This is how you run a hotel. This is how you do service. This is what every hotel should strive to be! I was absolutely overjoyed to stay here and I can see why it is so highly rated. From check in to check out I have been absolutely stunned at the exceptional service, attention to detail, and well appointed rooms and facilities. Is this hotel older and reminiscent of a motel... sure but they bring service and renovations to make it a proper 4-star on paper and 5-star in review hotel. One last minor comment before I get into the thick of it here, they have an awesome playlist of music going around the property! The 10-point test Room size: perfect size with a balcony. It was strange to have the couch face the wall instead of the TV though. Otherwise really well laid out and good size. ++ Room condition: really good. Some minor stains on the couch but otherwise really nice and modern and everything was functioning. ++ Room smell / noise: neutral, a faint cleaning smell, but faded quickly. Not loud at all and you can run the central fan for background noise. + Room cleanliness: no issues, it was clean. + Thermostat: fully functioning heat and air conditioning with no issues. ++ Junk fees: none! ++ Amenities: amazing pool and hottub as well as cabanas with fire pits. Great indoor space to relax upstairs and in lobby. Restaurant is not attached but literally next door. Room service. They could use a water refill station on each floor. They do not have a gym but partner with YMCA. + Hotel location: perfect right on the edge of town with amazing views and walkable to downtown and shops. Check-in and service: check-in could be improved with explanation of benefits but overall a nice experience and imagine this... upgraded weeks in advance! Overall the service here is truly at luxury levels. They are well staffed and every single staff member was working hard, pleasant, and nice to interact with. Never had any issues with getting housekeeping or extra requests. ++ Platinum benefits: amazing. Upgraded, free breakfast which includes food and beverage. ++ I will be back here and I really hope to have the same experience! read more

We had a great time at the Corque Hotel! It's incredibly cute, clean, & staff are great! We also *really* LOVED the shower gel & body they provided. It's so fragrant, light, & refreshing ! We both them both to take home with us! In the lobby you can find iced cold fruit-infused water, usually two different flavor pallets too! It's small, boutique, & in perfect distance to everything you need. But yet you still get a little break from all the hustle & bustle. It's also important to note that Corque is quite literally a 2-3min walk to sweeping panoramic views of the beautiful valley from the garden vistas at Mission Santa Inés, which was founded in 1804! Very cute property right in the heart of Solvang. King room was spacious, with a separate tub in the equally spacious bathroom. Mini fridge and Keurig in room, no microwave if that's your thing. I was able to park right in front; I assume there are more spots behind the building. Staff were all very nice and welcoming. There's a lemon water station in the lobby, but alas, no coffee bar in the morning. Walking distance to restaurants and bars and shops and bakeries in the neighborhood. Not sure if the walls were just thin, or if the family (and their child) next door were extra loud, but I could hear them in the morning. I'll make sure to request a far corner next time I'm back. One star knocked off because we did book two rooms and we asked for late check out. They confirmed late check out but only allowed for one room but we were not aware of this. First, let me say that the Corque ( pronounced 'cork' ) Hotel has great curb appeal and is situated in a lovely location ! The charming, yet stately brick design adds such character to the outside, but while you step inside, the open and captivating lobby is so inviting with plenty of comfortable seating and a cozy fireplace ! It offers ample free parking surrounding the establishment, Bell service if desired, and free cool refreshments ! Hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and available to assist with any needs one may have. The elevators are always ready for you and the rooms are a just a short walk. Our accommodations were beautiful and spacious allowing for places to hold luggage, stow your belongings, or just relax after a busy day of exploring Solvang. The neighboring restaurant, "The Craft House at Corque" offers room service, as well! The bathroom offered plenty of space to move around along with nice amenities. We also loved the water pressure in the sinks and wide shower which was nice and quite strong. Our bed was firm, yet comfortable with fluffy pillows and comfy blankets ! Room decor was updated and blended nicely with Solvang's Danish style and relaxing energy ! Their pool / hot tub area was neat and clean, while the water was clear, warm, and welcoming. Additionally, the town shops, restaurants, bakeries, along with the Santa Inés Old Mission are just a short stroll away. Considering the location and time of year, our stay was also priced quite reasonably. Just as a side note, this is a Marriott boutique hotel and is part of the Bonvoy Tribute Portfolio. Overall, this is really one of the nicest and most satisfying hotel stays I have had in quite a long time. We will definitely be returning for our next vacation. Cheers ! read more

We had an amazing stay here to cap off an interesting weekend that involved our flight getting cancelled due to a big Texas winter storm earlier this year. We were driving down from San Francisco and needed somewhere to stay for a few days to get some remote work done and we found the quaint town of Solvang to stay in and booked this hotel very last minute. We came in late at night and the hotel staff were superb in helping us and were incredibly friendly. We had a nice quiet room at the end of the hall that was very comfortable and modern. Especially for a great price and for being a part of Mariott Bonvoy! There were some really nice perks of this hotel that I haven't seen at others and found online very quickly. Being able to walk around the town of Solvang to get some Aableskiver in the morning and explore the restaurants and beer gardens was great. The complimentary wine tasting at Gainey Vineyards and complimentary access to the local YMCA for a morning workout were also really nice. When we left, one of the workers, I forget the lad's name, was incredibly nice in helping us with our luggage and getting our car loaded. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, my stay at Corque Hotel felt absolutely magical. We visited during Julefest in Solvang, and the lobby immediately set the tone -- especially the large, real gingerbread house displayed right in the center. It was such a warm, festive welcome and a perfect reminder of how powerful a first impression can be. The staff truly elevated the experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Since this was our first time in Solvang, they were especially helpful with recommendations and local tips, which made us feel genuinely cared for, not just checked in. One of my favorite little touches was the flavored water station in the lobby -- the cinnamon water was such a cozy, thoughtful detail and perfectly matched the holiday atmosphere. And then there was the room -- the real star of the show. It was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and featured modern upgrades that made the stay feel both comfortable and upscale. There is a clear reason this hotel holds a four-star reputation. The on-site restaurant was also outstanding and clearly not an afterthought. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, the hotel's holiday cocktail bar experience felt like stepping straight into a classic Christmas movie -- festive, immersive, and full of nostalgic charm, like a 90s holiday film brought to life. Excellent place to stay in Solvang. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants in DT Solvang! Nice cozy lobby. Front desk staff very inviting and helpful. We did use the pool but there is a nice pool and pool area. Room wa clean, recently updated and bed very comfy. Bathroom stocked with large pump bottles of showe gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Plenty of bath linens! Marriott just recently took over Corque Hotel. Prior to this visit, we have been here many times for private events, that were always great including the food! They now have a separate restaurant next to the hotel property (used to be within the hotel) that looks very good. We definitely plan to stay here again. Highly recommend Corque! read more

Beautiful hotel! Solvang is such a cute, quiet town. We had a 2 queen bedroom with city view. My expectations were definitely exceeded! Funny enough, my favorite part was the gorgeous bathroom. Plus our windows opened up so you could look out. Beds were super comfortable, quiet in the hotel too, I didn't hear anyone else outside the rooms or next door. Staff were all very nice. The pool and hot tub were great, nice size. Hotel was in a great spot in town with lots of shops within walking distance. I can't wait to come back! read more

We stayed here during the summer 2024 for several days during a Solvang trip with friends. This was a fabulous place to stay and easily explore downtown Solvang. All the downtown shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. The building blends in perfectly with the quaint Danish-style architecture of the town. There's lots of free parking available, check-in was quick and the staff was great. It's a little thing, but we appreciated the fruit-infused water that was always offered in the lobby area! I liked the fact that the lobby elevator required a room key - nice security touch. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I especially loved the dual sinks in the bathroom and the large shower with soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers! I highly recommend the Hotel Corque and would definitely opt to stay here again when visiting Solvang! read more

Had a wonderful one night stay at Corque Hotel with zero things I'd want to change, such a great stay in Solvang. The hotel is perfectly located, somehow quiet despite being right in the heart of Solvang. Everything was perfectly clean, from the lobby to the room, to the bathroom in the lobby. Staff is incredibly welcoming; always greeting you with a smile and rushing to open the lobby doors. The hotel is modernly and beautifully decorated for the holidays (ornaments, a giant gingerbread house, and a menorah) and an assortment of infused water is available in the lobby. Parking is free and easy, WiFi is easily available, and the hotel provides you with a very helpful map as well as a list of wineries where, as a guest of the hotel, you can either get free tastings or 2 for 1 tastings. Great hotel! Clean & modern room. Had the Queen suite that came with 2 full bathrooms, living room, sofa bed, mini fridge, beverage fridge & eating area with bar stools. Room 335, highly recommend. Came with a Juliet balcony. Ate at the Crafthouse. Delicious. Had their shrimp pasta, the sauce was so tasty. Be sure to make reservations. Had pretty good pizza at Tower pizza. Tried Kanok Thai restaurant, the fried rice was good but the pad thai wasn't very tasty. Had good breakfast at Brekkie's. The sausages at The Copenhagen Sausage Garden were kinda dry and chewy. Had some really good donuts at Drover's doughnuts. Enjoyed Sanger Wine Tasting & Alma Rosa Wine Tasting in Solvang. My husband enjoyed beer at The Solvang Brewing Company. Wanted to try out The High Roller Tiki Lounge but had our daughter with us; no children allowed. read more

My wife and I recently visited this hotel to celebrate her birthday! It was truly perfect, from the moment we arrived. The staff were very friendly and attentive, not too much or little. I usually rack my brain on places to stay but Corque was fantastic. We will be back :) The pool/jacuzzi is open till 11pm, which was a nice surprise. They clearly enjoy their work and their guests. The property is attractive, the bed comfortable. When we inquired about the hot tub, the woman at the front desk mentioned that they have the most comfortable robes. They do! Be sure to dine at their restaurant next door. It was a rough beginning for our three night stay. Extremely loud, hot tub party that didn't get shut down until well after 10:30pm and paper thin walls listening to crying families and hacking coughs. However, after the weekend crowds left the hotel relaxed into a lot comfortable setting. The restaurant attached to the hotel served a great breakfast (and great service) and the hotel is really located in a fantastic spot. I wish I could say I would be back - but there are so many other choices I would try something else before I would stay here again. read more

Arrived early to Solvang today and asked for an early checki-in on the way at 12:30. As it was a very quiet Tuesday in Solvang with many businesses closed today in town, was a bit surprised. They said as check out was 11am, they could not accomodate 12:30. We checked back around 2:30 pm and said our room was just having a final inspection. We toured the town, went to visit the Mission and now we sit in the lobby at check in time (4pm) watching a few guests other guests arrive, but we still have not. BTW, the wine vending machine they show in the lobby photos is not working either Doesn't even contain wine. We've been told more than once it would be ready soon, but is not. No compensation or apology has been offered as we wait well past check in. Can NOT recommend. read more

Solvang is a great town to visit but Christmas time is beautiful. We did some exploring, at good, and had a few drinks. Really enjoyed my visit here. It has the quaint exterior and lobby of the Solvang aesthetic, but very standard and clean hotel rooms inside. The lobby was well decorated for Julefest. The tree top rooms were especially spacious and could comfortably fit four people. Front desk was super friendly and easy to work with. The only unfortunate part was that since it is on the "outskirts" of town, I don't think any of the town view rooms have an actual view of "Solvang", at least not what most tourists would want. My stay on March 3, 2026, resulted in a traumatic physical assault, unlawful withholding of my property, and retaliatory credit card charges. ​I booked a mobility/hearing accessible suite and checked in with my documented service animal. During my stay, an individual affiliated with the local tribal property broke into my room and committed assault and battery against me. The hotel staff allowed this to happen and failed to provide any security or safe harbor. ​When local police arrived, the assailant attempted to convince them to arrest me. Due to the complex jurisdictional issues of the hotel operating on tribal land, the police refused to intervene, take my statement, or protect me from the assailant. ​I was forced off the property, but the hotel and tribal authorities refused to release my vehicle and personal belongings, forcing me to formally request permission via text message just to retrieve my own car. To make matters worse, shortly after I requested my belongings, the hotel retaliated by fraudulently charging my credit card an erroneous $300 "Carpet OOO Guest Room Damage" fee. ​The complete disregard for basic guest safety, the blatant ADA and civil rights violations regarding my disability and service animal, and the subsequent financial retaliation are entirely unacceptable for any business, let alone a Marriott-affiliated property. ​Do not stay here if you value your physical safety, your rights, or your property. I am currently escalating this matter to Marriott Corporate, the Department of Justice, and specialized legal counsel. read more

let's start with reservations. we called and specifically requested the same room we had the prior year: a large suite as it was a special occasion. when we arrived, they gave us a very small room overlooking the parking lot. no fear: lovely Anna came to the rescue but the suite we requested was not available so we got a smaller room overlooking the pool. the hotel is nice and located right at the town center so you don't need to get in your car. the room was comfortable with three exceptions: the Keurig needs to be cleaned, the shower door struggles to close so it leaks and people screamed and partied at the pool till after 11 p.m. it is still worth staying but be aware: room prices are very high and no breakfast is included. There is no on-site fitness center but the have an agreement with the local YMCA. read more

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. On the east side of downtown Solvang, but the downtown shops and other stuff are just a minute walk away. Done in a brick facade that blends perfectly with the town's Dutch decor. Cute lobby with a wine dispenser. Yes! Tap your room key to get a sample or a full class. Lobby elevator requires use of room key. Nice security touch. The elevator rugs are changed 3 times a day, good morning, good afternoon and good evening. Rooms were large. We had a king room and had plenty space. The bed was comfy. Enough room for both a sofa and a desk. The bathroom is huge with double sinks and a lavish walk-in shower stall. Lots of good bathroom lighting too. Lots of attention to detail. For example, there's a motion detector nightlight in the left hand nightstand that lights up when you swing your feet off the bed. Pretty nifty. Front desk friendly and accommodating. The only downcheck was the lack of convenient outlets for charging devices. The bed stand outlets and usb ports didn't work. But don't let that stop you. Definitely put Corque on your list of places to stay in Solvang. read more
