When here on a Sunday Morning and were able to get in a seated right away. Our server was friendly, had some good jokes. Staff overall came by and check on us as well as refiled coffee on a regular basis with little to no wait time. Hands down one of the best diner experiences I've ever had. We ordered a little bit of everything pot roast, sidewinder fries, mac and cheese, chicken fried chicken, green beans, and onion rings and every single bite was phenomenal. Comfort food done right. The ranch deserves its own shoutout because it was fabulous. Portions were generous, flavors were spot on, and nothing felt like an afterthought. I came here cause I was in the mood for a home cooked meal but didn't feel like cooking. We were seated right away and ordered the fried chicken meal with greens and mashed potatoes and we ordered the chicken and noodles dinner with mashed potatoes and applesauce. Everything was very fresh and delicious! I don't usually like collard greens from resturants but these were pretty good. The hot sauce they have here is sooo good too! It wasn't to busy when we came on a late afternoon on a Saturday and our server was very efficient. This is similar to Cracker Barrel but a little bit more expensive and more temptation for their sweets, they have a large assortment of baked goods. There was quite a crowd when we arrived but they got through the list quickly. The manager could be seen cleaning tables and communicating with the staff to keep things moving. We started with some cini-minis. I love their huge cinnamon rolls but they are too big sometimes. These were just perfect. They are like getting the center of the cinnamon roll. I had a gringo omelet with sourdough toast. It was fantastic as usual. The chorizo gives it a kick but it's not too spicy. The omelet is fluffy and fully loaded. My girlfriend had the biscuit topper. She said that this will be her new biscuit and gravy place. The biscuit was very fluffy and the gravy was really on point. Our server was friendly and quick and kept my coffee filled. It used to be one of our favorite places to go. But the last 2 or 3 times we've went the portions are getting smaller and last night my husband chicken sandwich was so overcooked and covered in pepper. My chicken livers were way overcooked. Breakfast, french toast and biscuits and gravy were good and enjoyable. The waitress was wonderful. Nice country ambiance. Now....the cinnamon rolls! Excellent. We got 2 to go, $5 each, and they are the size of my head. It has a sweet drizzle frosting, not cream cheese, which works out fine since I'm lactose intolerant. And the chocolate cake slice....I prefer even darker, richer chocolate/ganache, but for a huge $5 slice, it is totally worth it, and I can see myself driving 45 minutes to get this! The pictures don't look appealing, but the food was awesome. Our waitress, Alana, was fantastic. I started with a cinnamon roll appetizer. It was just the two of us, and we only finished half because it was so tasty. I had the chicken tender dinner with fries. They offer three types of fries: sweet potato, regular, and sidewinder. Good old fashioned restaurant with lots of room and great service. Can't make reservations ahead of time like other places but the minimal wait is worth it. We come here often and I enjoy the Artichoke Spinach omelette the most and crave it. Enjoyed it today for an early lunch. My family has had vegetable soup here before, loaded baked potatoes, salads to BLTs and it's all good. Waiters/waitresses always seem short handed but they are always very accommodating and timely. I went there for dinner with family yesterday. I ordered the Chicken and Noodle; it was very good and full of flavor. The sides were also good, the apple sauce had slices of apple and was not overly sweet, and the green beans were well seasoned with bacon and onions. The lemonade was also refreshing. This place used to be awesome, but our last few experiences have been so horrible that I will never go back again. We ordered takeout 3 times in the last few months. 2 of those 3, our order was wrong or missing items. The 2nd time I called since literally half of our meal was missing and spoke to the "manager" who profusely apologized and told us that he was adding our name to a book and on our next visit he would cover our bill. Fast forward to today when I am feeling ill and some chicken and noodles comfort food sounds like a great idea. Not only did they tell us that they do not have us in a "book" to comp our meal, the staff was literally rude, extremely unpleasant and unhelpful. We get home with the meal that they ended up only comping the chicken and noodles and charging us full price for the rest of our meal and the chicken and noodles is so salty that it is inedible. My mom and dad surprised me with lunch here yesterday . I had the Beef soup it was really good. My dad had the pork tenderloin sandwich which looked scrumptious. Rounding it out mom had a tuna sandwich on a butter croissant... it was lunch time so it wasn't very busy. The restaurant was very spacious both with woodtables and nice big booths. Our server was very friendly and she did a great job being attentive to our needs. The only issue we found as a group was the tea was weak. I love Corner Cafe in Riverside. We figured we would try the one here in Liberty. I had the tacos and they were reallllly good. Surprising, that's typically not what one orders from a cafe, but that's what I was hungry for. He got the chicken friend steak and he said it was really good. We got the chocolate cream pie to go and it was delicious. Everyone was friendly. I felt like it could use some minor improvements, nothing that would stop me from coming back. read more

He had drinks on our table immediately, offered us time to decide, made entree and dessert recommendations, was attentive start to finish, personable, polite, and professional. We came into corner cafe for dinner this evening and were disappointed by the quality of the food served to us. The meatloaf dinner came out in a much smaller portion than the price suggested, and was warm, not hot. My girlfriend ordered the steak tips and noodles, and that was a disappointment. The sauce was a brown , tasteless amalgamation and the cabbage was overdone, plus the plate came with three small pieces of steak and the noodles, like the cabbage, were soft and overdone. The star of the show was the dinner rolls, always 10/10. Our server was great, but the food was a poor quality and didn't come to our table hot, only warm. Hopefully this can be remedied, but I won't return to find out. read more
