    Beef broccoli
    Rosie G.

I used to like this place because you pay per ounce or pound. The last time I went to this place I found a small piece of metal in my food it look like maybe a piece of. Metal Brillo scrubbier but I thought ok that was probably not preventable cause they have to scrub the grill. Today I go again get beef broccoli and some of the broccoli heads have what look like mold. So I don't think I'll go here again. Just be careful when eating at this place.

Got ma chow mein, my orange chicken, some other chicken, and an egg roll. All tasted so good!!

So I read all the great reviews for this spot and decided to try it out... Chinese food by the pound... What the _____?!!!! Seriously...??? Chinese food by the POUND????!!! Who does that?! And is it even legit food at that point?! Lol. Ok ok... I have to say, you walk in and you're a bit confused cause you first see ice cream, then you see Chinese food. I didn't know how it works. I figured out the part where you put your own food in your to go plate... Then I look up and it says "$3... Something/pound". I was seriously blown away. I got a bit frightened cause I've never heard of Chinese food by the pound. After taking my first bite I was blown away! It was so good!! It seriously tasted delicious! I still wonder how legit the food is cause I paid like $12 for two plates and drinks. I can't even get a burrito and drinks for that price, lol. I got some chow mein, some orange chicken, and some other chicken, and an egg roll, with a Squirt. I haven't had squirt in such a long time I forgot it even existed lol, but not at this place! I want to say try it, but it's up to you if you trust it. I THINK it's legit food, just the food by the pound thing throws me off. Lol. Otherwise this place is a cool spot. Try it out!

This place is great for a quick lunch or even dinner. Currently at $3.39 for a lb of classical Chinese fast food dishes to choose from. They also have a yogurt bar with fresh toppings and a drink bar. Thaitea was pretty good only $2. Self service but the cashier weighs your styrofoam Togo box and tells you your total. Quality of food tastes fresh and homemade compared to A LOT of Chinese fast food places I've tired in HP/Vernon area so I definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a good, cheap & fast meal in HP.

Me and my friends just came out of an arcade and we were hungry but couldn't find a good place to eat. We were about to give up and go home but decided to stop by the corner kitchen just to see and I am very glad we did. They looked like they were closed but they let us in. They're smoothie machine was turned off but I really wanted a smoothie with Boba and they quickly turned the machine on and made a delicious smoothie for me. The food was Chinese and was arranged like a buffet so you could pick and choose what you wanted. They probably let us choose the food buffet style cause they were getting ready to close. The food was amazing and it really made my night after playing arcade games for a few hours. If you are hungry for Chinese food and in this area I definitely recommend the Corner Kitchen.

I hope they're here often even in this cold weather because I crave ice cream even more when it's cold.  I can't be the only one?!

I got it with coffee oreo, and it hit the spot on a hot day Hope to see this food truck around more often!

This last time I opted for the split scoop waffle cone. For the top I chose the Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge and the bottom, the Bananas Foster with Candied Pecans. It was delicious! Such intense flavors! The favorite of the two was definitely the Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge. If you're a peanut butter lover, this is the one for you! They also have some pretty awesome merch to purchase as well and the Tacolate collaboration with Taco Bell is a must the next time I go. They also had Tacolate sauce pack keychains to purchase too! Service was also great as the person was extremely patient as the family was sampling their wide array of options. The kids were loving every moment too! Will be heading back soon for another treat! Tacolate if it's still available!

The place is super small and no line, but the flavors were plentiful. I forget what they do, but you can get a combo of flavors in a single scoop. So an absolute eternity ago, like a decade ago, there was a Paradis in Belmont Shore in Long Beach…read more(which felt like almost as much of a trek from downtown Long Beach as DTLA is, but by bike rather than by train, so we felt a bit more of an excuse to go there and eat ice cream.) Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.
