Called for a repair on my Lenovo, as they are listed as a service provider. Due to a backlog of repairs on their end, he said I could bring in my PC, but that it might be 2-4 weeks before he can even look at it. That is obviously not doable. I asked about getting in the queue, and getting a call when they were ready for it (so I am not without my computer for 2-4 weeks with NOTHING happening to it) and he said that's not an option, that it needs to be there when he's ready to work on it. I had to bring my still-new HP Elitebook here for service--they are an authorized HP service center so they can do warranty work. One day the laptop simply wouldn't turn on and wouldn't charge. CCC gave me fast, efficient help. I had my laptop back in working order within 24 hours! (Luckily it was a simple issue that did not require sending out for parts, but even that would only have taken a few days.) I got way better service here than I did via the HP service chat line, whose "solution" would have required me to send away my laptop for a couple of weeks. I'll be back here for all my computer repair needs. read more

My old Lenovo laptop (T400s) was overheating - a lot. For many tasks I had to set it on an an ice pack, even software upgrades. I called multiple vendors about cleaning the vents. Most places did not want to attempt it. CCC said it would take less than a day but I had to drop it off and wait (backlog in their repair shop) and it might take 4 weeks. Since it was my only solution, I went ahead. 7 days later they said I could pick it up. They had cleaned out the vents and surrounding air flow areas. Cost was less than $100. It has been running perfectly. They did a great job. read more

Recently had my Lenovo T460s warranty serviced here. I spoke to a very professional David and he was able to replace my defective laptop screen in one day. I received a phone call yesterday from the manager apologizing for my poor experience with this company. They offered a full refund to my company and I was waiting to confirm with accounting about the refund before posting an update on this review. I was pleasantly surprised today to receive a personal letter from Michael Schriber apologizing again and explaining that the necessary steps to remedy the situation within their organization are taking place. I brought my ThinkPad T430 for a warranty service because of Lenovo's bad BIOS update. They took a look at my laptop and determined it needs a new motherboard. Three business days later I received a call from one of the staff and said it is ready for pick up. That's faster than send it back to Lenovo repair center! Excellent service! Had been on the phone with Costco Concierge tech support and HP tech support all morning. Unable to solve problem and was going to have to send computer in for diagnostic and repair. Walk-in to Corporate Computer Center, Mike Bachnak listened to my description of the issue, fired up the computer and within 10 minutes had it running perfectly. Came home with a running computer rather than getting it ready to ship and be without for 10-15 days. Mike was professional while being friendly and obviously extremely knowledgeable. UPDATE: For the second time, David Lewis quickly and efficiently solved this problem. After several Windows updates, the printing problem returned. For awhile, I accepted risk and reset back to a prior update. Eventually, this stopped working and I again called David. Even though this is clearly a Windows problem, David quickly solved the problem. David Lewis, Service Manager at Corporate Computer Centers, Inc. is a ROCK STAR! In a very few minutes, he solved a printer driver problem that was insurmountable for several different Hewlett-Packard Technical Support Engineers. For sure, it was beyond my capabilities and I spent several hours with HP tech support and doing online research. The problem was that Windows 8.1 (64 bit) OS will not easily drive an older HP LaserJet 3600 Color Printer. This issue was two of the top three issues on the HP website. A HP Technical Support Engineer sent me instructions that could not be followed. Literally, the instructions HP sent were factually wrong. HP wanted me to pay their $39.95 for technical support with no assurance of success. Ultimately, HP surrendered to the problem and offered me a loyalty discount on a new printer. Ha! I say, Ha!. The printer works fine with my old computer and I have $600 worth of new toner cartridges. This is why I was resistant to upgrading printers at this time. Then I called Corporate Computer Center, Inc. at: 858-597-0078 and spoke to David. He had not seen this problem with Windows 8.1 (64 bit) OS and the HP LaserJet 3600 Color Printer. However, David jumped on the problem and quickly fixed it. Let me say this again, David fixed the problem! This was my first experience with Corporate Computer Center, Inc. I have a brand new Lenovo Thinkpad 440s that was having horrible buzzing issues when I used my external speakers. When I say "horrible", I mean unbearable! After talking to Lenovo tech support several times and having them tell me they never heard of this issue before (I bought and returned one Ultra Dock and was on my second Pro Dock with exact same issues, plus a bunch of annoyed customers on Amazon who had the same issues as I did, yet Lenovo tech support never heard of this before?!), they assumed the problem was a bad system board and I needed to send in my laptop to them - one week turnaround if I was lucky. I called back just before I was going to ship out my computer to ask if they needed my docking station just in case the issue was there, and they said "I guess so", but it had to be shipped totally separately from the laptop. I was not happy about having to send my laptop and docking station in separate boxes because I wanted them together when they arrived at Lenovo, duh, right? Anyway, long story short (well, not so short for Yelp, right?), I decided to check out one of my local authorized Lenovo repair centers and it was the best decision I could have made. David, at Corporate Computer Centers, was a godsend. He and his team immediately duplicated the problem, got on the phone with Lenovo and found that an entire generation of docking stations was having this issue. He then had to get on the phone several more times to Lenovo because their tech/customer support teams don't seem to all have the same level of knowledge and information on their items (I also experienced this firsthand, which is why I chose a local repair center), and they finally confirmed the process of replacing this defective docking station, and they overnighted a replacement docking station with the fixed parts. David tested my system there, called me to come get it, and when I arrived he tested it in front of me to show me that the problem no longer existed. I am writing this review from my home office, where my system is plugged in and appears to be working fine now. Next time I have any issues (and I hope this is the last issue I have or I wont be buying Lenovo products again), I will definitely just go directly to Corporate Computer Centers! They were totally no hassle, easy to deal with (no money exchanged hands as I was under warranty). Got the problem fixed and I had my system back home in less than 3 days time, when it would have taken at least 2-3 weeks for Lenovo to do the same for me. THANKS DAVID and team! read more

I needed my ThinkPad repaired and preferred to take it a service center over sending to Lenovo. However, my unit had multiple issues and Mike made it clear upfront that it would be better to send it in (especially for a screen replacement which Lenovo may not determine defective if replaced). The process took a little longer than expected (not any fault of Corporate Computer Center) and Mike was helpful updating me every step of the way. I dropped off my Lenovo W530 yesterday and already have it back today! David was awesome - he diagnosed the problem in a couple of hours, called me to let me know the issues, and the machine was ready the next day. It was still under warranty and the alternative was to send it to Lenovo's center in Kansas for at least 7 business days. This was a much better solution especially since this is a certified Lenovo service center! David also noticed how big the paging file was and suggested a more reasonable size since my SSD was so full. Thanks David for the great service!! read more

This company has fantastic customer service when it comes to Lenovo products. I had a broken power button on my $500 lenovo thinkpad tablet. Sent it to Lenovo while it was under warranty to get it repaired and their response "it will cost you $300, no waranty". They gave me no explanation why and sent it back to me. I searched Yelp and called another company first and they were rude just answering the phone. Then I called Corporate Computer Centers. Not only were they helpful over the phone right away, they were timely with giving me status AND fixing my tablet! On top of the great customer service they fixed my tablet under warranty so NO cost to me!! Kudos goes to the company with great company service and techincal support! Last point: my tablet had 20+ days left on its warranty, so I had planned to extend it just in case I had another problem. Went to Lenovo's site today. Lo and behold my warranty expired at the same time it was in their possession!! Note to self: put LENOVO ON THE BOTTOM OF ANY SHOPPING LIST!
