After our wood plank flooring was completed, we had some issues with a leak, and this is where she truly went above and beyond. A lot of companies would have simply said, "That's not our issue," and moved on, but Robin did the opposite. She worked hand in hand with us, helped troubleshoot, delegated to the right people on her team, and made us feel like she was genuinely trying to solve the problem with us. Her responses were incredibly quick, even on her days off, and that level of care is rare. I've been wanting to post this for awhile now but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to the retailer and manufacturer that it "will get better" in a few months.  I had purchased this expensive wool carpet for 3 of my small kids rooms back in May of 2024; thinking will help with any allergies and longevity.  Months in the shedding began; yes I know wool sheds but was not prepared for the excess amount. 1 room alone my vacuum would be filled to the brim.  I was told "it will get better after the initial shedding, give it a few months." Months go and still the same outcome.  Finally 2 reps for the carpet manufacturer came out and they said don't see it as being a issue. In quote she said "just get a white dog and won't notice as much" like what?!  And how convienently both the reps said they have the same carpet as well as my sales associate and they had no issues.  This photo was taken today after vacumming 2 small rooms; how is this normal?? I have a year of photos like this.  Also attached photo is left over overage carpet is in our garage with no use. I absolutely do not wish to use it at all and asked if they would purchase back from me and no response. My kids are not allowed to even sit on the carpet because of the shedding. After going to Floor and Decor, none of the LVP was to our liking. We thought we'd check out Sterling and when we first arrived, Kristi was so sweet and asked us what we like. We ended up leaving with Cortec LVP for $3.50 s.f. (something around that range), which was a bargain. Kristi was even able to get a small discount on top of that. We ended up having 10 boxes leftover and Sterling was able to accept them all back. They even helped me unload it from my car. I would highly recommend! The only thing to note is the Cortec stock we got, they didn't display the model for it, so it was hard to tell what it would look like. I don't 100% love the Cortec style we chose, but that was on us. Just FYI. read more
