I've been going to the Cornerstone for a long time. What seemed to be a cold place at first turned out to be the meeting place for some of the smartest, kindest people in the region. Friends meet, discuss and debate. A walking group of Camp Hill meets there in the morning, so you better get to your regular spot or table in time. Local artists display their works and we all have an opinion. Singers and entertainers do shows in the evenings. Benefits are held for friends and new local products are even sold in the store. The Cornerstone is the pulse of Camp Hill. It is everything one could want in a Community Coffeehouse. read more

You've absolutely got to try the honey vanilla latte. It's hands down the best coffee drink on their menu. I always go for an immune-booster smoothie when I'm feeling under the weather. They have a great selection of loose-leaf tea for rainy and chilly days. The food selection is great, too! I always go for the avocado toast. Love this place. read more

I'd love to give this place another star, but I've had some interactions with the workers there that have left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Cornerstone offers great flavored coffee options, and even seem to have their own blend which they sell in half pound bags (for $7-$8). They also have seasonal lattes which are okay but pricey. I'd recommend just going for a regular coffee. Also, they stop making food pretty early in the day (either 2 or 3) so don't plan on grabbing anything for dinner here. The seating is hit or miss, as there are nice tables with outlets available, but it can get packed really quick--so you have to aware of what time of day you're getting there if you plan on hanging out. read more

I absolutely love Cornerstone. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and there's always a wide selection of flavors! The atmosphere is also great - my best friend and I would meet there every week over the summer to catch up on what's going on in our lives, and now that I live abroad, I miss it more than anything. Great place to stop for lunch or to meet up to talk with a friend. I HIGHLY recommend the chick pea and feta salad (AMAZING)! You can do better. Bad service, average food, decent internet. We're in from out of town and have been to Cornerstone 3 times now simply because the place we're staying doesn't have internet. I've had a Chai each time which have been ok (they pour it out of a box & add some hot milk), their breakfast is mediocre at best. I've had both a croissant & a bagel- they microwaved the croissant without asking which of course made it chewy and unpleasant to eat. The bagel was store bought and toasted (again they didn't ask) which I don't prefer. Lunch was pretty good- we had their red pepper & smoked gouda soup & a grilled cheese. The sandwich was made with cheap American cheese but the soup was good. In short, if it weren't for the internet we wouldn't come here again. read more

Service was great. Nothing wrong with that, they were very nice. The food was EXTREMELY overpriced. And I mean overpriced. I payed because I thought it would be $6.50 for a FULL breakfast sandwich (I ordered the egg, avocado, bacon, and cheddar), which then it made sense it was $6.50. When I received it, it was the size of my palm. MY PALM. Not my hand, just my palm. And I have tiny hands. I was shocked. At this point I thought maybe it was just so delicious that it was priced like this. I was very wrong. It was so disappointingly bland. A small slice of everything except for the egg which was very thick and round. It tasted like nothing. I added salt which did not help. Then I got an Iced Coffee with cream, vanilla, and sweetener. It was $4.25 with a .50 extra charge for the flavoring. I was fine with the pricing as it was like any other coffee shop I've been to. When I tasted it, it was very odd. I'm not sure what they used but it was so strong it tasted like liquor. It might've been the vanilla flavoring. At this point I was overwhelmingly disappointed. I was expecting a lot of this place since it is always busy and received a lot of praise, but I ended up being very sad that it wasn't like my friends have told me. This place is mediocre. It's always extremely busy. Their drinks are just okay. Nothing special. It's frustrating because no matter what time of day you can't find a seat so my boyfriend and I always end up having to take our drinks to go. It was just "okay". Having friends who love this place I decided to give it a try. Latte was ok. Quiche had great flavor, but was cold; when I took it back I was told by one staff member "There's the microwave." My thoughts, for $22.00 I don't think I should have to cook my own breakfast. The atmosphere is excellent, but the overall experience was just: OKAY. I would hope the owner would talk to the staff about manners and customer service expectations. read more

I came here during my last visit to Pennsylvania and thought I'd swing by again since they were so nice my previous visit. I asked about their Cold Brew and if they knew what type of bean they used. They were all a little clueless, but we shared a laugh about that and ended up chatting a little bit. Plus, the barista was wearing a Ramones shirt, so I couldn't be too upset. The owners joined the conversation and it reminded me why I like the place so much. Since everyone was a bit unsure about the cold brew I decided to get the ginger peach tea, which I loved. As the owners were leaving they dropped off a small cup of their cold brew at my table and told me I had to try it because it's phenomenal. The gift was much appreciated and unexpected! The Cold Brew has a very nice, dark roast flavor with light hints of chocolate. Even though I usually like a medium roast, this was pretty great and I recommend stopping by to grab some anytime you are near. Thanks for the cold brew! Went here the other day with the family. My daughter got a raspberry scone, while my husband got a white chocolate mocha. I just got a water but tried both my husband's and my daughter's. The scone was disgusting... Pretty much inedible for my tastes (but my 14 month old loved it.) and the white chocolate mocha was WAY too bitter for me until the bottom three sips, which were pretty much completely chocolate. I was disappointed that they didn't have high chairs, so we had to sit outside with the baby on our laps. read more

You forgot my multigrain crackers, again. Nothing is more frustrating then driving to Cornerstone to pick up a to-go order .. a protein salad with crackers and getting back to work to open my bag and see that they forgot the crackers, AGAIN! [this is now the 5th or 6th time this has happened] Today, I drove to Cornerstone on my lunch break [17 minute drive!] and placed a to-go order for a protein salad with multigrain crackers. [I also repeated multi-grain crackers to him during the ordering process to ensure he would not forget] As the male cashier gave me my brown paper bag with my to-go items in it, I said, "crackers are inside right?" [something I have to ask every time I am there because they periodically forget] and he said "yep!" ... Well.... what do you know.... I drive 17 minutes back to my office, get ready to eat my lunch [I'm very hungry at this point and looking forward to eat] and dun dun dun ...... NO CRACKERS! :'( I searched the bag high and low, hoping they were lost between the napkins. Nope. What do I have to do? Open the oversized brown paper bag every time I get a to-go order to DOUBLE CHECK that they've placed everything inside? This would be quite a nuisnace to do so ... typically my hands are filled with a to-go coffee, napkins, my cell, my car keys and such. So this would now require me to walk over to a table, set everything down and then open the big brown paper bag and peak in to make sure the put the multigrain crackers inside. You may be wondering.... why is this frustrating? because this has happened many times before [seperate occassions]. My advice: if you request something, double check your to-go bag. Also, your flavored coffee was empty today. Not fun to be pushing the coffee nozzle down and near empty liquid just splatting out of the spout because there's no more coffee left. Well the cookie was good. Some oat nut thing that was gluten and dairy free. It was good because it was underdone in the middle... Super gooey... Too gooey. Like eating raw dough gooey. If it was cooked properly it would have been great! Also ordered the strawberry lemonade. Not a single bit of strawberry in it. Red food coloring and strawberry flavoring. Really?! It's summertime in PA, get some strawberries! It wasn't sweet, and didn't taste like strawberry. Just bitter lemon water. Also, the kitchen area is super dirty! The counters were filthy, the wood cabinets look like they are coated with a layer of dirty grease, the ice bin looked like it came out of a 1950's travel trailer... Can only imagine the mildew in that! The sink to the right of it was just as dirty! I mean seriously, you have a kitchen that is open to the public, act like it, take pride in it, and clean it up! My favorite coffeeshop. Always an interesting assortment of people, anyone from local politicians to SAHM with brood in tow to groups of teens to real estate agents. Great selection of freshly brewed, serve-yourself coffee. Of course, the usual variety of fraps, caps, and espressos (or is it espressoes?). Lunch is good. The menu, which changes daily, offers sandwiches, homemade and yummy soups, and salads. They often (everyday?) have a vegetarian offering. read more

Visited for the first time on a Saturday. Shop was very busy, nice coffeehouse vibe. My latte was made with sour milk - truly confused. My croissant was microwaved to mush and served in a plastic clamshell - again, so confused! The staff appeared really unhappy, I'll go elsewhere for a positive coffee experience. read more

Was a fan once of the protein salad. Was always "good and plenty" when (at least) eaten on premise. Today's takeaway was conjured up in a readymade container - so small and wilted. Bare minimum. I really enjoyed this place today! I wasn't feeling well so I only had an avocado toast and lemonade. I first requested that my avocado toast be on white bread, but they were out of it. The wheat bread was still good though. I only wanted avocado, salt, and olive oil on it but it came with seeds as well but it was still delicious. The lemonade was amazing! I've been to this place many times and because I live down the street I've given them the benefit of the doubt. The fact is they don't really do anything well except serve coffee and take money. They offer breakfast...made in a microwave. Service is chaotic and this morning they altogether forgot my breakfast. Another woman apparently ordered the same thing and I practically had to wrestle her for it. They have no process to know who has been served and who hasn't. Net-net, don't go there unless you want to drink a cup of coffee and lounge on their old furniture for a while. read more

Not happy about my visit today. Ordered a sandwich that took forever to get and when it arrived I noticed there was hair cooked into. I quietly notified the staff and they said they'd replace it. They did however the chicken was cold and they served it on the same plate the first one came on. I have been here before and each time I noticed ( this time too) that employees seem quite distant... I don't need a fanfare when I enter but they could definitely put a smile on their faces. I also think a credit for hair sandwich was in order. A cute little coffee shop in the Camp Hill area if you're looking to switch it up and don't just want a Starbucks coffee. Their bakery items are always fresh and delicious, and the coffee is fresh and gives you tons of energy! They have tea and smoothie options as well.
