By the time I got back to my table with my coffee, my food was delivered. My wrap looked good, so I couldn't wait to dive in. This wrap was devoid of any flavor. The salsa gave it a little flavor, but not enough to save it. The coffee was ok. There are plenty of good food options in the area, so I probably won't be coming back. read more

This is a hard pass. Ambiance and Service are nice, but food quality disappoints. Context: I visited Corner Cafe b/c reviews looked good and I wanted a cozy spot to eat breakfast. The Ambiance is very similar to Panera. You walk up, order from the menu above, and take a number to your table so it can be carried to you when ready. Service is friendly and the Order comes up quickly (no one seemed to wait longer than 10 mins). My problem is the food. I ordered a Bacon Avocado Scrambler Bowl. Scrambled eggs resemble powdered eggs w/ bacon bits- the dish is bland. I felt like I was shoveling $20 mush into my mouth. I finished just because I had overpaid for it. The coffee was the saving grace. I left to nurse a stomach ache by purchasing a Ginger Ale at the nearest convenience store and sipped on that until sensations subsided. All I can truthfully say is FIRE to the service, packaging & FOOD ‼ Everything was absolutely amazing I got a stack of banana foster pancakes (which were so soft and buttery) I left no crumbs.... Can always count on Corner Bakery for the best comfort food. I enjoyed a Chicken Pomodori panini with a cup of tomato basil soup. My husband wanted something a little healthier and opted for the turkey avocado Cobb salad. It only took about 5 minutes for our order to be brought out to our table. The restaurant was very clean and not busy when we were there, so plenty of seating. I like being able to find a booth in the corner. I was sooo excited to see Corner Bakery!!! I haven't met a CB or a meal here I do not like!! I was a little heartbroken to see the one closest to my office close but like they say when one door closes another one opens!! In this case is was finding one in the area!! With so many new items on the menu since I last saw it, I definitely had to get some pasta, since a good sandwich is always a good standby choice. We all got something different so we could try each other's dishes, which turned out be a great idea!!! Everything was delicious!! Pasta was perfectly executed and they were generous with all the ingredients down to the sauce!!! Customer service was up to par too!!! We were given a number, meals were delivered to the table and once you are finished they will clear your plates as well! Anddd after all that, please save room for dessert!!!! The pecan bar tasted like an upgraded version of a pecan pie in square form with that ooey goey center!!! The lemon bar was lemony delicious, not too sweet, not too tart and tasted perfectly balanced on the taste buds!! The cinnamon roll was the star because even on a reheat it was still killer!! So this is my third time dining at the CBC and I will say for the most part this experience was by far better than the two prior. I had a BOGO coupon on entrées and beings my flexitarian daughter s now vegetarian this seemed like a good option. She had the pick two mozzarella and basil sandwich with a cup of tomato soup with a side Caesar salad (the lettuce was weird but dressing was good). She was thoroughly pleased overall with her meal. I also had the pick two with half sandwich, loaded baked potato soup and side salad with vinaigrette. Two of the three were pretty good and though my sandwich was flavorful it was lacking meat and toppings. This has happened before closer to the grand opening a few years back hence me staying away. Great place for a weekend meals, especially Sunday brunch. The service is usually pretty good here, even when they are busy. And, since it's a casual dine in there's no expectation of tipping. Went here again just a few days ago and was not disappointed. These folks really are the sweetest folks. Everyone was kind, and even when the cashier forgot to give me the little number to put up at my table so my food runner knew where to go, another employee came out and checked my number shortly after I sat down, realizing that I was missing the number. Although they did advertise handmade Pop tartish pies which I've got to try. The food was fair! Average eggs and bacon, decent pancakes, and good potatoes. I ordered a side of avocado and the serving was tiny and a little too ripe for my taste (brownish)... They serve Might Leaf tea and it was aromatic and soothing. Some of my friends had the 1/2 sandwich or panini with a salad (like the pick 2) and they raved about them. So lunch may be better than the breakfast. I decided to pop in for breakfast, coffee and some much needed alone time. CB has a pretty expansive breakfast selection so I decided to order the veggie Scramble and a Turtle mocha cappuccino. My food came out quickly, piping hot and flavorless. At first I thought may I burned my taste buds off because my hangryness got the best of me and I decided to consume my food despite how hot it was. After letting the food cool down I gave it another go and still nothing but a mouthful of unflavored eggs and potatoes. I took a sip of my cappuccino and got a mouthful of hot chocolate. I couldn't taste any of the caffeine. Overall the food was mediocre, the service was great and the restaurant was sparkling clean!! read more

I like their bacon avocado egg bowl without tomatoes because it's not carb heavy. And since it's supposed to be "made to order" I could get this food item without tomatoes, right? Not the case, according to their manager, Molly. Even after showing a previous receipt of this food item with NO tomatoes, she tried to explain that they prep all their food toppings together and add them to the eggs, to make morning production easier and faster. While I get that, that's not "made to order". It's lazy and inconsistent customer service. I guess I will find another location to order a non-carb heavy breakfast because this is no longer it for me! Your "made to order" and "fresh" descriptions are misleading! I'm giving it a three b/c today I had the full size SOUTHWEST SALAD and it tasted just OK. The beans tasted old and the tomatoes and cheese tasted old too,like they were about to be out of date. The lettuce was super crisp and very fresh but that's not enough to make it a good salad. Not enough good ingredients in it for me. Needs cilantro and more corn. Disappointing. I expect better. In the past I always got the HARVEST SALAD and it's amazing and all the ingredients always taste fresh. Love this salad. This is my go-to salad when idk what to get. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this salad. Almost forgot the brownie I got too. It was very moist but its super rich. Loved the chocolate chips in it. I took a few bites and decided I was done b/c it was too rich to eat the whole thing. Not to mention its gigantic and covered in powered sugar but its packed on there, not sprinkled like I expected which is OK but to me just makes even more rich. If that's your thing fine but a few bites and I had my fill. Needless to say this place makes good food despite the epically bad salad I had today. Please do better Corner Bakery. I believe in you. Not sure what other reviewers are talking about here but this is the one of the best breakfasts we've had in a while. Was hesitant to eat here because of the bad reviews but when we went inside, the staff was friendly and the whole place smelled delicious! We got the pancakes with egg and bacon - fluffy eggs and pancakes, bacon was yummy. My avocado and spinach flatbread was delicious also - they're very generous with their eggs. Even the steel cut oatmeal was yummy! We also got their Commuter Croissant and we inhaled that thing. Even their iced latte isn't bad. So if it's your first time here, don't let the bad reviews discourage you. Maybe they just woke up on the wrong side of the bed hah. read more

I ordered the pick two with a sandwich and salad and a drink, and my partner got two sandwiches with the choose two. Like Panera's, but not as good. This location is new, so I was anxious to try it. The inside is cute and looks clean and cozy. The menu is very similar to Panera's (e.g., pick 2 combos). I ordered the Asian Wonton Salad, husband got the Chicken Carbonara pasta and my daughter got the kid's pasta. The salad looked beautiful and huge, but had way too much dressing on it. I really did not enjoy it. My husband's pasta was tiny. It looked like a half portion, so maybe they got it wrong. It comes with some garlic bread, which was good. The kid's meal is a great value. For under $5, pasta with meatballs, drink and a cookie. She liked it. The sauce with it was very bland. The drinks were not even good. The sweet iced tea was clearly not sweetened. Not sweet and unsweet were the same; unsweet. The lemonade tasted very odd and watered down. The coffee was fine. Best things - decor, coffee, cookie, prices. Everything else, not so good. I will probably try it one more time and see if we have more luck. Maybe breakfast is better. read more

Like most people, when we travel we try to stop at local or regional restaurants to try something different. Even though this place is a franchise, there aren't any near where we live. This place apparently only recently opened and is near my hotel. The people were friendly, service was fast and efficient, and the food was good with an ample portion. This is one of those places where you order at the counter and they bring your drinks and food to your table when it is ready. It's a nice, comfortable dining area with a small room especially for the kids. While I love children, it's nice to have a separate area where the kids can be kids without disturbing everyone else in the restaurant. My only complaint with the whole experience was that the chai latte,while very tasty, was about 1/4 foam. I would come back here again on a future visit. The bacon, eggs, and pancake breakfast that I had was very reasonably priced and not too filling. Personally I am not a fan of feeling stuffed after the first meal of the day; makes for a long morning. read more
