Great place to come for a cheesesteak! I came on a Monday around the end of lunch and my sandwich was ready super quickly. Some other places skimp, but I got a good amount of cheese whiz on my cheesesteak without it being too overwhelming. I got a large sandwich with no fries and I was satisfied but not too full. Sometimes a cheesesteak for lunch can be too filling but this was perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting but since it was nice out I decided to eat on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I liked that they had a designated parking lot so unless it's really busy you probably don't need to worry about parking.

    The menu!

The food here is second to none! Cheesesteaks are off the Charts good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] customer service is spot on! I wish more establishments would learn from this family ran restaurant!

Ambiance: Great for a quick bite for lunch. Cleanliness: Very well maintained. The kitchen was spotless all the way up to the stove vents. Taste: So flavorful and juicy... Best Philly steak I have ever had in PHX. The quality continues to remain the same throughout the years. Service: A husband and wife run this place and the service is always top tier. They are so friendly and you can tell they love what they do. Overall: Such a great mom and pop shop with incredible quality and service. I hope this place continues to thrive in our community. Bring cash to tip as they don't have a tip option when you pay.

4-Point Review Food - Stopped in to try out their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and it was one of the best I've had outside of Philadelphia! I technically got what they call a "Bomb Philly" which is just the cheesesteak sandwich but loaded with american cheese, grilled onions, Mushrooms, Pepperoncini, and Sweet Peppers. So good, even the bread they use is custom made for their cheesesteaks. Service - It was my first time stopping in, and they had my sandwich freshly made just a few minutes after I ordered! Great staff Atmosphere - Small little lunch spot, with limited tables inside, but tons of outside tables right on Central Ave. Guess they've been here since 1995, one of the staples of Downtown/Central Phoenix Sustainability Rating (8/10) - I went inside and ate there, they only had styrofoam cups and I believe one time use cutlery for their dine-in experience. They could at least switch those to reusable utensils for in-person dining

One of those typical small establishments were you already know the food is going to smack. Friendly staff. Good pricing. I got a Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. Onion rings was good well, not greasy or burnt. The Philly melted in you mouth. But be careful cause these Phillies come at you hot!! Ever bite was as good as the first one. I could see why this was highly recommended.

Good service, but cheesesteak was not all that. No bad but, not somewhere I would go back too. Tested like the grill needed to be cleaned.

You can go wrong with the steak or chicken in your cheesesteak. The pizza is always a good option. It feels like you're in another world with all the Philadelphia sports memorabilia and a Rocky or Creed movie playing. Definitely worth the trip and it's Food Jones foodie approved.

I ended up at Corleone's Cheesesteaks in Phoenix, AZ purely out of necessity and mild desperation…read more I was staying in the most random part of town, and for reasons I still don't understand, my hotel did not have a real restaurant. Well... it technically did, but it was a BBQ spot and I just wasn't in the mood. So, naturally, I turned to Yelp like the modern traveler I am. After scrolling through nearby options, nothing really spoke to me... except cheesesteaks. And once that idea entered my brain, there was no turning back. I immediately thought, "Heck yeah, I'm in." Keys were grabbed. Car was started. Mission accepted. When I arrived, I noticed it was a smaller shop, but that's usually a good sign. I walked in and was immediately distracted by the pizzas displayed in the window and the massive pizza oven in the back, very promising. Then I checked out the menu and locked in my order: a regular cheesesteak with Whiz, onions, and green peppers, plus a side of fries. Simple. Classic. Correct. The fries came out first, and let me tell you, hot, crispy, and exactly what fries should be. No soggy nonsense here. Then came the cheesesteak. I asked the manager for some pepperoncini's, and instead of just handing me a few, he pointed me to this full-on condiment bar. I'm talking pepperoncini's, pickles, and a whole lineup of extras. A choose-your-own-adventure, but for sandwiches. Loved it. The cheesesteak itself was really good, flavorful, satisfying, and hit the spot perfectly. Paired with those fries, it was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel and questionable hotel choices. I will say the service was not that great and not very friendly. I felt like I was imposing on them when I walked in to the time I left. Perhaps they were all having a "moment" that day. Bottom line: great cheesesteaks, excellent fries, and zero regrets. If you find yourself in the area and craving something hearty and comforting, Corleone's will not disappoint.

Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans!

I was looking on Yelp while she was in an office taking care of business and saw this place. When she and my granddaughter came out I asked them how they felt about it. Granddaughter was hesitant because she claims she doesn't like fish but daughter was open to it and I could see online that they had hamburgers and chicken nuggets also. I got the two piece fish with fries and she got the three piece fish with fries because she thought the two piece wouldn't fill her up. The pieces were generous and delicious and the fries were good. She wasn't even able to eat her third piece so she let me bring it home for leftovers. We also got six wings to try out, three lemon pepper and three honey barbecue. We each had one of each flavor just for an appetizer. They were good, a little chewy but wonderful flavor. My daughter and I were both impressed with how good the fish was and neither one of us could finish what we were served. The teenage granddaughter ordered the hamburger special for $6.99 that included hamburger fries and a kool-aid. She wasn't crazy about the Kool-Aid so we brought it home for other family members but she kept exclaiming how delicious her hamburger was! She liked the wings also and we all liked the fries. All in all we were happy with our food and the service was fine, very friendly. The final decision was that it was a good choice! It's inside an old convenience store and does have a lot of items a convenience store would have but we just went for the food. Don't let the outside deter you, the food is worth it and a very very good price. For me the only disadvantage was when I asked for a receipt it just said $40.32 but didn't itemize so there was no way to double check it and I have found so many places make errors that I like to look over my receipt and see exactly what I was charged. I do know that we paid $6.99 for the hamburger special at least that's what it was listed for and my two-piece was $8.99. I think my daughter is three piece was $11.99 but I can't remember for absolute sure and I don't remember how much the wings were but they were reasonable.

After a quick internet search, I ended up at a place called Speedie's Fish & Chips on McDowell. Let me be real with you... when I pulled up, my first thought was: Am I in the right place? From the outside, it's giving more "corner vape shop meets convenience store" than seafood spot. But hey--hunger (and curiosity) won the day. I walked in and discovered exactly that: a vape store, a small market, and tucked off to the right, a humble little lunch counter. No frills -- just a guy behind the counter doing his thing. I ordered the Fish & Shrimp Daily Special ($11.99) and waited a few minutes. When the food hit the counter, WOW. Any skepticism I had about the surroundings vanished in a cloud of fryer steam and crispy golden goodness. The fish? Hot, flaky, and perfectly battered. The shrimp? Juicy with just the right crunch. The fries? Fresh, piping hot, and generously portioned. All of it was straight out of the fryer--no limp or lukewarm bites here. To top it off, they gave me four sauces--ketchup, cocktail, tartar, and ranch--which turned this into a choose-your-own-dipping-adventure. Each bite was better than the last. And guess what? The next day, I went back and ordered the exact same thing. No regrets. Bottom line: Speedie's is not about ambiance. It's not Instagram-worthy, and it might not even look like a restaurant. But if you're in Phoenix and craving solid fish and chips at a great price, don't let the exterior fool you. This place delivers big flavor in an unexpected package.
