I can't remember the name of the biscuit I had but it had bacon, eggs and gravy, and I got a side of the red potatoes. My boyfriend got the biscuit and gravy and the tomato soup. No, I got the flight and honestly, I was only a fan of two of the flavors on the flight so our server did replace two of our flight drinks with a flavor that I actually loved so that was awesome. Tried The Fancy Biscuit and overall it was a solid spot. The staff was very friendly, the music selection was great, and free street parking nearby was a nice bonus. The biscuit itself was excellent, the chicken was cooked really well-nice and crsipy, and the jam was genuinely delicious. A few things could be improved though. The table was a little sticky and could have been wiped down better. The ham in the grits felt unnecessary and the chunks were way too large. Small location but the menu packs a punch! I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical about a place called The Fancy Biscuit-how much could they truly have to offer? I was pleasantly surprised. First, the service was great. We were immediately sat with no hesitation. Our waitress was nice and the food was prompt. They have such a variety of food, coffee, non-alcoholic, and alcoholic beverages-there's something for everyone. I wanted to order everything on the menu but I eventually settled on the Sweet Heat - a stellar combo of fried chicken with housemade pickled onions, hot honey, and pepper jelly all served on a buttermilk biscuit. The flavors worked really well together and the fried chicken was AMAZING, kind of outshone the biscuit if I'm being honest. While sitting at the bar, I watched an employee fill a water pitcher of ice with water from a utility sink and served to a table--the same area where cleaning supplies/products and towels are nearby. This kind of sink is clearly meant for washing hands or cleaning tools, not for serving drinking water. It raised sanitation concerns for me and my date who just unknowingly drank the water before witnessing this. This is def a food safety issue and I hope management addresses this quickly and ensures staff are using designated beverage stations for water and ice. read more

They are pretty close to 95 (it was around 2 miles off the highway) and literally half a block from the toll road. Food was exquisite!!! Everything tastes good! As far as I could tell, if you order on their website, it redirects you to place an order thru either DoorDash or Uber eats. I did not see a way to place the order directly thru the fancy biscuit site. DoorDash gave me a wait time of about 14 minutes until the order was ready. And The Fancy Biscuit confirmed my order immediately, and it was ready quicker than expected. When I got to the restaurant, it was moderately busy. But wasn't slammed with a line of people waiting outside like I thought. The staff were very kind and friendly. And the service seems pretty quick too, they seem to crank people through pretty fast.
