Walked into this place with zero expectations. I've never heard of it before but saw it while driving by. Luckily it was a Tuesday which I learned was 55 cent wing day. I ordered 5 boneless medium and a side salad. While I sat in the dining room and waited about 15 minutes I read the story printed on the wall of the founder of Buffalo Spot. I love it when places put a personal touch on them by sharing their story. The wings and salad were served and I was delighted to find a fresh salad with tomatoes and cucumbers (I asked for no onion). The veggies were not wilted and sad like side salads at a lot of lunch spots. It was delicious! The boneless wings were perfect! Tender quality chicken with a very light batter. They were juicy and crispy at the same time. The medium sauce had a lot of heat but not too much, don't think I could go any hotter though. And let me finish this review by saying they make in house one of the best ranch dressings I have ever had and they aren't shy about giving u plenty. Well, I wasn't (positively) impressed by this place. Here are some things that come to mind. 1.). The employee who took my order was polite, but wasn't well versed in product knowledge. She offered "special sauce". When I asked what it was, she couldn't tell me and pointed to a refrigerator, instead. 2.). I think they forgot my order. I thought that the chicken fillet should fill the bun, while not mine it looked like they gave me one of the last pieces that was sitting because it was over cooked and dry. Not any Mango Habanero sauce on it. The fries were ok, the ranch that was Amazing When you think about the fountain drinks this was good because a lot of places do not change the filtration system on those and sometimes it taste quite flat or plain nasty. On the recommendation of a co-worker I ordered the Garlic Parmesan .These wings are meaty, tender, crunchy, and coated with a flavorful seasoning. I could have ate wings all day. Buffalo Spot serves their wings with your choice of Homemade Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing and the ranch dressing is so good. This place is the worst. I went to get food on my 15 minute break, was told that it was going to take 15 minutes to make after I had already paid (15 minutes for a chicken sandwich and fries??) The manager said "the cooks have been weird since they've gotten here" which still does not make any sort of sense or justify anything in the slightest. I then wasted my entire break and then some waiting for food that wasn't ready, leaving me both hungry and exhausted for the duration of my shift. I ended up coming back for my food after my shift with no apology, no refund, and was still asked to pay for ranch with my meal despite all of the previous issues. As if this wasn't bad enough, I got back to my apartment and the sandwich was one of the worst I've ever had. I'm a huge chicken sandwich fan and have been wanting to try this place for months, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The fries were soggy and the chicken was over cooked or something? I'm not really sure what was going on but this was definitely top 2 worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had.
