We typically would do their Christmas Train, and rarely got back to Lancaster in the warmer months. As soon as I planned my latest summer trip, I knew it had to be on the itinerary. This place has it all from gigantic slides to gold mining sluice areas to a mini kids village that mine couldn't get enough of from the mini vet office to the drive in theater. It was really impressive. From here, you can make your way up the hill where there is a restaurant, a coffee kiosk with a delicious coconut water cold brew (wild!), and plenty of shaded sections with swinging chairs. You'll find paintball, basketball, skee ball, a pedal cart for the family, launching devices. I mean, there is a lot! The place is large so it never felt overly crowded. Come with water bottles. Even with the shaded sections it gets hot. They have water fountains by the bathrooms.

Buy tickets online- tickets are cheaper. If you go during the week- it's cheaper too! They also have 50% off for active military and veterans, which is a great deal! They have all kinds of games, tug of war ropes, a play area/little town for younger kids, pig races. Some nights they have fireworks or bands. If you come- the corn maze is a must! All types of food vendors like burgers, fries, chicken fingers, ice cream and apple cider donuts. You can spend hours here and not get bored. They also have for pit and picnic table areas you can rent out and they provide logs and sticks so you can roast marshmallows or hotdogs. Definitely recommend this farm.

The counselors do not dress appropriately nor dress covered up; the are fat out of shape and on their phones the whole time never keeping up with the children beware who is around your rude children. A lot of the rides were out of service since the kids are already heading back to school, but thankfully, we were given tickets to come back for free through the end of the year! We really appreciated that. Even with some rides closed, there was still plenty to do, see, and eat, so we were still able to have a great time. I think our kiddo's favorite part was definitely the Daniel Tiger Meet & Greet! Her excitement made the whole day worth it! We'll definitely be back to enjoy more rides and make more memories!

We are season pass holders and with every one good visit there are about three not fun visits here. Why? During peak season this place is severely understaffed. There is a double water slide and I've only known one side to be open, cause there is not enough staff on peak days. Rides here are frequently breaking down, but you'll still have to wait in line for hours because they don't let people know. We've waited up to an hour for food because teenage staff was too busy talking in the kitchen and had no food up in the line at the cafeteria during lunch. There were also no stocked utensils and it took forever to get them. The dole whip stand doesn't open on its scheduled hours because they're running behind and when they make cones they are runny messes. It's literally like everybody's first day all the time. The park tends to close a lot without notice in any season. Nothing on Facebook, no signs at the park. We have driven here twice in winter for holiday events that were cancelled but no notice was given. Just a line of confused ticket holders outside. And getting tickets, reimbursed, or tickets for another day was nearly impossible that we should've been my first tip off, but we still went ahead with getting season passes. There is also a safety issue here with the broken board at the waterpark and the Stafford just put up a chair to block the entrance however, there is no signs that was closed so of course kids pushed it out of the way and kept going into the unsafe area. So in my few visits here this summer I have managed to get on only a few rides due to confusion and closures. I would never do a season pass here, it's almost worth it to get individual tickets because obviously something will go wrong and at least you'll get a refund or a ticket for another day. Season pass holders get screwed.

We didn't get any food because everything was high priced. I stopped at a dunkin & a medium refresher was almost $7. We did enjoy the water park & the lines were short today probably due to the heat but the ride attendants were nice & did their jobs well. We went to the boardwalk & a large locker was $25, which seemed insanely pricy to put personal items away. Also parking is so expensive. $30 with tax to park the car on their lot I did notice the water at tidal force was brown & murky. I know we had that thunderstorm semi recently but the water color was a turn off to ride. I do appreciate how well kept the park is, the rides are very safe & the employees seem well trained. The waterpark was also a huge relief with the heat today! Overall, I do suggest trying HP if you're looking to have a fun day.

When I realized that Dorney Park was actually in PA instead of MD, where I swore it was when I was a kid, I figured we should pay them a visit. I gathered my themepark friends and we made a day trip out of it. We arrived around 10:30am, which is about 30 minutes after it opened. It ended up being a washed out day with rain all day long, so we pretty much had an empty park. This meant every coaster was essentially a walk on, if it was open. We rode all the coasters and then went back for seconds on 3-4 of them. It's not a big park at all, so you can definitely get it all done in one day. The food in the park is pretty absymal though, so taking a point off for that. They have Snoopy character meet and greets, which was really cute and I definitely took advantage.
