    Full sheet tomato pie
    Phylicia H.

Order the tomato pie and you will not be disappointed. Called earlier in the week to order a full sheet tomato pie for the Super Bowl. For special events/holidays, they will accept orders up until a certain day. On their social media, they posted the last day to order for the Super Bowl was 2 days prior, and day of they turned off all phones. So be prepared if you plan on ordering for a big holiday! The tomato pie was amazing and I loved the stencil for an extra cost. Sauce is a tad bit sweet and the dough is cakey. Absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend for any occasion.

I had a friend who needed some tomato pies. I placed the order over the phone for pick up in a few days. They took my payment over the phone. It was so easy, simple honestly. The male I spoke with was extremely helpful and polite. Picking up the pies was easy and dangerous all at the same time. You walk in one door, pick up your food and walk out another door. That door you walk out of is an automatic door! Perfect when you are carrying out those large tomato pies. Now that dangerous part I was talking about... all the delicious food all over inside. They even had Kaiser rolls!!! I have not had a good one since my childhood. There were so many good dessert options as well as breads and deli salads and meats. It was my first time walking inside, and definitely not my last! Pricing is very reasonable. The employees were always welcoming and extremely helpful. The interior was also very clean. I highly recommend the tomato pies.

I'm always on the lookout for a good Italian Bakery, and I'm glad to have found one so close to home. I found Corropolese a few months ago and I've been back several times since. I know a lot of people know this place (and their other locations) for their tomato pies, but don't forget about the pastries and other desserts. There's a whole display counter of just cookies. Then there's multiple displays of donuts, buns, fritters, cannoli, eclairs, creme puffs, sfogliatelles, pies, cakes, etc., and that's only one side of the bakery. There's also other specialties like baklava and cannoli chip dip too. They sell rainbow cookies, pizzelle, and boxed panettone as well. They make a maple bacon donut that is an absolute necessity to purchase every time I'm there. Last time I was there, there was a caramel apple walnut pie that was just calling my name, so I'm excited to go back next week and pick one up for Thanksgiving. Everything here is well made, not overly sweet, just perfectly delicious. Do yourself a favor and go pick up a box or two of your favorite assortments.

We have picked up their pizza many times at Shop Rite after our friend bragging about how good it was. We finally made a stop at one of their locations. This one is in an old WaWa. The interior is really nice - spacious and clean. There is one side filled with bread, one side filled with pastries and desserts and the back holds the pizzas. There are a lot of bread options and a lot of dessert options and the prices weren't that bad. They have a great tomato pie- really wet and a little sweet. Their desserts that my family bought were all enjoyed!

We were there on a Saturday early afternoon and it was crowded which I expected. We walked into the bakery end which has some tables and chairs and tons of baked goods to enjoy there or to go. There is a dining room in the middle of the bakery and pizzeria. After walking through that room we were where we wanted to be. There were some tables and chairs in the pizzeria which was good and we grabbed the last available table. You order at the counter. We knew we wanted to cheesesteak Detroit style pizza. The pizza was worth the ride! So so good!! We look forward to going back!

Tons of seating in the back, prompt service from what seems like high schoolers and college students on their break. The walls are absolutely maxed out with photos of various news, sports, and other cultural icons. We had one of the Detroit-style pizzas and a salad. Pizza was solid-- don't think I'd have this every day for fear of a severe downturn in my health, but when it comes to game days or just a dinner with the guys, I'd totally make my way over here if I could (I can't but I wish I could). Ordering happens from the counter. Food comes out pretty promptly. Staff are friendly, even letting us stay a bit longer past the closure of the main dining area so we could finish up. Overall-- stop by for a unique experience here in PA.

Morabito Baking Company has been around since 1932 and remains in the same family into its fourth…read moregeneration. It is a full service bakery, producing everything from rolls to bagels, muffins, pies and my reason for writing this review - tomato pies. Norristown is the center of Tomato Pie Land, and competes with all the big boys of this genre, most notably Corropolese and Conshohoken. Tomato pie is unique for three main reasons: 1) its simple elegance in having only two major aspects - thick/light dough base and heavy lightly sweet tomato sauce applied across the entire top of the large square crust; 2) the fact that it is made in bakeries rather than pizzerias; and 3) it is served at room temperature, giving it broad utility and versatility. I recently found a stack of Morabito Tomato Pies at the Costco in Warrington, PA. At $6.99 for a boxed quarter sheet, it was almost too good to be true. Could it possibly match up with the other stars that are famous around these parts? We bought a box to find out. It was every bit as good as those guys', and maybe even better, especially given the great price. I just finished the last four squares watching Christmas Eve football and enjoyed every last bite. Of course it was even sweeter that the Cowboys lost! Congratulations to Morabito Baking Company for getting a deal with Costco. This can't be anything but positive for further growth and recognition.
