And the time we waited for two drinks was 28 minutes from the time we got in line, (with no one ahead of us in line) not worth it at all The girls were friendly but they were not efficient in service. They advertise chisme in form of little post it notes but you can't actually write any chisme in yourself. They might have run out of post it notes but who knows. The coffee shop was pretty and low lit which I appreciate but it was very small and felt kind of cluttered. They have outdoor seating tho. Paid $18.58 just to toss my coffee in the trash.... Im a bit of a coffee snob so please take this review with a grain of salt.

For May, TLC Coffee Co. was featured. This vendor had a cute setup and it was a sweet duo of mom and daughter. Ya'll already know lavender drinks are my thing of the moment so I had the iced honey lavender latte. I could not taste any honey but the lavender syrup, which is homemade, was good. The coffee beans, however, just didn't come through on this drink though, hence the three . So, for me it was just another latte lacking that sparkle I look for in my coffee. Glad I got the chance to try this vendor but I wouldn't seek them out at further events.

We waited over 45 minutes for our food. After watching several customers who ordered after us receive their food before we did, I finally went up to ask about the status of our order. That's when I was told it would still be another 10-15 minutes. It was extremely hot both inside and outside the restaurant, and with two hungry kids who were no longer willing to wait, I decided to go up and ask for a refund so we could leave. I explained that we couldn't stay any longer due to the long wait and the heat, and I felt it was fair to request our money back since we hadn't received our food. I did not end up receiving a full refund and was still charged for the smoothies, which at that point I no longer wanted. I completely understand that small businesses can be short-staffed and get overwhelmed during a rush. My only suggestion would be better communication. A simple heads-up about the wait, acknowledging the delay, or checking in with customers goes a long way and makes people feel valued. I still hope to come back and try the food someday because it looked great, but unfortunately our first experience wasn't the best.

Today I decided to go with one the specials and as always the coffee was made to perfection. I don't like my espresso too sweet and she was able to customize it from 5 shots of caramel to 3. The specials include a churro which as I mentioned before is always soft and crunchy. Many places just don't seem to know how to make churros and they are hard and stale this is never the case here. Furthermore, I was not disappointed. Drive thru is available whereas there are only a few street parking spots available. I was blessed to grab one. Patio seating outside. Drive thru was busy and only a few patrons sitting inside at tables on their laptops. I liked the vibe and ambiance as soon as I walked in. Minimal noise level and I can see every employee working and being productive. The cafe is very clean , bright and organized. A variety pastries and snacks displayed at the register behind the glass. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was welcoming, cheerful and professional. I enjoy supporting small businesses so $5.75 for my medium coffee was exceptional and worth the price. I ordered a Cafecito Cubano con Leche. It smelled really good and it tasted great. No complaints. Don't remember how it was prepared but damn it was good. I've been a customer at this restaurant for over 5 years. I've always purchased food and various…read moreboba drinks. Unfortunately I had a very negative experience that ruined my entire perception of this establishment and made me come to the decision that I will never be a customer here again. I purchased a Thai tea with boba and realized that it tasted very sour. This has never happened to me before and I have purchased the same type of drink without issues. I decided to return to the store with the drink to let the staff know. When I told the female worker (who to my understanding is the manager) she was shocked and seemed almost offended. She told me that no one has ever had that issue and even questioned if it was my first time purchasing there. I reaffirmed that it was sour and she just stared at me and kept denying. I suggested she try it herself to see what I meant. When she did she insisted that it tasted fine and that thai tea always tastes that way. She was clearly annoyed throughout the whole interaction and told me that she couldn't give me a refund since the drink was fine according to her. I asked if she could at least make me another type of drink and she laughed. She did end up making me another but not without giving me attitude, shaking her head continuously, rolling her eyes, and talking to her coworker about the situation in their language. When she was finished she slammed the drink on the counter in front of me. I thanked her for the drink but let her know that her behavior was uncalled for and I didn't come in with the intention of causing issues or trying to take advantage. I felt embarrassed because she raised her voice at me when everything happened even though other customers were around, one even checked up on me when we both exited. Overall I'm very disappointed and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. However, if you're looking for a restaurant with a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and questionable food quality give this place a visit.
