These donuts are, meh. In fact, I did not find much flavor to them at all. And the appearance of them was, how shall I say, sloppy. But, the prices were extremely affordable. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price list. A glazed donut was $1.25! Cork's Donuts is the kind of place where that old adage holds true, "You get what you pay for."

Great donuts in town! So friendly here and quick service! They're always fresh and such a good selection. This place has been around since I was little and I'm so happy it's still here in Albany!

Opened bear claw with apple filling. Obviously undercooked and under-filled.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can customize or order from the house recipes. I ordered two house recipes for my first try: Powdered Sugar and Cold Brew. Here's the kicker: The donuts were warm, and warm enough to melt the powdered sugar! Bonus: The donuts are so good that even the next day when I had the Cold Brew it was still excellent! Note these are cake only (as far as I could tell), but there are gluten free and vegan options. The website pictures don't really do the selections justice. I have shared with all my donut loving friends! Get in there and get your donuts!

Then you select your glaze and toppings. I had Canadian Maple and Chai. I added sprinkles to the Chai and chocolate chip to the maple. They were so good! Hot and not greasy at all. They also weren't overly sweet which was nice. I also ordered a hot chocolate and it was the right amount of sweetness too. This is a cute little shop. The only issue might be parking if you come when it is busy, as it's street parking.

Unless sold out, they have vegan donuts and icings available. I've always been met with friendly and prompt service here, which is really nice since Monroe Ave. can be a busy place. Be sure to ask for a punch card if you don't yet have one so you can work your way to a raffle prize. While located in a small space, there are a few places to sit inside and they recently moved a large shelf along one of the walls to make room for more seating. There's also (covered) places to sit outside. Whether you're dining in or taking your stash to go, you're in for a tasty time.

Step into a small shop with a fun deathly decor of skulls and skeletons and a large display case of donuts. The fancier bars and jelly filled ones are a little more. They serve coffee and other breakfast items but we only came for the donuts. We tried donuts with chocolate and strawberry icing and sprinkles. It was indeed very delicious treat, not too sweet and moist. Definitely worth a drop in. There are a few small tables for two people to sit down and a table out two outside as well. I do wish there they had a little bit more variety of donuts but we should up after lunch so maybe we missed the other donuts.

They have a large staff, yet nobody ever wants to approach the counter or receive orders. All the employees are super rude, ignore customers even during slow times, and when you finally actually do get helped, it ends up not even being worth the time or effort because the donuts are so below the average bar. This might vary from person to person because we all have different opinions/tastes, but being that this is a small, local donut shop in a small town, everyone pretty much knows about it, and the consensus among the locals is the same as my own experience. The donuts are never fresh, they have lots of flies buzzing around the shop that also like to partake in eating your donuts. I don't like going into a place that has the same exact donuts in the display case for days without being refreshed, and on top of that, seeing flies constantly land on them and walk around in the surface of them all day, every time I've been here. I tried giving this place a lot of chances, and the flies and dirtiness of the place, that never improves every time I've tried going here, is pretty much the last nail in the coffin for me getting donuts here
