Atmosphere is really cool. Server was not present very much and the food was average. Would probably return due to the novelty of it though.

Had the chicken and wild rice soup. Excellent. Highly recommend this local favorite. Great service also. Helps it's winter and slow.

Server was nice, building smelled like a retirement home and the prices were very high. The food on special was good and normal price

In Summary: This is the best BBQ you are going to find in Duluth and the North Shore. So, stop…read moresearching and drop by here on your way up. The Details: For those of you who know me, you know I take a Bar B Que review seriously. So here goes! The Service was outstanding! Admittedly, people are nice in Duluth, but Sarah F went above and beyond. We should have been a terrible table for her... two dudes, a little girl, and a dog. However, she was gracious and patient, right from the start. When we treated her well and started talking BBQ, she brought out the team. Thank you to the front manager Sam who chatted us up. A special thank you to pitmaster Josh and Sean who rolled up their sleeves and talked Turkey.... Literally!!! The ambiance is perfect! Shaded outdoor space during the day was a huge plus! It was perfect! On to the food.... This is a traditional Southern Pride propane/wood smoked BBQ. I am personally not a fan of these smokers, but OMC did well. I found the St louis ribs to be the best cook of them all, with perfect tenderness. The brisket has solid seasoning with plenty pepper. The poblano corn was a fun side! Overall, a great little find in Duluth.

First of all....amazing food! We are from the Cities and were in town for a long weekend and…read morewanted to try some local places. We were swayed to try this place due to other Yelp reviews and are so thankful we did! We started with an appetizer of fries. These were SO good! Perfect combination of crisp and soft and served with tasty sauces to dip in. The main courses were wonderful. I had the chicken burrito bowl which was a flavor explosion of fabulousness! Huge portions with plenty to take home. My husband had the burger and raved about the flavor combination. He would have liked the ability to choose how he wanted it prepared as he prefers more of a medium rather than done burger. My daughter and cousin both got sandwiches and enjoyed them completely. The side items at our table also got raving reviews including the cream corn, the grits, and the fritters. Nothing was sub par! My granddaughter did not like her Mac and cheese as it was made from scratch and not a box and the flavors were a little more adult than she is. :). The only negatives we had were minor. Kids receive a menu with a coloring page but no crayons. Hard to occupy them with just a picture. The second is the inability to have your burger done to your taste. The last was the server was not very attentive. We had to ask for drink refills and she promptly forgot to fill them. Didn't check in enough to see if we were ok. However, the person who brought out the food was super good and helped increase the service rating. Overall, because of the quality of the food we would recommend and return ourselves. They have a wonderful patio for outdoor dining and we would love to try that in the future. Even though we were there during the lunch rush, it was not too loud to hold conversation and it felt very homey! Perfect summer evening venue!

It was a bit chilly today, but those pickled jalapenos really helped. The seating was nice. It's great it was dog friendly, but I would recommend going on a warmer day, Iif you're bringing your furry friends. We had the bbq burger(added jalapenos) w/onion rings and poutine. I usually end up not liking the poutine at places, but will try it. Here, I actually really liked it, and will definitely get it again. The same for the onion rings, they were crispy and not too greasy. We also got the inhouse made root beer. That was quite good as well.

Located right on the bike path…read moreon Lake Superior this place offers a bit of nostalgia, scenic views, shopping, and eating and drinking. I can wax poetic about wandering around the building but, that can be for another time. The brewhouse is a cool place to hang after you've become weary of hitting all the shops on Canal street. Nestled in the old brewery you will experience first and foremost some solid beers (take some crowlers home with you), and some decent food. I think we at lunch here three times? I think one kind of gets tricked into eating here. One starts with a couple beers, then an appetizer, and the next thing you know, you're onto an entree without giving it a second thought. Honestly, I don't think I had anything or tasted anything that was bad. My favorites here are: 1. Poutine: fries, cheese curds, bacon and gravy? that is always a winner. 2. Elote Dip is super good. I'd fight somebody for the last scoop of the dip. 3. the Pretzels are good. Love the cheese sauce....I would ask for mustard too, but that is just me. 4. Pimento Cheeseburger is a favorite like the little bit of kick it offers with the Jalapenos, and it was made medium rare for me to boot I did try a bit of the Wild Rice burger. It was OK, non-meat options are not my gig for a burger. the person who ordered this, truly enjoyed it. I also want to mention the their beer is fresh, well-made, and there is usually a taproom only beer available. I have missed it the last few years but, they had a barleywine that was outstanding. I hope that comes back. If you're in Duluth it is totally worth the stop. Eat some food, drink some beers, buy some merch and support this local treasure.
