    41. Pad Si Ew Noodle with chicken

The spicy fried rice from here is the best! I can eat it at least once a month. The food is always out quick and it is always delicious. The pad see ew was also very flavorful.

Doesnt taste like thai food. Sorry to say that. Also it's not running by thai owner maybe thats why doesnt taste like real thai food. Order pad see ew and the taste is blend.

Why have I never been to this place before, I always ignored it since it never really got my attention till one day I decided to give it a try since I seen Jade Siam wasn't the only one in the area. Thai Tea: Don't know if its an addiction but one is never enough, even worse if it taste soooooo good! Hate that its bottomless refills... lol Pad Thai: Have to say it better tasting than Jade Siam... sorry! If you want the best tasting Pad Thai order it SPICY with both chicken and shrimp. Spicy Shrimp Fried Rice: Pretty good but not spicy enough to make your nose runny, so if you want it more spicy you have to ask for more spice. Chicken Satay: I believe this is better than Jade Siam for two reasons... the texture, color and taste of the chicken and the spicy taste of the peanut sauce they serve you. Just amazing!

I wanted to introduce colleagues to Thai food as they had never tried it before. I yelped for Thai places around and to my surprise there were quite a few Thai restaurants in this area. We settled on this as colleague remembered that there was a parking lot behind Gage Center. We ordered the following: Satay Chicken Shrimp Fried Rice Spicy beef Pad Si-Ew Regular Beef Pad Si-Ew Fried Fish Pineapple Green Tea smoothie w/ Boba Total with tip came to $64.83 Pros: 1) Food was extremely delicious. Spice levels were adequate in the noodles and the dish had a nice kick to it. 2) Pineapple Green Tea smoothie was the bomb according to one of the colleagues 3) One of my other colleagues who doesnt experiment with food also found the fried rice and satay chicken to his liking. *This joint had Satay Chicken made unlike all the other Thai restaurants. It felt more like a tandoor chicken with a Mexican twist to it than a Thai dish, in a very good way* 4) Portions were generous for the price. 5) There were several phone order pickups while we were dining. Food was being prepared and made ready at a very fast pace to patrons. Cons: 1) The restaurant had games etc. in the seating area. This felt more like an all in one cafe than an actual sit in restaurant. This could be a pro or a con, as you can purchase a lottery ticket while eating. How cool is that? (-1) Needless to say, I have both of my colleagues hooked to Thai food. One of them visited Renu Nakorn in Norwalk twice in the past 2 weeks already. I would definitely order food to go from this joint in the future.

Great Thai BBQ chicken, but all other dishes were just so so. Still our stable takeout when we crave for some Thai comfort food.

What I like most is knowing that we have a solid Thai food spot nearby without having to make a long drive. Every time we've ordered from here, the food has been consistently good and the portions are great too. We usually order takeout because when we're craving Thai food, it's one of those meals we love taking home, getting comfortable, and just relaxing while eating something good. I'll be honest, I've never actually dined inside, only done pickup orders, but every time I walk in the place has a lively atmosphere. You can tell people genuinely enjoy being there and enjoying the food. Makes me feel like the experience probably tastes even better dining in. The chow mein style noodles are always good, the broccoli beef never disappoints, and the fried rice is honestly really solid too. Their Tom Yum soup is amazing and somehow hits even harder after a long night or a hangover. My wife always orders the spicy chicken pad thai and keeps going back to it every single time, so that already says a lot. Another thing we really like is that the portions are enough to eat comfortably and still have leftovers for later, and somehow the food tastes even better the next day. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good Thai food in the area.

I felt almost confused at first, like as if the restaurant wasn't even sure of its own identity. However, once I started eating the food, I understood and am extremely impressed. I had ordered the crawfish pasta, popcorn chicken (spicy), and fried baos. The pasta was cooked perfectly with chunks of crawfish and sausage in a creamy tomato-esque sauce. I usually don't care for crawfish, but it was so delicious here. The sauce was so buttery and creamy, and the sausage added a cajun spice to the dish. The components are all very seafood boil, but felt different and innovative with unique flavors. The popcorn chicken was seasoned very well and had the perfect fried, crispy texture you'd expect from popcorn chicken. What really made this unique was the sauce that it was served with. I am not sure what exactly the sauce is, but it tastes like a ginger scallion sauce that is served with Chinese boiled chicken. The sauce is a little more elevated and flavorful than a traditional ginger scallion sauce. I would've never thought to combine popcorn chicken with it, but it works! The fried baos were the most surprising to me. I was keeping my expectations low because I usually think frying something that's not normally fried doesn't always bode well. Fear not, the baos were fried perfectly. They were fried lightly while the inside kept your typical bao consistency. Also, in case you were wondering the type of bao, it is basically a steamed bao with ground pork, and I think an egg yolk inside. The flavors felt very much like traditional dim sum, yet new and fresh. Hats off to the chefs and the creators of these dishes. So innovative while still keeping the familiar Asian flavors! I ordered delivery, so this review was solely based off of the food.

Unfortunately I had a very negative experience that ruined my entire perception of this establishment and made me come to the decision that I will never be a customer here again. I purchased a Thai tea with boba and realized that it tasted very sour. This has never happened to me before and I have purchased the same type of drink without issues. I decided to return to the store with the drink to let the staff know. When I told the female worker (who to my understanding is the manager) she was shocked and seemed almost offended. She told me that no one has ever had that issue and even questioned if it was my first time purchasing there. I reaffirmed that it was sour and she just stared at me and kept denying. I suggested she try it herself to see what I meant. When she did she insisted that it tasted fine and that thai tea always tastes that way. She was clearly annoyed throughout the whole interaction and told me that she couldn't give me a refund since the drink was fine according to her. I asked if she could at least make me another type of drink and she laughed. She did end up making me another but not without giving me attitude, shaking her head continuously, rolling her eyes, and talking to her coworker about the situation in their language. When she was finished she slammed the drink on the counter in front of me. I thanked her for the drink but let her know that her behavior was uncalled for and I didn't come in with the intention of causing issues or trying to take advantage. I felt embarrassed because she raised her voice at me when everything happened even though other customers were around, one even checked up on me when we both exited. Overall I'm very disappointed and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. However, if you're looking for a restaurant with a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and questionable food quality give this place a visit.
