We have been going to this place since they opened ( not regularly ) quite often. Their biscuits and gravy are well worth it and there Donut's are just as good. They are affordable and much easier on the wallet to treat your self and large numbers of friends. My daughter's have gluten and dairy free restrictions and their vegan Donut's are great. Even though they can not guarantee GF my daughter has yet to have any reactions to their vegan Donut's.

Amazing. I just was in there got 3 donuts and left. Had to write immediately because they really are that good! You got to go here amazing donuts. The right amount of sweet and texture was just perfect. The best Apple fritter I have ever tasted was here!!

If you're not in the Portland area and you want the competition to Voodoo Donuts, the you should try Death by Donuts . Based in the college town of Corvallis right in front of the campus, you'll be able to try these tasty treat. You have the basic traditional donuts and then the creative donuts. Best recommendation from customers are: raspberry fritter, chocolate old fashion and mocha. All these were extremely good and different in their own way. I get a lot of donuts for meeting and I know these will be gone before I open the box. Note: dozen donuts varies in price on what you want. Street parking available.

The donuts and the coffee are great, but you never know who's gonna talk your ear off in that store!

Very rude customer service. They gave us the wrong order and then proceeded to make us pay because they had to remake the food.

Farmers market mornings and brunch this good? Tough combo to beat in Corvallis…read more After strolling through the Corvallis farmers market on a sunny Saturday morning, we popped into Odd Bird Café for brunch and completely understood why the place was packed. We grabbed a patio table instead of waiting inside and really enjoyed the atmosphere, though the QR code ordering system made things a little tough when trying to grab extra coffee, water, or ask questions without a server around. The Birdy Mary was solid but landed around a 6/10 for me, missing some of the spice and depth I personally like in a great Bloody Mary, but the hot drip coffee absolutely hit the spot. The food, though, was outstanding. My wife and I split the BLT with crispy bacon and avocado spread, paired with potatoes that were somehow crispy, soft, and packed with flavor all at the same time. Our daughter and son-in-law ordered the "I'm the Good Kind of Fat" special with house-smoked salmon, poached egg, arugula, and avocado on sourdough, and every bite looked better than the last. Odd Bird feels like one of those spots that fits Corvallis perfectly: relaxed, local, busy in the best way, and serving food that makes you want to come back next weekend. #CorvallisEats #BrunchGoals #OddBirdCafe #FarmersMarketMorning #OregonEats #FoodieFind

Rainy Day, Great Bar Seat, and One Memorable Meal…read more It was a cold, rainy Oregon afternoon when I stumbled into Castor, and I'm glad I did. There happened to be one open seat at the bar, which is my favorite place to dine when traveling. Sitting at the bar lets you talk story with the bartender, learn the menu, and watch the cocktails come together. If you're eating alone, I highly recommend grabbing a seat here. The bartender was friendly, easy to talk with, and clearly knew both the menu and the craft behind the bar. One thing that stood out right away was their use of fresh local ingredients, which really shows up in the flavor of the dishes and drinks. I started with the Golden Manhattan, made with a pecan-infused bourbon that was fantastic. It had a rich, slightly nutty flavor with warm vanilla notes and just the right touch of sweetness. Smooth, balanced, and a great way to kick off the meal. Alongside that I ordered the chorizo clam chowder, which brought a creamy base with just the right amount of spice from the chorizo. Comfort food with a little personality. For dinner I switched gears and ordered the Creole Sour. This one really stood out. Bright citrus up front, a smooth bourbon backbone, and a subtle spice note that tied perfectly into the Creole theme. It had that classic sour balance, tart, slightly sweet, and refreshing without overpowering the drink. Dinner was the gumbo with hot bread and butter, and it delivered. Deep flavor, a nice slow warmth from the spice, and hearty enough to make the rainy Oregon weather feel like part of the experience. To finish things off I kept it simple with a neat pour of Ben Holladay, which made for the perfect nightcap. The staff were welcoming and relaxed, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. This is the kind of place that works whether you're dining solo, meeting friends, out with someone special, or grabbing dinner with a group. The price point landed right where it should be for the quality of food, cocktails, and service. If you're in Corvallis and can grab a seat at the bar at Castor, take it. Order a cocktail, settle in, and enjoy the ride. It turned a rainy afternoon into one heck of a meal.

Hyper local, terrific tastes, a great dining pleasure, especially with their recess prices. I find…read moreit one of Corvallis best restaurants, Also I enjoy Del Alma.

I always enjoy my latte here. I've also tried out their sweet and creamy cold brew (a little too sweet but as a treat it was great!) and their cortado which are both solid. My go to dish is usually the acai bowl. Plenty of textures, flavors, and a good amount of sour and sweet that makes it's perfectly balanced. The only downside is that the spoons that are provided are a little big for the bowl that you are given, so you are bound to spill a little bit. The Mexican bowl is okay, but not quite my personal preference since there is more of a curry taste to it. Overall come and give Bodhi a try!

Though busy on a Wednesday afternoon (it was the day before Thanksgiving after all), we found a table and had a great meal. I loved my latte and biscuits and gravy! Everything was tastefully presented and had wonderful flavors. The portion sizes aren't too big, so don't expect a huge meal. I found the biscuits and gravy to be filling for a brunch, but someone with a bigger appetite might want to opt for something more substantial. The staff did a great job getting many orders out in a fairly short amount of time, and based on my meal, they weren't sacrificing quality in the process. The cafe norms are pretty standard for a seat-yourself cafe where you order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter, and bus your own table. I found Bodhi Cafe and Bakery to be exactly what I needed, and look forward to returning.
