One of my favorites in Lemont. The service is always great. The food is some of the best "bar" food I have ever had. The raspberry vinaigrette is out of this world. Along with the fish tacos! Great place to grab a drink, a bite and watch a game!

Great place to go for a casual lunch in downtown Lemont. I was actually kind of surprised that on a Sunday late afternoon there weren't more people in the bar area watching the football game. I had a burger and fried pickle chips and the food was made nothing outrageous. I love pickles and unfortunately, the fried pickles were a bit tough. However, the apple cider martini came with a smoked cinnamon stick, which was pretty cool addition to it. When it came out it smelled so good and it was a generous pour which is always great. It's pretty spacious place inside, kind of on the dim side so if you have old eyes, be ready to use your assistive light. Our server was awesome. She was super energetic and friendly, fun to talk to. The outside patio area is large for it being a corner restaurant. It doesn't look at much, just a parking lot, but it's still really nice here. A great vibe all around.

I'm blown away by this place!! More of a dive bar grill vibe & not fancy by any means but wow, everything was so good! My friend and I went a shared some appetizers and a meal. Plenty of vegetarian friendly options as well. Our server, Flora, provided great service & was very knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be coming back here!

Located downtown lemont hands down by far the best bar food beats my favorite restaurant in Lockport. I won't mention any names. In any case, let me tell you for being a bar. Everything was homemade. I ordered the cream of chicken soup. It was actually one of my favorite cream soups I've ever had. Kind of had Chicken a la king feeling to it... Second, we ordered The impossible Burger... That alone would bring me back. We ordered a side of macaroni and cheese wasn't anything spectacular but children would love it... We had a side of these crispy potatoes that you can get loaded with fresh potatoes. They were delicious by themselves... I saved the bus for last because you wouldn't expect to be getting this item in a bar. We ordered the pot roast. I felt like I made it... And the gravy was Delicious! I wanted to put it on everything. I probably could have used a straw to drink it. That's how good it was... Why am I making a joke about it because a lot of restaurants like to use beef base gravy only . And although it is something that you add, you truly need the juices of the beef . I had the pleasure of having Jennifer and she was great..... This was a great lunch and I really look forward to going back.

this drink looks nice but it's $15 and tastes like dish water. they wouldn't exchange or take off the bill and this was the amount returned

it's sad to have to put this, but here we go. I'll start by saying our waitress was very attentive and even gave a recommendations and sadly that was part of the issue. we ordered an appetizer that was really delicious and 2 x-mas themed drinks that were highly recommended, but they didn't show the price. the first drink was mine and was nothing special but still able to be finished... the second drink was absolutely disgusting and not even a full sip was taken when the person i was with said she could not stand the taste at all. we were going to get it exchanged but they were trying to charge a second time for a drink that was beyond unacceptable. the manager was incredibly rude and said it doesn't matter if it was recommended or not and even if we didn't taste it we would be charged because they made the drink. I've never been to an establishment were the Manager basically talks down the customer when we didn't enjoy the experience. I would love to recommend the place because the food was really good but the whole experience left an even more sour taste in our mouths than the awful drinks. would highly recommend to take your business elsewhere to be better appreciated.

My friend and I went here and ordered the potato cracklings, avocado toast, and the cauiflower appetizer. Out of all three appetizers, our favorite was the cauliflower. The cauliflower has a nice crispy breading on it and the sauce was sweet. It tasted like orange chicken and was so tasty. The potato cracklings were nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The bacon, chives, cheese and sour cream on top was delicious. The avocado toast was spicy and had a kick to it. I liked the creaminess of the avocado on the fresh multigrain toast. The spicy mayo was the perfect touch. The service was really fast here and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Overall, this is a really nice bar and grill and I would recommend it.

Ribs with a smoky dry rub are the best. A must try appetizer siracha cauliflower, sweet and spicy. The drinks are the best.

5 stars for Lemont. Probably 4 stars in Chicago…read more Walked in on a Saturday for an early dinner. It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

The food is honestly the best thing about this spot; the vibes aren't quite right for a special date night, but might be perfect for a birthday party or girls night out and service can either be hit or miss. If you come here, definitely make a night of it in downtown Lemont - there's lots to explore, whether for a nightcap or dessert after Barrel & Vine to turn it into a night.

She was so sweet, service with a smile. We started with a couple of their handcrafted cocktails. Hubby had tonight's special drink, a Gold Rush. I had the sister to a Gold Rush, a Bees Knees. It's just a matter of bourbon vs gin. Both are refreshing cocktails made with honey and lemon. We shared the Spanish octopus to begin, a perfectly grilled octopus tentacle in a romesco sauce topped with pico de gallo and toasted almonds. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A generous portion and so tender. Hubby had the Saturday night special, the smoked prime rib. It came with grilled vegetables and truffle fries. He had this speciality last time. This time it was so fatty (see photo). I had the grouper puttanesca with couscous. I love grouper but I felt it was salty. With capers and anchovy, the fish didn't need salt as these things bring salt to the dish. However, our entrees were generous in size and tasty. We definitely like this restaurant. They have a loyalty program, plenty of seating inside and out, a nice bar area and a Vegas-style gaming room. Phoenix Kitchen even nixed using seed oil at their restaurant. We did miss out on the complimentary house-made limoncello this time. What's up with that?!

The not nearly often enough answer is 'everything went well'. At Hero's West in Lemont: - Ambience, designed to separate the bowling alley from the bar and grill so we didn't hear a pin fall. A clean, modern space with high ceilings and a roll-up overhead door for when warmer weather eventually returns. - Food and Beverages. An usually large selection of ice cold beers on tap. She took my wife's drink order and went to get it - without taking MY drink order. We thought that this was a fluke but it was indicative of how slapdash our entire visit would go. It felt like we were an annoyance keeping Kayla away from her top priority: her phone. Then my wife's burger came out on a pretzel bun that looked like it had been sat on - no lettuce, tomato or onions on the side - just meat on mangled bread (with fries). We tried to remedy this but had to wait for Kayla to put her phone down and wander back to our table to do so. This took a while. We usually get dessert when dining out, but we had enough of Kayla's half-assery for one evening that we didn't push our luck. All in all, the service was lousy and the food was sub-par. If/when we ever come back, it won't be anytime soon.

My SIL also got the Vesper Martini which was surprisingly amazing. All had a unique flavor profile, spirit forward, but also balanced well. My husband also got the TG Bees Knees which was delicious. For food, we started with the Baked Feta. This came with four warm pieces of bread to pair with the warm feta and sauce. For entrees, our waitress said the most popular dishes were the Duck and Seasonal Catch. My husband ordered the Pan Roasted Duck and enjoyed the tenderness and flavor. I ordered the Ravioli Au Dauphine which was served as a sheet. I enjoyed the filling flavor mixed with the sauce and cheese topping. It was the perfect winter pasta. My brother and SIL shared the Pork Belly Confit and Pan Seared Scallops. All dishes came out with a beautiful presentation. Across the board the portions seemed a bit small but you could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients they used. Gabby waited on our table and was such a joy. She was smiling always, made some great recommendations, gave us a good laugh at times, and was kind to take our photo to savor the night.
