I've passed Watershed Pub a million times and never stopped, so when I met a friend for lunch, it finally felt like the right time to check it out. Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting! read more

Atmosphere and seating around the exterior is on point. Really nailed the interior and fixing. They did a great job with heaters outside and retracting canopy blinds to make the outdoor space work in large swaths of the year. The main challenge: the food on two orders was a real miss. The review for the Greek salad was that it was one of the worst tasting Greek salads my brother has ever had, despite the attempt at some flare with phyllo on top. My second salad was equally uninspired. We didn't bother with anything else admittedly so perhaps their salad game is just very very weak, or a bad day in the kitchen. First time back to the water shed pub in a while. Our Dinner Club decided to try something new and something local. We were not disappointed. We started out with a variety of appetizers - the deviled eggs, smoked hummus, harissa, honey, carrots, Trufle, Parmesan fries, and Karaage. Karaage- is crispy chicken thighs with Korean barbecue, pickled carrots, scallions, sesame seeds, cilantro, and buttermilk ranch. Hands-down, my favorite, but the harissa honey carrots came in right under that! We also tried a tomato pesto pizza. The crust was crispy, but some of the other appetizers had such great flavors that it didn't stand out. Some of the entrées that were ordered were the spicy chicken sandwich, smoked short rib, Thai, Ramen, harvest, ravioli, and honey walnut salmon. All got great reviews and were enjoyed. For desserts, the Mexican hot chocolate brownie stood out as did the different Fox Meadows ice creams. Our server was very attentive. We appreciated her, anticipating our needs. Trying out a new place. Not our intention to go here tonight, but the place we were going to had an hour wait time. The food was good, however, I don't recommend their homemade potato chips. Maybe it was just a bad night, I don't know, but the chips came out very brown and tasted practically burnt. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the spicy chicken sandwich. They were good. We also had the truffle fries. They were ok at best. The entire truffle fry appetizer was just bits and pieces of fries and not a lot of regular fries. Might give the place another try at some point, but wouldn't recommend wasting your time. The place is also very loud. It seemed as if everyone felt the need the scream to communicate. Try this place and decide for yourself, but I won't be back anytime soon. Service was also kind of slow in our opinion. read more

Watershed was actually pretty awesome. Picked this restaurant thinking it would just be basic and generic, but wow food was phenomenal. Beet salad didn't have many beets, but the dressing was delicious. Portobello sandwich had a wonderful Smokey taste that added to the flavor palette. Well we are back. I just got back after a year deployed to Africa. This is our first time since grand opening night. The menu is completely different. No more turtle wings. Our server Jennifer was very nice. Nice cocktails and beers brewed by Millworks. Upstairs and downstairs bar. Seating inside and outside. We started with deviled eggs. Yum. I got a roast chicken thigh and it was very good. My wife got a burger. We also ordered the karaage. Really good. Finished with the earl grey cheesecake. It was ok. But I was full. A little disappointed this time! We ordered the Chicken and Waffles and the Apple Dulce Waffle. My wife had a Mimosa and I had Coffee. The food was great tasting and the plateing was very nice unfortunately the temperature of the waffles was non- existent. My wife's chicken also wasn't even Luke warm. I am trying to be really fair with this review because other experiences have been outstanding at this establishment. We did bring this to the attention of our server MJ who I must say did an excellent job even while waiting on several other patrons. He also offered to have our meals replaced but we were traveling and were behind schedule and the meals already to longer than expected to come out about 20-30 minutes. My rating for food temperature would typically drop this review about 2 points and the fact that MJ suggested taking and replacing the meals would up it a half that being said I did round up because they discounted the meal. A disappointing visit is not a reason to not return because the record of this establishment speaks for itself it is usually a 5 star. read more

First, everyone was very friendly and it is a great atmosphere. The pulled chicken sandwich had a ton of flavor and loved the spicy acidity. The smoked hummus was very yummy, maybe a little too much smoke, but the chili crisp brought a nice element. We were a party of 15 seated in the private room upstairs. Service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the menu had some wonderful dishes. From pastries, to pizzas, handhelds, and fabulous salads, there is something for everybody. There are vegan/vegetarian options, and the servers are willing to work with you to substitute ingredients. We dropped for brunch one Sunday. We always arrive early. It was almost empty. However, the host informed us that they could not seat us as there were so many reservations. I was incredulous and asked how many people can be seated at one time. He gave us a smirk and told us to make a reservation next time. The food is excellent. The service that day was horrible. Merely a week later we returned with some friends. Between us we had 4 entrees, 3 desserts, and some truly exceptional microbrewed beers. Last week I raved about the bbq brisket pizza, and this week we had the Thai Ramen, lamb bolognese, spicy chicken sandwich and the Greek salad with chicken. All of it was enthusiastically demolished, with a hearty assist from the Pitch Black beers. We landed the plane with the brownies ala mode and beet lime pie. We may well return next week! read more

We went to the Watershed Pub for lunch. We sat inside vs the heated outside porch. Both areas were full of energy and pretty full. You can secure a reservation on the restaurant's website (very simple). We started with Tomato Pesto Pizza. I enjoy the flavor but my daughter did not like a (spice) flavor in the pizza sauce. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with the house made vinegar chips. Both items were delicious. Service was pretty good. Overall, a nice place to enjoy lunch on the West Shore. read more

Tonight was the first experience at The Watershed, and we loved the vibe, decor and overall feel. We were seated promptly and received warmly by the hostess, and the food was very good, with the walnut salmon being the star, although a little overcooked. Several of our entrees (burgers, ravioli, crispy chicken sandwich) were quite good as well. The appetizers were nice (Rueben perogies, and pork bao buns). However, the service was oddly WAY off. Polite and friendly, but for the price point, I found that it was lacking quite a bit. After waiting quite some time, I walked up to the bar to get my own appetizer plates for our appetizers, needed to ask twice for soup spoons with our chowder and the food runners seemed lost and put out, almost unfriendly, placing meals in the wrong area with the expecation, seemingly, for us to pass the entrees to the right people. We asked several times for salt and pepper (which never came) and ketchup which only came after the third time we asked. The oddest experience was when our server brought my drink, handed it to the person at the end of the table, with no effort to get it to me, who was seated at the other end of the table. He actually never even told that person to pass the drink to me. Every staff has off nights, but for a 5:30 Friday six top, this service seemed very off. We will be back, because the food was good enough to warrant that, but will keep our service expectations set somewhat low. Hopefully, it was just an off night. read more

Another great meal at the Watershed. The sweet potato croquettes with bacon jam was rock star level, amazingly tasty. The chicken was excellent particularly the fried Brussels sprouts and I am not a sprouts fan. My partner enjoyed the short rib though she felt it was heavy. We had our work holiday dinner here on a Saturday evening. Hosted upstairs for happy hour, appetizers, followed by dinner starting at 5 pm. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a mix up with communicating the start time of happy hour so there was a slight delay of 30 minutes with setting out the apps. However, they were very quick to get the appetizers out, and they were very accommodating with the many food allergies by labeling and setting certain food allergens aside from the dishes so that everyone could enjoy. We were very happy with the staff, everyone was very nice and their energy matched the celebratory atmosphere we were hoping for. The upstairs was nice and cozy, creating the perfect setting for us to chat and enjoy the evening. There were smaller tables of 4 throughout and a bar for everyone to drink and chat and eventually enjoy the food. The food was set up in a corner on the left of the bar in a buffet style. All of the food items we chose were excellent. Appetizers included: hummus with pita, karaage, and deviled eggs. We chose three salads, all very good. Entrees included 3 pizzas, all good wild mushroom ravioli, steak & fries, harissa grilled chicken Unfortunately, some of the entrees came out lukewarm/cold, but overall, the food was all very well flavored. (Lost a star for this reason only, but really would have been 4.5) Overall, very happy with our experience! Will come back again! We were really looking forward to dinner with some great friends Saturday night, but got a little bit of a punch in the stomach when we checked in because the first thing the hostess said to us was you'll have to finish as soon as you can because we have many reservations at 7 (our reservations were for 5:30 which we were there at exactly 5:30). You plan for a get-together, relaxing, how's everything been, with friends you hadn't seen in a while and instead you get, eat quickly and get out.
