of the night amongst the crowd. I always read reviews, but never ever write them. This place is amazing. We had meatballs and spaghetti, margherita pie, and broccoli rabe. Food sat here for 30 min before we sat down, everything was still terrific, no soggy pasta. Broc rabe was loaded with roasted garlic and NOT swimming in oil. Parmagianni is new on the scene of the Rockville Centre restaurants in town. A town with no shortage of restaurants, include pizza places (I can think of at least 5 scattered around this town of approximately 24,000). Now it's true that Parmagianni now occupies the space formerly occupied by a vegan pizza place, and while I respect vegan's convictions, I am happy with the real stuff. Parmagianni's staff is very welcoming, as is their management. They offer regular pizzas which are bound to be giving places around town a run for their money. Their pizzas here are fresh, very cheesy, not a ton of sauce and have a nice crunch to the crust. They also offer what they are billing as "craft pies", which are custom, individual pies with a flair . . . like their "BBQ chicken pizza" , a "meat craver pizza", "calabrese pizza" and a bunch of others, and at a reasonable price tag. I'd recommend coming in when you are in town and show these folks some love, you will not regret it. read more

Also ordered a pasta with shrimp, half portion for $21, reasonable for a shrimp dinner, it was 98% pasta and four small shrimp. We've been ordering from Parmagianni every Friday since the pandemic began. Their Margherita pizza has been consistently very good. We've also expanded to parmigan sandwiches, meatball entree's, chicken and sole francaise dinners also - all extremely good. Delivery is prompt, phone staff pleasant and efficient. They really hit the spot and I have been disappointed with basic pizza slices at other places recently so it was a pleasant surprise. I agree with the reviewer below that many similar places nearby offer their meat entrees with a choice of at least salad or pasta included. However, to be fair I do not think the price of the half order of chicken Francese was $24. It is listed to order online at $18 but I'm glad to know this ahead of time now.
