Unfortunately, I asked them to nail down a few squeaky floorboards once they had removed the old carpeting. Even met the installers at the house to show them what areas, as I had previously arranged this with Jim. When I brought it up, the installers looked at my like they had no idea what I was talking about. But after showing them, they assured me they would address this. Not only did none of the areas of squeaky floorboards get nailed down, there seem to be more now! When I mentioned it to the guy in the office when I went in to make the final payment, he said "oh, we'll fix that". I have not heard a word since. Very frustrating and disappointing. read more

I am very happy with Jim and his crew. Years ago, they refinished my parquet floors and they looked brand new. Recently, I had a slab leak and after my floors were sawed up, they were able to replace tiles and match the existing finish! I am so happy that he saved me the expense of replacing the floors! This review is long overdue...we used Cornerstone Floors to replace our laminate floors with premium vinyl flooring. Russ was recommended to us by our contractor, and he was a pleasure to work with. He gave us a reasonable quote and made sure we knew we could call him anytime with questions or concerns. Initially, the flooring on the stairs was not installed correctly. I called Russ that evening and he came out immediately. He ordered replacement materials and assigned Omar and his crew to the job. I was extremely happy with Omar and his crew. He is very hard-working, knowledgeable, and conscientious. Omar asked questions throughout the job to make sure that he installed the flooring exactly how I expected it. I never realized how complicated and time consuming it is to install flooring on the stairs (plus the finishing trim). The end result was excellent. We are also thankful that Omar noticed when another company damaged our newly installed floors as he was cleaning up. Russ and Jim came out to look at the damage, and Russ dealt directly with the other company. True to his word, I never had to worry about replacing the damaged planks. We will definitely call Cornerstone Floors in the future for any other flooring needs. read more

I was in the market to have laminate flooring installed in a hallway of my home after purchasing the material from elsewhere and failing at installing myself. I needed to have the work completed in less than a weeks time. Jim the owner understood my situation and was able to accommodate my timeline as well as recommending a higher quality of flooring. His pricing is very reasonable to the point I was able to have flooring installed in two other rooms. His crew did a great job with the installation, I could'nt ask for more. I have used Cornerstone Floors in 2 different homes. Our first home we put in carpet, and laminate. Jim and his crew worked very fast and effectively. They installed everything in one week (was our goal), and with great quality. 5 years after everything was installed we experienced some shifting in the laminate. Jim and his crew came out immediately and fixed the problem at no cost. My husband and I were very impressed with how quickly Jim came out, and was willing to fix whatever was going on. When we decided to buy another house we knew that Jim was our guy. We had Cornerstone come out to our new home and install waterproof laminate. We had 1 week to move into our new home, and lots of work to do... Cornerstone was able to get it done! They had LOTS of demo work... from tile, hardwood, and even vinyl. The guys worked hard, and had zero mess left over! My husband and I were yet again VERY satisfied. THEN... We started experiencing problems with our waterproof laminate. We started getting deep scratches, dents, etc... I called Jim frantically! I was frantic because we had only had the flooring for about 5 months. I was assured the flooring shouldn't be doing that... especially after I choose a flooring option that was supposed to be VERY durable. Jim came over right away. He was beyond shocked as well. He agreed that wasn't normal. He had never experience anything like that. He immediately called the manufacturer of the flooring that we choose. The manufacturer came out (within 2 days), with Jim, and they devised a plan. Last week it was decided that everything would be replaced. It was a bad lot. Jim had his crew here all week working very fast and hard. Our floors were replaced, and we were not responsible for anything. It was a bummer to have to do it all over, but knowing Jim was there and took care of us made my husband and I very thankful. I can go on and on about Cornerstone! I'm so thankful for Jim and his team. I also want to point out that Jim did our quartz counter tops in our kitchen, and 2 of our bathrooms. He also re tiled our 2 fireplaces. They look amazing! I had two estimates to install carpet in my home, Jim from cornerstone gave me a great deal on quality carpet and installed it the following week. The thing I liked the most is he measured the rooms and printed me an estimate on the spot. The money I saved I used to install new ceiling fans in two of the rooms. I had high expectations, but was really let down. I shopped around and definitely they offered the best deal so we went with them for the carpet install in our nursery. We called to schedule the install and Jim came out quickly, he met with my husband and took our order, up until this point we were super impressed. My husband was told that he would receive a phone call when the carpet came in to schedule the install, totally fine by us, we were told it would be 10 days or so, still totally fine by us. 10, 11,12 days later no call, my husband calls and Jim says "oh yeah you're all good, we've got you down for 5/24 at 4:00pm". My husband was surprised because no one had called him to schedule the install, but the date and time that Jim "had us down for" worked so all good! 5/24 comes, 4:00pm comes, no one shows up, 4:30 still nothing, traffic we thought, 4:45, let's call. I call the 800 number listed here on Yelp and spoke with Jim's wife, super sweet lady, she tells me that "the guys" got caught up and backed up on a different install and failed to let her know, so at this point they wouldn't be making it to us, had I not called no one would've called us. She then tells me that because this is their "screw-up" they'd make it up and install the following day at whatever time it was convenient for us, I said 4pm would be great. The next day comes, 4:00pm comes, and they're not here, I call at 4:30, Jim answers, I ask for an update and he says that they have me down but for install anytime between 4-6! I reminded him that his wife mentioned making "any time that worked for Us work for them, and that was 4pm". He hangs up, calls me back, locates his guys and 20 minutes they're at our door. The install itself was quick, easy and well done. The lack of communication is what brought this review to 2 stars. read more

We looked all around for carpeting and compared the larger brands with some smaller business options. When we visited Cornerstone, the sales staff was very friendly and pointed us to the exact carpeting we were looking for to meet our needs. The pricing was terrific, yet we still had high expectations. Cornerstone Floors exceeded our high expectations. The quality of the installation, the friendliness, and professionalism of the installers was tremendous. We expected delivery within 6 weeks, Cornerstone was able to deliver within 5 days. We were told the installers would show up at 9:00am, they showed at 8:00am. After a thorough walk-through, they knew what the job entailed, yet, as often construction jobs go, there was more to the installation than planned. The installers worked tirelessly, and after hours, to ensure a quality job was performed. The installation was done better than expected. Since we have had our carpeting, we have had many neighbors and all our family comment on how great it all looks. We have referred friends to Cornerstone within the first month of install because we were so satisfied and would recommend Cornerstone with the highest rating. We needed to replace the tired old carpet in our house and wanted clean ceramic tiles throughout. Jim brought samples to the house one of which perfectly matched our tiled showers which is what we wanted. The quote was very reasonable for the materials and work involved. The job was initially scheduled to take the better part of 2 weeks but Jim put a larger crew on the job and we had our new tile floors installed as well as new baseboard throughout by Friday afternoon of the first week! We could not be happier with the quality of the work and the timely installation. We would recommend Jim and his crew at Cornerstone Floors to anyone in the market for new flooring. read more
