They've always had consistently delicious food ranging from pastas, sandwiches, and salads. They often have good deals and this time it was $6.99!! for their pick 2 combo (regularly ~$15, depending what you get). This is a steal - it lasts till the end of March so definitely take advantage! Portions are generous and the food is amazing. I've been here twice recently and I've tried their shrimp scampi pasta, chopped salad, lemon orzo soup, chicken enchilada soup, and carbonara pasta. Visited Corner Bakery in Chino Hills for a light meal and left very disappointed. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, and it was not prepared as advertised. There was no Parmesan cheese on top, it wasn't even toasted well, and overall it had very little flavor. The quality here used to be much better back in the day, but now it really seems like it has gone downhill. On top of that, the floors and areas underneath the tables were dirty, which gave the impression that hygiene and sanitation standards are not being maintained properly. Ordered a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup + a regular iced tea and my total came out to about $13.00 - not too bad. I personally thought there was too much sodium and got quite thirsty after eating that meal. Service was great -the cashier was very nice! The food is usually almost good, my review isn't really about the food but how disgusting the women's restroom was. You could tell that it hasn't been cleaned in a few days. Which I guess could bring back to how their kitchen could look like and then we can go in about the sanitation of the kitchen where they serve us the food? My first time visiting a Corner Bakery and I'm not sure I would go back. The cooking staff seemed understaffed for the amount of customers they had waiting in line. Food took forever because they told us they made it wrong and had to remake it. I opened my sandwich to find limp and brown lettuce..the fruit wasn't fresh either. Gave them another chance and it's a big NO ..manager did offer to remake but I declined. I'm always afraid to send food back. Good experience I had at Corner Bakery at Chino Hills. The cashier/hostess Cassandra was very polite and helpful throughout our time at Corner Bakery. The service was very quick and great and we had to waited little time for our food. I had gotten the loaded baked potato bowl and it was great. The green onions and cheese tasted good with it. My mom, nana & I never fail to pick this place for our weekly meet ups. This location is filled with sweet employees & amazing service. Always super clean & mangers are walking around asking customers "if we need anything else" or "is everything tasting amazing over here". I love when mangers come to check up on us , it shows that they care and are providing us a space where we feel comfortable. I totally recommend this location for the best experience when dinning in. Jaquavius's Baddielicious Shrekery was fantastic. I loved the Burnt Fred ™ and the Shrek Juice ™! If you hear whispers while eating the Burnt Fred ™, NO YOU DIDNT. Everything tasted like swamp water and unfinished sentences, not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I finished it. Well not the best tasting food I have had lately. The breakfast croissant was very dry. It had no sauce in the sandwich at all. It was okay once some mayo was added. The breakfast bowl that had eggs, bacon, spinach avocado and onion didn't have any flavor at all. Had to add salt and pepper and then some catchup. We had one soft drink and water and the bill was $27 dollars and change. The restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. I don't think we will be returning. read more

This place was horrible. I ordered a $12 BLT and it was expressed that it came with a side, only to see that I was charged $4.00 additional for the side. I have been coming to this restaurant many times in the mid-2000' for so many years way before the pandemic. I went back after the pandemic and the food we got wasn't good. We liked their breakfast menu. So anyway, I thought to give them another try. I got a family member's favorite Pesto Cavappati without the crumbs on top for dinner. I usually get an order without the Chicken in it. Well, It turned out that the family member didnt like it., so I tried it. What happened was the pesto sauce was water down flavor. The pasta was also little over cooked. I ended up having to eat it later by adding store bought pasta sauce over it. I also ordered 2 Sugar cookies. They ran out of our favorite Snickerdoodle cookies. I loved their mini bundt cakes but did not purchase it. The service was good and the place was clean. read more

I'm surprised I don't already have a review in. I've come to this Corner Bakery several times, thinking it will get better, but it doesn't. Some of the food is very good and some is just okay. The bakery items disappoint. But the real let down is the staff. For some reason when I come in, there are always young people working and I always get the same exact person at the register. She seems friendly, but gives me a weird look and every time- I kid you not- she turns around, says something to the other employee, and starts giggling. I just can't bring myself to come here anymore because I feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I can't help but wonder if they are doing something to the food. She isn't very engaging. On one of my visits, I came for a meeting and there was something terribly wrong with my soup. It didn't taste right and it and I can't remember exactly but like they had added something they weren't supposed to. I can't remember what but it was inedible. Since I was in a meeting, I couldn't get up & complain. I just went hungry. Also I read on other reviews about the staff being attentive- I don't know if it's the time of day I've come or what (I've come in during the early afternoon and in the evening), but I've never once had someone come to my table and check up on us. I don't know what I ever did to those people- I'm always polite and I certainly don't know them personally- we aren't even in the same age group- but something is off in that place and I just don't trust it anymore. I'm sad because I really liked the ambiance and food selection, but the staff ruined it for me. If you do come, I recommend a pasta or a sandwich. Those seem to be your best bet.
