Visited Corner Bakery in Chino Hills for a light meal and left very disappointed. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, and it was not prepared as advertised. There was no Parmesan cheese on top, it wasn't even toasted well, and overall it had very little flavor. The quality here used to be much better back in the day, but now it really seems like it has gone downhill. On top of that, the floors and areas underneath the tables were dirty, which gave the impression that hygiene and sanitation standards are not being maintained properly. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to most likely not return to this location.

It's been years since I've been at this location but stopped by to grab a quick and light lunch while I wait for my daughter to finish up on her volleyball practice. Ordered a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup + a regular iced tea and my total came out to about $13.00 - not too bad. I personally thought there was too much sodium and got quite thirsty after eating that meal. Service was great -the cashier was very nice! The restaurant may need a quick makeover due to the interior feeling a bit outdated. I feel they can do a lot more with the amount of space they have. Overall, a 6/10. :)

My first time visiting a Corner Bakery and I'm not sure I would go back. The cooking staff seemed understaffed for the amount of customers they had waiting in line. I ordered the bacon and cheddar panini. I like my bread to be toasted. My sandwich was Saturated in butter, soft and greasy. The ladies taking orders were friendly despite the long line.

Wow! Am so impressed with the food and service here! I haven't been to a Corner Bakery in years, but came in this Sunday night for a healthy meal before the gym. I got their Chicken Rosa Pasta, mixed side salad, and Crispy Cheddar Beef 1/2 sandwich. The pasta -- with chicken, spinach, tomatoes, and cream tomato sauce -- was so delicious, and such a a generous portion! I could not even eat the sandwich (will eat it for lunch tomorrow). The hubby got a Shrimp Scampi, Cesar salad, and a Chicken salad. Everything was so fresh and fantastic quality! I'll be coming once a week now! Service was very friendly and atmosphere is cozy

Good experience I had at Corner Bakery at Chino Hills. The cashier/hostess Cassandra was very polite and helpful throughout our time at Corner Bakery. The service was very quick and great and we had to waited little time for our food. I had gotten the loaded baked potato bowl and it was great. The green onions and cheese tasted good with it. I will be returning again when in the area.

My mom, nana & I never fail to pick this place for our weekly meet ups. This location is filled with sweet employees & amazing service. Always super clean & mangers are walking around asking customers "if we need anything else" or "is everything tasting amazing over here". I love when mangers come to check up on us , it shows that they care and are providing us a space where we feel comfortable. I totally recommend this location for the best experience when dinning in. I stopped in for a simple cup of coffee. Who knew it would cost more than Starbucks! The counter person said it's because I got a mug instead of a paper cup. Since when does being easier on the environment cause a penalty? Now and here! Ugh!! The plus on coffee, yes there are refills and they have four flavors to choose. Disappointed!

Well not the best tasting food I have had lately. The breakfast croissant was very dry. It had no sauce in the sandwich at all. It was okay once some mayo was added. The breakfast bowl that had eggs, bacon, spinach avocado and onion didn't have any flavor at all. Had to add salt and pepper and then some catchup. We had one soft drink and water and the bill was $27 dollars and change. The restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. I don't think we will be returning.

First of all I ordered online 2 hours prior to picking up my order. I entered the line where it says 'online order pick up' with another sign that says 'skip the line'. As I waited the associate named Marissa who's name tag unprofessionally said 'Shrek' instead of helping me took the next person in the bigger line. I let that go but when it was my turn instead of helping me she walked away and stood in the corner by the computer close to the wall and stood there instead of helping me. I was forced to wait until someone else noticed me and helped me out. I stood there after paying for my food and waited while another associate made it. Which also makes no sense to me since I had ordered in two hours prior. I would appreciate it if the associates 1.Wore name tags with proper titles. 2. Helped out the next and rightful person in line. 3. Did not hide out when there was work to be done regardless of the issue. And lastly 4. Had online orders ready on time. Thank you. read more

Absolutely terrible at problem solving and totally screwed me over. I ordered two breakfast wraps and two sides of fruit online. No where on the website did it say that these items were sold out. My order went through and I got my receipt in my email saying my order was processed and ready to be picked up. When I arrive they tell me they that they were out of breakfast wraps and that I could pick out something else instead-- fine, understandable. As a vegetarian, I didn't have that many options to replace my order with so I chose to replace my order with two salads.... They gave me two side salads because it had to match the same price as my previous order. Even though they completely inconvenienced me all they cared about was the money. They didn't even give me the sides of fruit that I ordered from my previous order. I have always had a good experience at this particular Corner Bakery, but my previous experience was the greatest. Oscar, the restaurant's manager, was the most helpful and kindest person I've come across in the restaurant industry. Oscar made sure my order was taken care of with the highest level of professionalism and empathy. My payment did not go through when I ordered online, and he still assured me my order would be taken care of and allowed me to pay upon ordering. There were other issues, but Oscar made sure to remain professional and kind throughout it all. I will make sure to use Corner Bakery for all my corporate breakfasts and lunches because of Oscar. Tomato Basil soup is incredibly creamy, not too over stated with basil flavor or too acidity from the tomato. Its great with any of their sandwiches, which are also packed with meat and cheese on fresh bread. But you have to try their mozzarella and tomato basil paninis, they are cheesy delicious too. I have had a few of their other sandwiches but they are not that filling and for the price they need to add more to them. The food deserved at least a 4 rating but the restaurant is boring and out of the way. It sits in a shopping center that is a little out of the way and it has no drawing in qualities. Also the restaurant is not in a prime or hot and exciting area. BJ's and Lucille's seems to steal their thunder. read more

Myself, husband and granddaughter went to this bakery on a weekday morning while visiting my son. We were served by Tanya who was taking orders at the register. She looked like she had a bad morning, although her make-up was on point, her attitude was so resentful that if she drank poison she would wait for the poison to die! I can go into detail about how badly we were treated by her but in the end, it seemed as though she just didn't want to be there at that job. The manager was very nice and tried to ask if there was a problem and we told him. All I said is that you probably should retrain her because she knew nothing about how to be at a register helping customers. read more

We came to have breakfast at Corner Bakery and service was terrible. The cashier had a bad attitude and most of the 'empty tables' still had not been cleared or cleaned from previous customers. We had to clear out our own table as they took a while to get someone to do it. Coffee bar was a mess and only one of the coffee containers had coffee in it. It appears they do not have enough staff to accommodate the number of guests coming in. We came in around 10:45 am and not a good experience. read more

I went in for a cup of coffee. Cashier had trouble with his register when using my debit card. He told me the coffee was on the house because he couldn't get the register to work. The next day I had a charge for $22.39 for my coffee. In trying to get them to fix the error I've spent hours and countless phone calls. Won't go there again.
