Great service and helped me with a few pointers . I does take about an hour for pig to be ready. Be prepared for the smell .

We bought and butchered this sheep.

We went yesterday and are very happy with the sheep we bought and butchered. The meat was lean and will be great for our barbecue and also for Thanksgiving. We will be going back just before Christmas. $280 well spent.

I also purchased some Al Pastor but that's in our freezer for the next barbecue!! my son had already bought Carne Asada somewhere else. I begged him not to because I wanted to try this place out for Carne Asada. So Victoria was kind enough to give me a little sample and that's in our freezer. We found them about three months ago when we started getting concerned about what was really in our meat, and it has completely changed the way our family eats. We ended up buying half a cow from them, and the quality is just incredible. Nicole and her entire staff are truly amazing--so knowledgeable, attentive, and always willing to take the time to explain everything about the cuts and sourcing. You can tell they genuinely care about what they're providing. The beef is outstanding--hands down the best we've ever had. Their chicken is just as impressive, and even the hot dogs are fantastic. Honestly, we've tried just about everything they offer, and there hasn't been a single disappointment. At this point, our freezer is stocked exclusively with Brunk's Butchery meat, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you for making it possible for us to truly enjoy beef, chicken, and pork again with confidence. We will never shop for meat anywhere else!

The meat market is connected to the restaurant (same ownership/management), and the meat quality never disappoints. My favorites to buy are the chorizo and the marinated chuck steaks. They also sell the restaurant's salsas in the market, along with totopos, corn and flour tortillas, seasonings, and more. It does get busy, but with the growing popularity (thanks, TikTok), that's expected. Bring a little patience if you visit on a busy day. The market itself is small with limited standing room, but the guys behind the counter know this and move quickly to get your order packed. The restaurant side is busy too, and it's gotten even more so since I first found it. I'm honestly glad I found this place. They have my favorite tacos in the IE. Before this, I'd still drive to OC for tacos because nothing here matched what I was looking for. Now this is my go-to spot. My favorite thing to order is the taco special: 3 tacos with a drink (agua fresca or canned soda), or 5 tacos with a drink. They offer a great variety of meats at no extra charge -- my favorites are al pastor and carne asada. They also have a solid lineup of Mexican food: birria, sopes, nachos, burritos. My daughter loves the burritos -- it's her backup spot when she can't make it to her favorite shop. Every dish I've tried has been fresh, with generous portions. Nothing sits around getting cold, because most food is made fresh as you order it -- which is exactly why there's a bit of a wait on busy days. While you wait, hit the salsa bar. The pickled jalapeños (I believe house-made) are excellent, and the pickled onion/habanero mix is a must-try if you like spice. I recommend most of the menu -- you really can't go wrong. The restaurant and restroom are both very clean. Parking can be a little tricky on busy days but usually clears up quickly. Prices run a bit higher than other spots, but it's worth it.

My husband bought 10 lbs of meat from another location for our taco Sunday and we loved it, so we came back--this time to this location since it's closer to home. We ordered chicken for tacos and wanted to try some wings too. I asked for 6 wings... and the worker literally laughed at me. Then he called his coworker over, said something in Spanish, and just walked away like we weren't worth his time. What exactly is wrong with ordering 6 big wings? We are a small family... Do I need to drop $100 every visit just to be treated with basic respect? Why do i wanna get so much food then waste it if i cant finish? I was pissed, but I didn't want to make a scene, so we paid and left. But yeah--definitely not coming back.

I always get Al Pastor and Pollo Preparada. I have tried the carne Picada a few times but find it to be tough to eat with extra fat, which isn't found in their other taco meats. They have other specials on their meats M-Th and it's different each day. My favorite has to be the Prime Rib Eye steak. The most flavorful and buttery steak ever, and ranges about $20 per steak, depending on thickness. I have also tried their Asada (which is good) and Tesajo. The first few times I tried their Tesajo it was tender and delicious. The last few times it has been tough and hard to chew. I'm not sure what has changed with this meat. They also have a small selection of cheeses, salsas, tortillas and larger selection of spices/rubs. I recently bought two Reserva Premium blends and I'm enjoying them. My favorite salsa is their Verde and they have minimal ingredients added with great flavor, which is excellent! Customer service varies. Not sure if Annabelle still works here but she was always so friendly and helpful. The butchers are always very helpful, but many times the ladies checking you out won't even look at you and aren't very inviting. I'm still getting good products so it's just something worth mentioning. Lastly, if you go on any holiday you can expect a line out the door. My recommendation is go the day before, if possible, or you can even call in your order. Enjoy!

I originally placed my order and received my meat promptly. However, my order was missing a few items and they said they'd get it to me shortly.
