Freshly fried chicken that's really good--very juicy and flavorful. It's a bit on the saltier side, but perfect for my taste. The collard greens were decent, just average. The brewed sweet iced tea was good as well. The service was welcoming and quick. the place is spacious and organized, kind of like a diner but serving fried chicken. I also love the music they play.

I LOVE this location! A coworker took me for a Belated Birthday lunch, as she knows this is one of my fave spots. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes and tried the Hush Puppies....soooo good. If you didn't know, everything is cooked fresh when ordered. The chicken is always cooked perfectly...crisp on the outside and juicy on then inside. The Fried Okra literally stayed hot the entire meal. Our server was great and it's always nice and clean. Definitely a place to check out.

The food was delicious. This gave us a taste of the South while on our trip to Arizona.

Needed a quick bite after my flight at around 2:00ish. Ordered online and walked from the hotel- the online thing said it would be about 15 minutes but I ended up waiting about 20-25 minutes. I had asked for utensils, but they weren't included so eating the Mac and cheese was a bit hard since my hotel didn't have silverware easily accessible. I got the chicken sandwich combo which came out to a little over $15. It was a large sandwich but very small mac and cheese side. The chicken was alright but I wish there was more flavor and it was less stringy. Wasn't impressed and wouldn't try the sandwich again- but possibly a different menu item? They had plenty of indoor seating at 2:00-2:30. Kind of an industrial vibe inside. They have a parking lot you can park in.

A top go to for fried chicken! I love how juicy and crispy their chicken is! It is southern style so think of that cayenne flavoring to give it a slight kick. Casual dine in or takeout place for lunch for dinner. Highly recommend their 1/2 chicken plate, sandwich, and corn nuggets! Their service is always friendly and kind!

We love Gus's! My favorite thing is the chicken sandwich. My date got an all leg plate hahaha I don't think him and I are going to last long. But he did pay so I might go on another date with him.... I'll keep you updated. Def get the sweet potato pie. I haven't tried the other pies because in my mind the sweet potato pie is the only pie that I will ever love. The fries are super good and also the staff is super nice and friendly. 10/10 will return again!

I came into Gus's craving fried chicken but left a little disappointed. Mostly it's the prices. The food was ok, just ok. For the price, I was hoping for this menu and flavor to be a wow experience... sigh... disappointed.

Outing before the game with friends at Gus's. I ordered the catfish special that came with coleslaw and fries. Catfish was spicy and cooked right, had a great taste. Fries were good but coleslaw was just okay. Also ordered fried green tomatoes, they forgot about them. When we ate them was not that great like other location tried. Our waitress did provide great service and nice positive energy, forgot her name but we're there today around 12ish. Inside had a a lunch of lunch table style seating.

Small restaurant surrounded by a little strip mall. Every table occupied as well as their seating looking into the kitchen. I was able to try them when they had a booth @ a festival and promised myself self to try their brick and mortar. Made to order, hand battered fried chicken. Not to be confused with Nashville hot Chicken, they serve southern spicy fried chicken & they make all of their southern sides in-house daily. It's been awhile since I have been to a place where I loved everything on my plate. But this is definitely one of them! I waited almost 20 minutes for my order to go but it was worth every second and every minute. The girl that took my order was very friendly. While waiting, I noticed all the servers being very attentive and friendly, checking in with their tables. The chicken was just enough spicy. The mac and cheese had some kind of orange seasoning on top and it was creamy, cheesy, just damn good. Potato salad, the right amount of mustard and soft but chunky, exactly how I like potato salad. They really know what they're doing here. And I will be returning very soon again!

Service was amazing. It was a very comfortable and clean environment. The store manager was friendly and spoke with us for a minute to see how we enjoyed our time there. The fried chicken was golden brown and crispy, well seasoned and very delicious. I was not a fan of the sides dishes. Mac n cheese was just OK and the greens mid, but those fried green tomatoes were my favorite. I will go back for the chicken and try something new..

I love their chicken. The greens too. The service is bomb. The place is clean and bright.

Placed a pick up order and upon arriving to pick up the service was very prompt. As soon as you walked in, they ask what's your name and had your order ready to go. Very friendly staff. I ordered two piece of white meat and two piece, dark meat, one with a side of potato salad, and the other with beans and coleslaw. The chicken was soft and paired very well with the sides. It's a good portion size for one or can be shared.

They noticed that I had accidentally overpaid and came to me to issue a refund, without me even realizing it! They still made my exact same meal with no issues at all. That level of honesty and care is rare. To make the experience even more special, it was my son's birthday. The manager noticed he had a Super Mario plushie and went out of their way to bring him crayons and coloring paper featuring the same character. It completely made my son's day Great food, kind and attentive staff, and genuine care for their customers. Tried Fly Bye on Camelback and I'll just say it: this was a classic "great deal, a couple tweaks…read moreaway from greatness" situation. I called in my order at 11:20am and got quoted 25-30 minutes for the lunch special. It was ready right around that window, which immediately put me in a good mood because nothing ruins lunch faster than staring at a pickup counter like it owes you money. The guy behind the counter was friendly and even tossed in a sample of 'copy cane' sauce for me to try on my sandwich. I ordered the lunch special (pepperoni pizza slice + Caesar salad, no drink) and added the chicken sandwich with fries. (Fries were only $1 add on!) Starting with the chicken, flavor was solid. Chicken was seasoned and the hoagie was legit. But the lettuce comes ranch-tossed like it's training for a swimming event. It tastes good but if you wait too long to eat it, the bread starts turning into a sponge and the sandwich becomes more "salad in loaf form." The Cane's-clone sauce was 100% needed--once I added it, everything clicked. Now the fries were cooked well done, crispy, and exactly the texture I like. They were just a touch dry, so ketchup wasn't a suggestion--it was a requirement. With ketchup, they're great. The real value winner was the pizza + ceasar. The slice is big and absolutely worth the $10 on size alone. Also: A+ pepperoni choice. They use those small cupping pepperonis (Grimaldi's style) instead of the big greasy ones, and I respect that decision deeply. Only downside: the center was slightly undercooked--that gooey middle happened on a few bites, and I'm not a "wet pizza" person. The salad was fresh and the dressing had great flavor and depth, the croutons felt home made and the whole situation, even portion size, was enjoyable. Would I come back? Yeah. I'd give it another shot because the bones are good and the price is right. Next time I'm ordering the sandwich no tomato and no ranch-tossed lettuce, so I can control the sauce per bite instead of letting it control me. Also worth noting: I signed up for their rewards program and got $10 off, bringing my total to $15--which made this whole lunch feel like a small financial victory with gas at $5 a gallon!

It looks like they want you to use a big kiosk to order, and I started to do that, but didn't see any way to do "easy sauce" on my sandwich so I ended up asking one of the real employees if they could help me, which they did. After ordering, my name was on a screen with approximate wait time for my food. Something like 8 minutes, so... maybe not the fastest food, but at least it's prepared to order. The grilled chicken caesar sandwich I ordered was tasty enough and the strawberry lemonade was nice and tart. While I was waiting for my food, another customer called out to me and loudly made sure I knew the restaurant was offering a free milkshake if I wrote them a 5 star review on Google. It made me question the star rating I'd seen before coming in. In the end, my chicken sandwich was good. Not the best I've ever had, but nothing wrong with it, and good taste. The restaurant was clean and brightly lit. Comfortable atmosphere, and parking was easy. Prices seemed fair to me. We didn't get sandwiches but looking around you could see they are massive and likely no fries needed. They had a good range of hot flavors all the way from mild and southern up to "what the cluck" with Carolina reaper peppers. We went with mild (good for the kids and my father) and medium (definitely enough heat for us). It took like 20 min before they ordered drinks and 30 min plus before drinks were delivered! Crazy right? The first visit I got the burger and fries and it was delicious. Also it had gristle and fat. For $44 it was a waste of good meat and I'm not one to ask a cook to throw it back in the grill when they should know how to produce different levels of cooked steak. The ambiance is a chill dim lit vibe and easy for conversations so that was great! The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Great mirror lighting too. But the front layout is odd, the hostess stand is right there so everyone crams in front of door and there's no barrier to the first large table so you're like staring at the poor people eating at that first long table lol! I think they need to switch up the entry layout and put up a half wall or decorative situation to tuck away that table a bit too. Just my two cents. Overall, I'd go again but it would be really nice if management saw this and trained staff on how to greet table sooner, take drink orders, and deliver said drinks timely for a more pleasant dining experience.
