    Zero flop

Serving the valley since 1997, this family-owned pizzeria is known for its New York-style thin crust pizza, wings, and my favorite place for meatball subs. They have a daily special for 2 slices and a drink for $7.50, but today I just stopped for a slice of sausage. Pat's pizza is perfectly thin with a good undercarriage and zero flop; you can taste the quality mozzarella and tangy sauce--a perfect New York slice. They are always busy, another good sign. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Tried a slice of pizza and an order of stuffed shells. Upon entering this place, there was a seafood smell which doesn't make sense. Also, when you start putting tape over prices, it just looks sloppy. Food was not good. The slice had a miserable crackerish crust, while the shells hDca cold gob of ricotta inside some undercooked shells. Plus it had no mozzarella cheese baked on top.

Loved this little place! Basic offerings, really nothing truly fancy but EVERYTHING was delicious! All ingredients were fresh and everything tasted like it was made from scratch. Items, that in a lesser restaurant, might have been frozen (and tasted as such) were clearly hand made. This place will definitely stay on our Phoenix list for future trips.

I'm not sure what the Plus in Pats Pizza is referring to but I enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza mid day. I was in and out within 5 minutes, which is the way grabbing a slice of pizza should be. I'd definitely Come back for a quick slice again.

Dishonest business and will not come back. We ordered a speciality pizza. It is not a large one and it did not come with 6 ingredients. It costs 25 dollar.

Been our go to for many years for a classic thin crust pizza. The cheese or cheese and sausage are our favs.

Food and service were both terrible and it was very over priced. Not sure who the current owner is, but this place really went downhill.

After looking over the menu, we started off with Francesco's frittura to share. This dish tasted fine, nothing outstanding. For our main entrees we ordered the brown butter seared scallops with sweet corn risotto and the shrimp fradiavolo. Both of these entrees were outstanding in their own respect. The risotto was subtly sweet and not heavy or rich. Additionally, the scallops were nicely seasoned and not overcooked. The shrimp fradiavolo was mildly spicy and the spaghetti was perfectly al dente. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered the tiramisu to share. It was nice and fluffy, and not too sweet, which we prefer. Overall, service was friendly, patient, and attentive. The ambiance was comfortable and intimate with lots of indoor seating and some outdoor patio seating. I highly recommend making reservations in advance if you plan on coming here. After our great experience, we will definitely be back to try out some of their other dishes!

It absolutely pains me to have to do this but it's been bothering me for a while and I cannot just…read morelet it slide. I've been coming here religiously for 4.5 years since moving to AZ. My two favorite dishes that never miss are the Lasagna and the Chicken Parm. Like clockwork, it has always been impeccable. Sadly my most recent experience will likely be my last experience. I ordered the Chicken Parm and when it came out there was something missing from my plate. Instead of the usual Rigatoni Pasta with Vodka Sauce there were a couple of stale chunks of potatoes and some sorry looking asparagus spears. I asked the bartender where is the pasta. She responded that it no longer comes with pasta and that I could order some at an additional charge. It was at that moment that I knew I would never return again. Never in my entire life have I ever ordered Chicken Parm at an Italian Restaurant and not have it come with pasta. That is like ordering a hamburger and it doesn't come with a bun. Then they tell you that you are more than welcome to order a bun at an additional cost. It was like the ultimate slap in the face. I understand that businesses are under financial pressure in these tough times. I can assure you though that this restaurant does not suffer from this fate. There is simply zero excuse for this type of behavior from ownership. Their meals are already priced near the top of the market here in Scottsdale, and rightfully so as their food is top tier. But to raise prices and then remove a staple item off of the menu is asinine. Again, I really do not like writing negative reviews for businesses because I am a fellow business owner as well. However the consumer in me cannot stand for this type of treachery. I am sick and tired of paying more and getting less. This is not meant to deter others from experiencing this place. It is meant to let management that loyal customers are dissatisfied with their business practices. Finally, I am not a cheapskate either. I always tip at least 30% which is way above the average. I am not tone-deaf, I sympathize with restaurant staff and wage gaps so every little bit helps in the service industry.
