I came back and tried breakfast. The breakfast burrito was huge & stuffed with egg, cheese, potatoes, bacon or sausage, I got the sausage. It's paired w/ a corn black bean salsa and sour cream. The salsa was not spicy, and paired great with/ the perfect amount of items in the burrito! The outside of the burrito was perfectly grilled as well. 2 people would enjoy just 1 burrito if you wanted to. My order was a to go order, it was fast and ready for pickup with in about 5 mins. Visited here on a Saturday and used my $20 dining credits. Overall, the price of things are definitely steep. The menu is relatively small. The food was really delicious and I have zero complaints with that. But the best thing was the wonderful lady that took care of me and my order - she was seriously so nice! It was a breathe of fresh air to actually have a customer service interaction with someone that was so pleasant. I was happy that Marquee had a decent variety of options in this price point and had some other ala carte items that made up the full $20. The menu on the Penn Play app and the physical menu in the restaurant are slightly different with the physical menu showing a few more selections. This is annoying not having the same information in both locations. Also, you still cannot order via the app if you want to pay with dining credits. I was told by Penn themselves that this is not live yet Hollywood advertised it as such. My order took less than 15 minutes (estimated time) and had condiments/silverware in the bag. I ended up reheating this for a later meal and it was honestly so delicious. Not really much to say about the Marquee Cafe. I've tried to eat here a couple of times on the weekend for breakfast and for lunch. Both times I've tried to dine on different weekends in different months I waited about 20 mins in the lobby of the restaurant without even being acknowledged. There was probably 3-4 people working the restaurant trying their absolute best running around like crazy. What I didn't see was any management. I would expect to see the casinos Food and Beverage management get involved in the operations on one of the restaurants when their were 15 people in the lobby moaning and groaning about the waiting and literally almost every table in the restaurant was covered with dirty dishes. This however was not the case on either occasion. I won't even attempt a 3rd try at this place. read more

Arrived at 7:00pm last night for dinner and waited 20 minutes for a host to seat our party of 2, while three other couples lined up behind us. When the host finally showed up, she informed us with attitude that there was a 30 minute wait and that they closed in a half hour. This is the second time this has happened and it was the same host both times. I enjoy the food here but doubt I will return here given the poor service and attitude. read more

Stopped in for a light bite while at the casino. We each had the Asian Slamon salad and a side of kettle chips. The food was tasty and the service good. The prices were very good and the decor inside was nice. I liked the place very much. The dessert we had was out of this world...A bourbon, chocolate chunk, pecan pie with whipped cream and ice cream. One of my all time favorite desserts! read more

It just didn't seem to be their night, and hence it wasn't ours either. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or that's their typical staffing model. The young lady that waited on us was super friendly, but was rushing all over the place. I think the number of tables she was taking care of had her out of sync and off kilter. She wasn't even the one bringing out the plates, but that didn't even help with the lengthy waits any. The meal didn't deliver either. There wasn't much to the BLT. The bacon was there, but the sandwich itself as a whole was rather dry. The fries seemed to have been sitting for a while before getting served. I think they may have accidentally knocked over the salt shaker into the chicken noodle soup because that was what I predominantly tasted. The mac and cheese was bland. It became a search mission to find the tiny pieces of chicken in it. The space is really nice, more like a restaurant than a cafe, but the service and food, at least this visit, was more like a sub par diner. read more

Inside the casino, we stopped here for lunch after picking up my sister and brother-in-law from the airport. I had a Club Sandwich with French fries and a side salad. It wasn't a 100% traditional Club but was acceptable. Both were very good and the sandwich was so big I could only finish half of it. No one in our party had any complaints from what I could remember. read more

I have eaten at the Marquee Cafe, and the chicken and waffles are great as are all of the breakfast items! They have a Rueben sandwich that is one of the best in the city, but the grilled chicken salad is what keeps me coming back! This salad has golden raisins, apple chunks, candied pecans and a hot grilled chicken breast with a raspberry dressing. My husband is a convert and he loves the salad as much as I do. :) read more

I went to the marquee today and the service ice was phenomenal. The waitresses still had their nonchalant attitude so no one even bothered to say anything. There was an older gentleman there step right up very very pleasant. I wish he could give the waitresses classes on being pleasant. read more

Okay food. Portion size fine. The three stars was due to staff. Not very attentive (aware) to guests. Refills, condiments, orders, all took too long to be filled. I'm a petty patient person so if I'm writing about this it was noticeable. Overheard a waiter complain to another waitress about having a $59 dollar bill on a table and getting a dollar as a tip. I will never eat at the marquee cafe again. We were regular since we only live 5 mins away but from now on we will eat elsewhere. Went to take my father there last night for his bday dinner and had our cake with us the rude lady at the entrance told me it would be a 25 dollar service fee to bring our cake in when I asked why she said because we'd be using their plates, forks, knife and spatula to serve the cake well when I told her I brought my own spatula and knife and was planning on using our dinner plates she got all mad said shed have to talk to her boss came out told me the cake was now not alllowed period but I could buy one of their 30 dollar bday cakes. We left and won't be back I know they make 1000 + a day but last night they lost out easily on 70 and all future money we would of spent there. Just thought they were kinda crappy.
