Very friendly staff and an at home feeling! We tried the Cinnamon Roll Cappuccino, it was very underwhelming and lacked that true cinnamon roll flavor. The macarons were delicious, imported from Sweet Velvet Macarons per the owner. The Cinnamon Rolls looked amazing! But they were ice cold. The staff did not offer them as heated up. I think it wouldve tasted perfect heated up! The Freezes did not mention coffee (was expecting more of a Frappe without the coffee taste. We ordered the Double Fudge. It come out with a label different then the menu Double Fudge Mocha. Was not what we were expecting. Going forward this place has tons of potential to be a top notch coffee shop! Hopefully with some more clarification on the menu and options to heat up their cooler items this could improve to a 4or 5 star place! read more

Been coming here literally since they opened. I really Enjoy coming here for coffee and breakfast. Staff is always nice and food is always amazing. The only thing I would say is a bit unfortunate is just the pricing of everything has gone up tremendously, which is understandable because everything else has, but I went to go order this morning online and avocado toast being $10 is actually kind of insane. I really enjoy this place and I like to come back here and there, unfortunately it's someplace I can't come to all the time like I have just because of how expensive it's gotten. It makes it hard when you want to support local businesses when they're pricing is a lot more than non-local businesses. Hope that can change in the future. read more

First visit feedback! Lovely space, kind employees - however the ordering could have been better. Couple in front of us took ages to order correctly; not sure whose fault it was. Ordered an iced coffee with pumpkin spice syrup and cream, and affogato. After another lengthy wait, we got our drinks. Iced drink was good, but wasn't pre-blended, no big deal. However, the affogato was a huge miss. They gave me americano (I think?) in a tall to-go cup. No ice cream present. I poured it out into another cup to be sure if it was maybe at the bottom or melted - but I only found gritty grounds at the bottom of the cup. Womp-womp. Hopefully they can match their drink service to the excellent atmosphere and decor. read more

Solid cafe. Kind of rare to find a place like this in the middle of nowhere. The service was great. The food tasted really good. I felt out of place for sure and got a few weird stares but there were also nice and friendly people. They had Christian music playing on a Sunday kind of vibe going. We stopped here because it was the closest coffee place to Pinchot Park. We were surprised by the quality of the food. It was delicious. However, the coffee was lukewarm at best and was served after the food. The coffee tasted nice, but why did it arrive after the food and lukewarm? The atmosphere was what made this 4 stars and not 3. We were disappointed to discover this establishment, while the globe is in the midst of a pandemic, did not heed the advice of the medical community and follow government requirement of wearing masks. It is posted on their door that they support Americans-- but masks are mandatory in PA ??? I really don't get it. We decided we would go in and get our drinks and leave. The sign said it welcomed everyone. Did we feel welcomed, no. There were 4-5 employees behind the counter. Two were standing right behind the register where we were standing. Were we greeted, no. Encouraged to ask questions, no. Instead the two employees held their own conversation. I had to interrupt then to ask about the menu. I was again disappointed when no one knew what a cortado was. When I told them it was 50/50 espresso with steamed milk- what I got was a cappuccino. I was not a fan. My husband got the coconut drink, which was actually pretty fantastic!! Did I think the place was super cute, heck yes! Would I go back if I'm in town again, probably not, given the lackluster customer service. Now if the espresso blew me away I could overlook the poor customer service, but that isn't the case here. read more

This a nice little spot to meet a friend or go out with a loved one for a bite to eat. Service is friendly but very slow. Not sure if they are short-staffed like a lot of places are or not and maybe that's the reason? The coffee I have found to be bitter to my taste so I usually get a latte so it's toned down by the milk. I really love their avocado toast and Big Al sandwich as well as the Southwest Salad. They recently started selling Sweet Velvet Macrons and I am in heaven. I found them at their shop in Camp Hill but The Hive is much closer so that makes me happy. So cute! A quaint coffee cafe with cute decor, good food and coffee. I had a dirty chai latte and blueberry sugar cake. Lattes were big (wow those dine-in mugs!) and not overwhelmingly sweet. Fragrant cinnamon on top of your foam. I prefer more chai taste but it was decent. The sugar cake was very moist (like flat muffin), real blueberries, perfect sweetness level. I had a bite of the chocolate chip sugar cake and it was firmer, drier, more cookie-like and covered in sanding sugar. Both cakes tasted great. Great prices for what you get ($5.72 for fancy 16oz [maybe bigger] coffee and 'large muffin'? Love it). The menu had all kinds of absolutely delicious sounding sandwiches-so sad I wasn't hungry enough to get one. A quick walk around the cafe lets you browse the local crafts for sale. This is a fantastic coffee shop. The staff are friendly and accomodating as much as they can. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owner listens to her customers (for example, they replaced some chairs because customers requested better back support). I get a lot of items from these guys. My wife and I found two of our favorite drinks from these guys (Dirty Chai Tea Latte for me, London Fog for her). I love their breakfast sandwiches, though I wish they had more pastries and breakfast items. Their sandwiches, salads, and soups are to die for. The charm of this place is all that I have previously listed, but it has the feeling of a local shop that a starbucks just simply cannot recreate. read more

Stopped here after running errands in the area. A few sandwiches on the menu caught my eye, so I asked if the breads contained soy. Although they did not have this info on hand (they should), they made up for it by sending an employee to the place that had all of their breads and they texted the nutrition info to the cashier. The breads ended up being soy free, and my reuben and "queen bee" sandwiches were absolutely delicious. My iced americano was quite good too, and it was the perfect cup size. The workers made my day by going out of their way and drove somewhere just to accommodate my allergy, when a lot of places would have just turned me away or say 'we don't know sorry.' On top of being so accommodating, I enjoyed everything I ordered, the sandwiches were perfect portions for lunch. The queen bee was pretty soggy the next day as I saved it for lunch the next day, but what can 'ya do, not a big deal. The breakfast menu looked good too, I'll have to give it a shot one morning. My family and I have gone to the hive multiple times and have promoted their business to plenty of family and friends. We went in this morning for breakfast and along with no mask in the middle of a global pandemic, they served me coffee/creamery that tasted old and expired. The coffee was $3.50 and when I complained they told me, "since you bought it and we already made it we can't replace it" and along with that the manager basically dismissed me. Makes me disappointed that a small business I supported wouldn't replace my coffee that I ordered which was tainted with a nasty taste. I will not be recommending this business in the future, and I am disappointed they handled the situation they did. I have never had to ask twice for a replacement coffee anywhere I have gone, keep in mind I've never had to since my coffee never tasted as foul as it did. I'm just amazed a business wouldn't replace an iced coffee that didn't cost them much to make?! read more

Opened the front door and was appalled to see 4 employees behind the counter, none wearing masks, and a maskless customer. Promptly turned the other way and left because I didn't feel safe entering.
