So excited we got to stop by again! It was cold out today, but we were able to get some of their amazing hot tea to start off the meal. We were so stuffed we had to get to go boxes. Our server was so lovely. She made the amazing meal so great. We got seated right away and relaxed and enjoyed a great meal. Highly recommend!

If you want to have a quick lunchie (small beer) Amazing bowl of chili (with smoked meat from OMC) or a simple but perfect grilled cheese with ham. Corktown is your place. This classic spot which has moved in recent years, has a lot of cool heritage hence the name.... From the company that owns the grill, the food the service is 10 out of 10. This is a must stop every time going through Duluth if you want to sit down and have a meal and a beer or if you want to get food to go. You will not be dissatisfied. With their new spot, it's good for bigger groups, small groups and even a little bar if you're just eating by yourself! Overall, one of my favorite places to eat in Duluth and the quality is the reason why I come back again and again!!

We got takeout, but definitely a sit down kind of place. Staff was super nice and helpful and the order was ready really fast. I had the spicy dill fried chicken sandwich and adored it. Tough to eat in the car but worth it.

Wonderful sandwich shop in Duluth! We were trying to get our usual northern waters smokehouse fix as we drove through but it was too busy. Tried this place out and was not disappointed! Prices are pretty comparable and the sandwiches are pretty on par if we're to compare the two. We ate outside and they have a nice patio section we could bring our pets to and enjoy our food. Would swing by again. If in the area and were in the same situation.

Waitress was joyful as well as helpful. It was our first time eating there and she helped me make a good choice "the meat your match" The restaurant it self has an old school feel but bright and chipper. Next time I'm in the area definitely hitting this up again!

Reuben bowl that just happens to be low-carb

We haven't been to the new location since it moved, and we decided to check it out. So glad we did. We both went with variations of the Reuben; the regular and the angry Reuben. Both were spectacular! For side dishes, I went with the brussel sprouts, which were superb. Usually I really like the sprouts at Burger Paradox, but I actually enjoyed these more. The peppers on top offered a welcome little flair, as well as a nice little pop of heat. Less saucy/oily than the Korean sprouts served at the sister establishments, which I still love. Hubby got the cole slaw, and I sampled it and wow! I've gotta figure out that recipe! So delicious. Prices are like anywhere else in town. Service was great! Probably the best we've had in a long time. Thanks Stephanie & Corktown! We'll definitely be back.

This is an upscale tapas menu, expect small plates and a surprising mix of delightful, seasonal flavors. We enjoyed the trio of dips, our favorite was the muhammara--roasted pepper and walnut with citrus and pomegranate seeds. We added on an extra pita to soak up every bite. Next was the dolma, a delicious combo of flavors and twist on the traditional. The kale salad was perfectly dressed and grilled peach added just the right sweet contrast. The Lake Trout with couscous was outstanding but my favorite part of the plate was the chermoula--a tangy, herby olive oil concoction that I must replicate. The chef came by to talk to us and answer our questions. We each enjoyed a signature cocktail, I highly recommend the Limonada 75, an Italian take on the French 75 with limoncello. We wrapped up our experience sharing the Olive Oil Cake with a rhubarb compote and generous dollop of fresh whipped cream. We will absolutely be back, we have to try the halloumi, which was unavailable, and the pasta at the table next to us looked tasty. There was also plenty of variety for a vegetarian/pescatarian to choose from. Alto Pino is expensive, but worth it. A dinner shared between three people including sharing 4 small plates, dessert, drink, and 20%+ tip came out to about $70 each. You are also paying for the experience of tasting something new and unlike anything else offered in Duluth. Reservations were easy to make online, you should make yours today! PS I'd love to see their twist on traditional Spanish tapas like patatas bravas or pan con tomate on the menu!

I started with the Tempura Fried Cauliflower appetizer, which ended up being my favorite dish of the night! You can choose between sambal aioli or crabapple BBQ sauce -- I had the aioli drizzled on top and the crabapple sauce on the side, and it was amazing. I'm not usually into autumn spice flavors, but the crabapple sauce was subtle, slightly smoky, and paired beautifully with the crispy cauliflower. For my entrée, I had the Coconut Curry Bowl. It was flavorful and hearty, though a bit strong and salty for my personal taste. They also offer a kids' menu with generous portions (I've included a photo for reference -- grilled chicken, fries, and veggies). Overall, great vibes, friendly service, and a wonderful cause. We loved supporting a non-profit restaurant dedicated to the arts and community development!

It was really cool that he took that time to let us know about the locally sourced ingredients! The ambiance is casual but elegant. Like the details of the decor are absolutely stunning. Now let's talk about the food: the menu has some really creative options even for vegetarians, which I feel I've been hard-pressed to find in Duluth. I had their cashew queso bowl, which includes seasoned black beans, potato, onion, green pepper, roasted garlic salsa, pickled onion and microgreens all on top of the cashew queso. My husband had the breakfast burrito which is a flour tortilla filled with sausage, egg, seasoned potatoes, mild cheddar cheese and roasted garlic salsa. The food is so delicious and the portions are generous. Oh, I also had their chocolate pistachio latte, and my husband had the drip coffee. They have VERY good coffee here. The owner, Cade, is THE shit. Just look for the tall guy with the sweet hair and badass button up shirt and you'll know him when you see him. Best part is because he's so cool, all the people he hires to work for him are cool, thus the people that frequent there are cool, so by going there YOU are COOL by association.
