Asked if it was my first time and she took a moment to explain the menu and options which is not always the case at some places (where it might seem bothersome to the worker if a customer asks questions or dare say it's their first time there). This was not the case here, very friendly. I settled on their bahn mi take on their sandwich. It was large and delicious, but so was the price almost $20, not including fires or combo option. Perhaps a reason the location was on the emptier side? I did also ask for a side of fries which were very good, seemed fresh made and we done. Even though we ate the fries about 10 after getting them, the cheese had already cooled and hardened into a mass which is the worst for any sort of cheese fries (IMO). The burger was decent but smaller than I imagined. To me, I feel like Carl's Jr. has something similar from time to time (with their rotating menu of special burgers) and is usually cheaper. The owners were there: cooking and serving the customers and we followed their recommendation for our order: home-made pita, pistachio hummus, and steak kebab.
