This was a decent Philly cheesesteak. It wasn't the best ever but it is hard to find a half decent cheesesteak anywhere and this place did that. I would recommend not getting the whiz cheese though because it was very watery and it gets very messy. I would recommend provolone instead. Overall a good sandwich. Haven't been here in years and we were craving a cheesesteak so made our way to corleones. The food was good not great. I would recommend adding extra cheese if you are getting provolone as you could barely tell there was cheese in the sandwich. Overall it was lacking flavor which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The service was great. Both the gentleman working were very friendly so not sure why people have had a bad experience on that front. Overall i don't think the price point is worth it but maybe if i got the cheese wiz i would feel differently. read more

The food service and ambience are always top notch. Whenever you walk in there you feel like you're in Philly. Took some of my friends there from Michigan on their way to the airport and they loved it. I've been there many times I finally tried their cheese pizza, which was just as good as the Philly cheesesteaks.. the pizza reminded me of Atlantic City, Boardwalk pizza. If you haven't been, I definitely recommend you go and try it. My favorite is the beef Italiano comes with provolone cheese mushrooms, spinach onions, the best. Forefather's shits on this place and it's not even close. Go back to Philly, we have too high of standards for your street corner cart food. Paid $15 for a small cheesesteak and fries. Fries are greasy and soggy. Cheesesteak doesn't have enough meat and the meat that's in there isn't even good. Bread doesn't taste fresh. Ranch is awful, just stick with ketchup. Food - I've been to Corleone's plenty of times, and enjoy their food. I've really only ever had their pizza bc I like it that much lol. They sell by the slice, as well as full pizzas. I also like their French fries, always made to order & really crispy. Awesome and love that they have a toppings bar to add all your peppers. From other reviews I've read that say the staff could be better, that's totally true. A gritty little place touting a philly cheesesteak and pizza tucked so inconspicuously among other unremarkable shops in this glorified strip mall it has to be a destination eatery to be successful. There's a dining room with a couple of televisions devoted to sports. The cue is not well marked but I an employee came up to take my order. I ordered a $14.00 cheesesteak and was told they use cheez whiz. The Sandwich came up within three minutes. It was hot, wrapped in foil and smelled good. The shaved steak was acceptable with grilled onions mixed in on a warm fresh chewy roll. Unfortunately, the cheese sauce completely overpowers the meat turning the sandwich into a salty gooey mess that was impossible to enjoy. Next time I'll have the pizza. read more

My family is from Philly so I'm skeptical oh cheese steaks places claiming to be authentic (especially when they use cheez-whiz lol) but it was surprisingly good and they had other cheese options (provolone for the win!) and the type of bread they used was what i was accustomed to (compared to chain places that use basic sub bread) . Glorious cheese whiz, oh how it has been missing in my life until now! My dad and I have been on a sandwich/hoagie kick lately and decided to give Corleone's a try...boy are we glad we did! On arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff and a pretty cool environment. There were giant pizzas on display that looked delicious, and the smell of steak fries wafted in the air. The restaurant is not fancy by any means, but it makes you feel like you are in Philly. Rocky movies are playing on the TVs and there are pictures and signs all over relating to the city; it's a fun upbeat atmosphere. After much deliberation over the menu we went with a buffalo chicken hoagie and an original cheez whiz cheesesteak. They gave us a number and we headed over to get fresh peppers and condiments at the little bar area they have set up. Something about free peppers makes you feel giddy inside. We waited a while for our food but it was obvious they were making it all fresh to order. The fries that I smelled walking in looked amazing, next time I'm getting fries! Our food arrived hot and ready to be devoured. My dad enjoyed his buffalo chicken and I loved my original with cheese whiz. Holy smokes I need more cheese whiz in my life! Corleone's isn't exactly cheap, but it doesn't break the bank either. We enjoyed our food and experience and will be back to try more goodies on the menu! read more

Where do I start! I love Love everything about this place! I first fell in love with the original Philly wit cheese and onions in 2008 working close by. Since moving back to AZ this is my weekly lunch spot and the Team that works there is AMAZING...Day or night! I recently fell in love with the pizza as a nightly pick-up treat. By far best pizza on the go, and considerably comparable to sit down restaurant. Regardless my opinion, yummy- great food and best service! I also live closer to a location other there than 16th and Camelback spot, but they are my Favs and have Pizza unlike Northsight in Scottsdale... well worth the drive or delivery fee. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would all based on an awful employee, who is a manager, who yelled at me in store shortly after noon, based off a mistake he made. Our order was made and was given to us wrong. My parents and I had called back, after driving 40 minutes each way, to and from to have corleones. We spoke to Matthew on the phone who had lied saying he took the order, but on our receipt says Casey took our order... we called back, explained the issue, and Matthew took my name to replace the meal at a later time since the drive was too far there and back to be reasonable... Now, today, I come in to pick up our replacement meal... Casey, not only YELLED at me (where I had to ask him to lower his voice) with my 7 month daughter in store seated with my sister behind me in line, in the seats, in store, over his mistake, he refused to even attempt to correct HIS initial mistakes. He told me bring a receipt and he will fix it. I asked for his name, said I will drive back to my place 30 minutes away, and will be back for the Correct order that he said he'll give once I can prove with a receipt. I came home, have my receipt and found the person who messed up the order in the first place Was CASEY! So, I called back, asked for the manager and low and behold, it is Casey. He then tried to claim he doesn't work Wednesdays even though I informed him I would be back in with the receipt from a Wednesday date and said I cannot come in unless they noted it... well, that is not my problem that he's a unorganized, messy, lying "manager" who YELLS at their customers. My Family has been coming to corleones for over 12 years. Casey is an incredibly immature, irrational and shit "manager" who LIES and yells at people, nonetheless a woman with her baby behind her.... Disgusting and this review will be cross posted and widely shared among my family's community. We decided to go to the Camelback location since it was closer to our home. Upon walking through the door I was unimpressed. Guy taking the order seemed as if he didn't want to be there with a poor attitude. (I don't buy the whole east coast mentality and this is the way they are.) You live in AZ. If your goal is to be shitty, then stay on the east coast. Kitchen and dining area were disgustingly filthy. Floors sticky, tables dirty, seats all ripped up and hi-chair looked like it never seen a cleaner before. The owners should be doing a better job with the upkeep of this establishment. $50 plus for 3 sandwiches, 2 fries and 2 drinks. Pizza and wings were good but wouldn't go out of my way to come here for them. I couldn't give it five stars for the fact that it was pretty grimy inside. Tables didn't seem cleaned, high chair was filthy and it just felt dirty. It looked like it wasn't a new thing that it wasn't being cleaned - the thermostat on the wall had a black layer of dirt on top. Corleone's is a top spot for me when I'm craving a good cheesesteak. Everything is very fresh, the meat is tender and overall have an amazing sandwich. Unfortunately, there are times when the meat or the fries I get are something too salty. It doesn't take away from the experience for me but it's good to note. The service is great and the staff is very attentive to what you want and need. The ambiance is very fast and it gives me a historical feel for some reason. read more

The customer Service here is trash and worth the drive to another location. I sent my husband to get 4 sandwiches, 2 regular size and 2 small since they are suppose to be BOGO free on Tuesday. My shoes literally stuck to the floor, every table was covered in food and sticky soda, the high chair had what looked like feces on it (hoping it was just baby food), and the bathroom was terrifying. They really do make a good sandwich, especially the Philly cheesesteak w/ fried onions and provolone cheese. ;o) But you can get it wit Cheese-Wiz if your a Philly-phille. The staff is always friendly (I think they have been there since it opened!). Unfortunately, this Corleone's (Scottsdale) took out the pizza oven, so no pizza. :o( - I still think it was one of the best offered nearby. I ordered a cheese steak with provolone. I didn't see any provolone. So I contacted the restaurant the guy tells me it's on top and insisted on calling me a liar. Then said it was in the middle I didn't see any provolone. They ripped me off and didn't want to fix it. I will be contacting my bank and get the charges reversed. I will preface my review by saying that I haven't actually eaten their food- my experience is based on picking up a DoorDash order. This restaurant is absolutely disgusting on the inside. Grease coats the glass surrounding where they prepare the food. You can even see it dripping in some spots. The pizza oven is also coated in burnt-on food residue. Its dusty, dark, and old looking. It's as if this place never gets cleaned. It is a wonder that they are even still in business. If I were a health inspector I would shut the place down and make them clean it up.
